I cannot believe this is the HQ. The taste of food is good. Cafeinated beverages are over priced. Things are very slow when crowded. I wish the service staff was trained better. My friend ordered a Special Tea but then ordered the tea of a custom menu by the register. The cashiers did not let her know that there was an upcharge for this. I paid for her, but when I brought up the issue that I was not notified of the up charges. It did not seem to the cashier or the manager that there was no ADDITIONAL PRICE listed anywhere. Yes it was just a few cents but its the principle that troubles me. They did not do anything to fix it, not even a sincere apology. I then walked in with my backpack and laptop and set up the laptop in a table near the cashier. I ordered my drink. I the asked the barista whats the WiFi password. They said the WiFi is not working (not the first time this has happened ). Couldnt they have told me before I set up everything and ordered my drink? This was just 2 of many negative experiences Ive had at HQ.

Spot Coffee Review 1. Convo Shake Is Amazing 2. They have actual breakfast. You can get an omelette or breakfast sandwich. 3. I usually go to Starbucks because they are convenient. I prefer their mobile app and the ability to order ahead. But if Spot Coffee had that option I would definitely go there more often. 4. The staff are always in a great mood whether you go early in the morning or right before they close. 5. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Its a great location right downtown. They also have all the literature and flyers available for local entertainment. Overall: definitely a great place to go for coffee, tea, food, or just ppl watching.

I hated this place. I ordered 2 simple breakfast sandwhiches and it took an actual hour to come out. It was actually impressive with how long it took 2 cooks to make such a simple order, which they even messed up. Everyone around us was waiting an hour as well and were all very angry. The food was decent but its not very hard to make a simple bacon egg and cheese sandwhich. 2 random people next to us also said how bad their coffee was which made sense why everyone had Starbucks coffees. I dont usually write reviews but I feel I need to save people from this place.

Its a 14 min walk from the Holiday Inn where I stayed. I have Celiac. This place is wonderful. They offered a gluten free cherry chocolate chip cake, which I ordered, along with an iced americano, and an omelette made to order with turkey, tomato, and avocado. The coffee was the smoothest Ive ever had, the omelette fluffy and full and they subbed berries for the usual bread side. The cake not overly sweet, but its dense, so Ill have some to eat later. A fun atmosphere, plenty of seating inside and out. A place worth checking out!

I was traveling with a friend from Canada in Niagara, after sending her away I had nothing to do it but hanging around the streets in Buffalo. I have to say it was a little depressing here, I didnt feel comfortable and decided to leave. Before leaving, I came to this coffee house, and had their homemade coffee, it was good. The atmosphere is great, warm, comfortable, the lady on the counter was really sweet and have a great smile. Spot Coffee saved my day and my impression on Buffalo. I just want to say thank you.

For those who sail tall ships and need some space, this is the place to be. The baked goods are great, and theres a good tea selection (no dark roast coffee today, or Id be able to comment), and overall the atmosphere is comfortable - its roomy enough for anonymity, but you can also find space for the crew to sit together. Close enough to Canalside to walk, but far enough that you cant see the masts. Definitely recommend. Sincerely, a deckhand of the U.S. Brig Niagara

We were at the Adam Mark for Swing Niagara - a swing dance convention hosting 500 people. Walked all over downtown. What a dissappointment. Then, like a mirage, I saw a Starbucks - a signal that I had found the better area. In need of better food than Starbucks offers, we went into The Spot. It was a nice surpise. Like finding a rose in a hill of weeds. And the mural. Tim Gaska painted a fantasy of downtown Buffalo - dated 1996. That alone was worth the visit.

Sopt coffees atmosphere is lamer than Starbucks. The staff acts like they are on a cheap knock off of cocaine. They are so self involved, they completely ignore their customers. The coffee is average to below average but presented pretentiously. If you want a great place in Buffalo go to Chow Chocolate in Elmwood village or Orange cat coffee in Lewiston, NY. Dont waste a valuable half hour of your life here let alone your money.

I love this place. The atmosphere is cozy and rustic. Everything I want in a coffee shop. You walk in and the baristas are genuinely friendly. After all that they can throw down a mean cup of that brown stuff. You name it Ive tried it and its all been incredible. Another thing I love: They have a local events board that is always filled and up to date. This is your quintessential neighborhood coffee shop. Love Love Love.

Spot coffee is a great place to go if you are semi artsie or want to have a simple date. The have two areas depending on your confort (couches and coffee tables and tables and chairs) Ive seen people play music there, Ive seen scenes and skits put on and people reconnect or hang out in a comfortable atmosphere. To me it better than the one on elmwood. Get a white hot chocolate.

I like the location, I like the coffee and the food is amazing! and the atmosphere is cool, the stuff is very friendy and professional BUT, BUT they would rather hire people to clean the place! the living room inside is so dirty, yuck! so much dust under tables and sofas and furniture, its disgusting and repellent. Please keep it clean and it would be the best coffee to me.

Have been unimpressed so far. Not many gluten free options and fruit smoothie didnt have anything special going on for almost $5. No fruit chunks or anything. Just a puree. Ive only been there twice and it was late in the day, so I havent tried the coffee yet. Feeling uninspired. I do like that they have some free books and board games.

The atmosphere of this coffee shop reminds me of the coffee shop set on the Friends TV show. I ordered a hot caramel macchiato, chocolate chip cookie and a Mikes Sandwhich, all of which were amazing. The caramel macchiato was twice as good as my local Starbucks. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the downtown Buffalo area.

I used to live right down the block from Five Points and go every Sunday morning. I dont make it as often anymore, but I do love it there. So, Five Points is a laid-back community-oriented bakery with a focus on sustainability. (For example, they offer a discount to anyone who walks or rides a bike to get there.)
