Hands down my favorite coffee shop in Buffalo. Great atmosphere, great coffee, great food. They even serve beer now. This store helped revitalize the Grant & Lafayette area - it was the foothold that established all the new commerce on those blocks over the past 5-6 years. I recommend the "Slams" (Breakfast Sandwiches) - their buns are baked fresh at the shop, the one with pesto is a personal favorite. My one piece of advice is that if youre really hungry, get something out of the bakery case to munch on while you wait for your food if they look busy - "good food takes time". They dont have the fastest kitchen, but the quality is almost always top notch.

Ive been to Sweetness 7 multiple times and have always left satisfied. While it does not have much "curb appeal", when you walk in the cafe definitely has its own unique personality. At any given point you will find a fair amount of people inside, either joying a meal or just coffee and a good read. My favorites have been the Megan McLeods Stacks, Croque Madam, and the Farmers Breakfast. Ive also tried the huevos rancheros which was tasty but not something Ive ordered a 2nd time. They used to have 2 locations but sadly the one by Delaware Park closed about a year ago. Regardless, the food and staff are definitely some of the best around.

The overal atmosphere is great for an urban cafe. The food is mediocre at best though. Not sure if because of the new location and lack of organization. We dont mind a long wait for good food but what we got were plates of grease, dry avocado toast on the wrong bread (we got wheat, asked for white). The hash browns were as if they were soaked in oil. The coffee wasnt as good as we had anticipated. When asking for a knife, the chef appeared overwhelmed and said that none were clean at the moment and that he couldnt help us. At least the girl at the register was pleasant. I wouldnt recommend this place.

I went not to long ago and I thought it was great! The cafe has a cool artistic vibe, tables spattered in paint, very abstract. Has a very antiquish vibe as well with tin ceilings. The coffee was great and the scones, delightful! I had a hard time deciding what to eat, it all looked so yummy. The people working there are very nice and meet your every need. I would reccomend this place to anyone who wants to see a cute place, they have cool activities that go on there as well as live music.... overall, excellent!

They have amazing panini and sandwiches. My breakfast sandwich came on a HUGE, homemade english muffin and the chocolate French toast was to die for!!! All their coffee and tea is organic, free trade, and they serve tons of healthy choices. The interior is a mix of industrial, artsy, and trendy. Its not too large, but theres a long antique table in the middle for a group. Theyre not too well advertised, so get the word out!! Im definitely going here a ton more!!!

Great neighborhood coffee house/cafe, has a bar. Interior is all reclaimed wood and cabinetry. We particularly like the Croque Madame sandwich for a weekend brunch on the way home from a bike ride, but all their food is excellent. The owner is very involved in the community. Dont let the neighborhood put you off, the Italian market and Westside book store are also worth a stop while you are in the area.

This cafe has a comfortable, lounge feel to it. It is not a hurried environment like other coffee places where everyone is trying to rush you in and out of line. You can stay as long as you like and there is room for everyone. The coffee is amazing, and the food is stylish. Great portions and the prices are reasonable. This a great place to drink coffee and chat with friends or get work done solo.

Whether its a sunny morning, cloudy day, or rainy afternoon, Sweetness 7 meets the coffee/food needs of all weather. The environment is full of sophisticated humor but not stuffy, the design meets Buffalos rusty red brick decor, and you can always try a new brew! The staff is courteous, friendly and truly know their trade. One of the West Side gems for sure.

For the area, its one of the best places to pick up a sandwich or sit down for breakfast. Typically the crowd is pretty diverse, so I am not sure if what another reviewer reported is an isolated incident or not. I once ordered and the wait did seem a bit too long and the food a little cold, however, I am just a difficult person in general. : )

Met a friend for lunch and I had the Farmers Breakfast with a fruit smoothie and she had the Love and Butter French toast. Absolutely amazing food and service! The decor and overall vibe are very artsy and I love the whole concept of the place! Looking for awesome local breakfast at any time? These guys are definitely worth a try!

Excellent new addition to the Buffalo neighborhood. Better coffee than Spot and Aroma. Nice large table in the middle of the cafe. Great breakfast menu with waffles and pancakes and an egg sandwich too.....doesnt look like there is a better joint for relaxing, studing etc....and Guircios is just a few feet away.

Sweetness focuses on local ingredients but fails to address overall cleanliness. The stairs down to the basement are falling apart, there are cobwebs in the bathrooms and everything could use a good scrub. Locals seem to love the place and the food is decent but nothing to write home about.

Best breakast, tastes better than what I could have made at home. Ingredients are so fresh, I felt as if there were a chicken in the back laying eggs. The pancakes were light and almost lemony but really just right. A little more down to earth than Spot Coffee, very welcoming experience.

The huevos breakfast sandwich desperately needed seasoning but was pretty good otherwise. This place has a really neat vibe to it. I typically dont like counter service but the line was short. The Bloody Mary isnt worth $9-10 despite being "house made."

One of the coolest spots in Buffalo. Everything from the coffee to the food is outstanding. This place is popular and often crowded, but I think it adds to the vibe. Definitely worth the trip! Highly recommend this place!

Hands down, the best coffee in Buffalo. Wonderful food. Wonderful environment. Wonderful people. Also admire their business connect and support of West Side Stories and Grant St businesses in general.
