It doesnt hurt that this place is very close to my house, but the neighborhood vibe practically oozes out of the nooks and crannies of this little place. The bartenders are cool, theyve got a pretty decent happy hour (which I dont care if I miss because the drinks are completely reasonably priced) and the other guests dont care if I eavesdrop and butt in.... dont worry, I only do that if they are talking about Buffy. Ive spent a lot of time in bars, this is one to come home to.

This place is odd in that the patrons generally seem pretentious, but the staff not. The staff is incredibly genuine and detailed oriented. The bartender spent a good 5 minutes brewing me hot chocolate, taking the time to stir in the chocolate by hand and offering me vanilla salt to bring out the flavor. I didnt know there was such a thing and he explained how its made it why its good. Friendly and informed and genuinely enthusiastic about sharing, thats the best kind of service.

his is one of my favorite coffee bars in the city, they are so much more than just coffee. Much like any bar in Paris, this place serves great coffee in the morning, and beer and wine at night. I honestly dont know why more places dont do this, its such a great idea. The lattes are hand made, 100% delicious, worth the wait - this isnt Starbucks it takes more than 30 seconds to pump out a quality drink. The beer selection rivals much bigger paces - quality over quantity.

If you need a spot to kill some time in, like I did, look no further my friends. Good music. Nothing goes with coffee like oldies pandora. Good coffee. Good food. The pear sando. Good beer. The Peekskill Pale Ale Good company. Had myself a conversation with Alex the bartender about beers. The young man is very knowledgable. If I didnt live so far away Id frequent this spot, and I have no trouble saying that.

This is my every day space, coffee, wonderful pastries and a great staff. The coffee is a bit like rocket fuel, it will get you raring for the morning. Ovenly pastries are heavenly - interesting flavor combinations without being too weird. Basically, you cant go wrong in here. Its a comfortable atmosphere, great {indie of course} music sountrack, and as mentioned, awesome employees.

I like to go to this place on rainy days. They only have an expresso machine so a "coffee" is just an americano. Yogurt is good, toast is good, all the food Ive tried is great, and the coffee is full of flavor. The cafe is half underground-I mean, its at street level, but a little below, and its so cozy to be at a table when its raining with an americano.

This place received a 3 star from me at first, but then I thought about how "cute" it is. It is a really good place to have in this up and coming neighborhood. I walk by every weekend and see a lot of the people from the neighborhood sitting around and just chatting or logging onto their little laptops. Its cute. -blasianFMA

great coffee, cozy well decorated space...snacks and food from some of the best Brooklyn Food vendors...They have wifi but for some reason my computer doesnt seem to want to latch on to it...Everyone else seems to be fine so it has no bearing on my rating...

A basement cafe/bar with great afternoon coffee, delicious brunch sandwich, cool music (could be a Tarentino file. Soundtrack; but not played too loud to chat); becomes a local work space during the day; but maintains a cool pleasant atmosphere.

Great little cafe in Bed Stuy. They have great, strong coffee and a good selections of eats. I had a bagel with lox, dill cream cheese, cucumber, pickled onions, and capers. DELISH. They also have a lot of vegan options!

Bedford Hill Coffee is a cute neighborhood stop for coffee. It is however pricey. With the closest two cafes being no less than four blocks its a good stop for a quick snack. I enjoy here.

Poorly designed space, not a place to sit down and enjoy a coffee. Grab and go. Its not clear when ordering, but they do not make drip coffee, only expresso drinks. Reasonably priced.

Nice coffee shop. Place has a laid back vibe. Clientele shows the gentrification on Bed Stuy. Not a knock against them. Just an observation. Good sandwiches and yummy looking pastries.

A small, cozy spot tucked under the corner. As a former barista Im inwardly hard to please, but the staff was delightfully friendly and funny.

The oatmeal cookies are great and very soft, which I love cause I hate hard cookies! But these are great, a bit pricey.
