Meh. The looks of this cafe beckoned. There was a sign that said something about the badass waffles and (cannot recall the adjective, but something like) feisty baristas. Well... Ill get hate-mail but it was like being taken care of by Seinfelds soup Nazi... This one, She-in-Charge, first TOLD us to, adding earnest body-hand language, "move"... And pointed us to where the line forms ( if there were more than us two waiting that us)... then as I asked if she had salt bagels, she turns and dramatically moves towards the rack-o- bagels, THEN using bare hands that just handled money, swaps around all the 10-13 bagels while in a superior tone TELLS LOUDLY the other barista the importance of keeping these bagels in type-order... Shes all wired...She then gets the paper coffee cup and hands it to me with her fingers in the cup. Doesnt say where the coffee urns are hiding. Oh... The coffee was luke warm, the bagel okay, the art and decor nice, the coffee roasting area looks like its in need of major cleaning up. Overall, unlike the fictional Soup Nazis reputation which could be overcome by scrumptious soup, the coffee and foods didnt make up for the weird customer experience we had nor the typical costs of these places.

This is an awesome place for a coffee or even some food. When you walk in the menu is on the wall and they have some pretty cool food options. Although I admittedly did not eat here. I got an espresso and it is strange to say but it even tasted fresh. The most interesting aspect of this place is that they have thier own coffee roaster where they can roast it on site. Roasting in store is something I have never seen before and definitely something worth checking out.

This is a great place. Im a chai & tea man myself, & my partner is a coffee drinker so we cover the waterfront. Delicious all around, and a nice, relaxing atmosphere, which you wouldnt expect with all that caffeine flying around. I also enjoy the relative minimalism of the decor. I dont enjoy lots of fake antiques and replica tin signs, makes me wonder if the coffee is replica, too, or something. Anyway Americas Cup rocks.

Big fan of Americas Cup, for the most part - clean, modern decor, a refreshing, unhurried ambiance, & one of the best iced lattes Ive ever had. Unfortunately, it loses points lost for repeatedly unfriendly customer service from staff who cant be bothered to so much as smile. Id rather support a local joint than a Starbucks, but at least Starbucks has a basic standard of barista niceness.

Best coffee and breakfast in Asbury Park! Excellent breakfast paninni, and the Badass Waffles are the favorite of many local musical celebrities! They roast their own coffee beans here, so dont expect a weak Dunkin Donuts type of experience...theres bold flavor to their house blend.

I love this place. The Nova Scotia Salmon Bagel with cream cheese and capers rocks, and the coffee is always great. Plus, they offer soy and vegan options. I especially love the atmosphere and decor, and there is free wifi too. Always my first stop when I come to Asbury.

Canned fruit in my granola bowl, yuck. Processed dried artificially sweetened coconut, and I paid to add yogurt, not substitute for the almond milk. I still ate half because I was starving after I waited 15 mins. The coffee was amazing. So I give this place 2 stars.

Good coffee, beans roasted on-site, good people. Always dependable with the coffee and the best waffles around. The cookie butter waffles are fantastic. Great views of downtown with open windows when the weather allows

Owner/manager is rude with no people skills who raised his voice at me without any prompting or good reason. Bad customer service isnt worth the visit when you have plenty other, lovely options in Asbury Park.
