This was the worst restaurant experience. expected quiet night out for dinner after the snowstorm. Table next to us had 5 adults and a 2 year old at 8:30 in the evening. The child screamed at the top of her lungs through the entire meal. The parents did nothing to address this childs behavior. the waitress did apologize but did not involve her manager or offer to seat us somewhere else.. Other tables in the area got up and left when we did and agreed that the familys behavior was inappropriate. When we left we said to the people at the table that they ruined our evening out. The customer cursed us out publicly. We got home and called the manager; Mike who then blamed us for this horrific incident in his restaurant. We have children and the child is not the issue but that the restaurant and parents did nothing to address situation. As local residents I am disappointed to say that I will never patronize that restaurant again due to the lack of respect and customer service by its management.

Terrible service. I went on a friday night with my boyfriend. The bar was pretty crowded, but the restaurant area was pretty empty. We were seated quickly and then from there no one came to serve our table....in over 30 minutes! There was about 6 waiters and only a few tables filled. We made eye contact with all of the waiters, watched them all group up in a corner, not doing anything... my boyfriend even stood up in case they "missed" our table, but we continued to be blatantly ignored. NO ONE even came to our table to offer water. After 40 minutes, we had enough and decided to go elsewhere; however before leaving, we went up to one of the waitresses who passed by our table most often to confirm that the kitchen was still open and that they were still serving customers. After confirming that everything was indeed open, we made her aware of the wait...she did not say anything. This was the worst service I have ever experienced.

The place itself seems nice, the decoration good. The food is actually good also. It would have been 4 stars if it stopped there. But, if you are 8 persons or more, forget about this place. We had the worst service I ever experienced. It starts with meals not served at the same time, beers just dropped on the corner of the table, not to the person itself. Add to that, no check on empty place removal, and, the last part, the billing. Actually, they are charging 18% for tips when 8 or more persons. The service knows and the service level is clearly lower due to that. Also, watch out if they are making a mistake on your bill. They dropped all our bills on a corner, many of us paid with credit cards and they simply dropped the paper and cards on the corner as they did with the beer. That service worth 0% tip and we were forced to pay 18%. So, if you are 8 or more persons, go somewhere else.

What an amazing venue! I have been here before with my friends for dinner and drinks and always had a great time. I did not realize how amazing they really were until I had my company holiday party held there. I worked with Danielle who is the catering manager. She went above and beyond for me and our 25+ party. From the first conversation we exchanged till the moment I walked out the door the experience was wonderful. The food tastes great, the service is excellent, and the live music and fireplace were the final touches. Thank you so much Danielle and The Post Office Cafe for hosting the best holiday party we have ever had. We will be back next year!!!!

Post office is a nice place to grab dinner or drinks with friends and family. The place is pretty big, probably one of the biggest in Babylon, so there has never been a wait for a table. The food is always good quality. The service has been hit or miss when it is busy. The specials are great. I love wine down Wednesday. Half price bottles and flights all day! Perfect to go out with a few friends to relax over a bottle of wine!

I like this place so much that we actually had our wedding rehearsal dinner here. They were great on both accounts. The food is excellent, the service staff is actually one of the best Ive encountered while wedding planning, (and theyre great on a regulr basis also). Right now Im typing this review because my husband is taking too long deciding on what to get because "there are too many good options"

once a long standing watering hole in the newly emerging food hub that is now babylon, the last 2 visits to the po were disappointing. staff is wonderful as usual, but the food has submerged to the applebys standard. shame. still a lovely place for a drink withe the amazing bar staff.

Server was great but this was horrible food. The waffle fries were so over cooked that they snapped apart like a pretzel rod. I didnt know it was possible to have a bad grilled cheese with bacon sandwich either. Disappointing experience. Much better options in the Babylon area.

The place was packed but I found my way tO get a table fast. The waitress was very nice and showed real concern on is liking the food and the service.. The place looke a little messy I guess cause all the peOple waiting right by the entrance but overall was a great experience.

The Post Office has gone downhill over the years. Inexperienced food servers dont help matters, food quality just fair, prices getting ahead of itself. The actual restaurant is getting run down and the bathrooms are so dirty it makes you want to run out the door.

The food was pretty good but the service was a little slow. We went on a busy Friday night but the waitress was exceptionally slow with taking our orders and getting the bill when we had to leave. I would go again but maybe when I had more time.

We had a great experience here! Dillon our waiter was excellent! Very friendly and attentive. He made great recommendations and made sure our glasses were never empty! The food was good, the atmosphere was fun and casual. A good time had by all.

Went for lunch one day a couple of weeks ago and got a dirty look when we walked in. We were seated and still the hostess was looking at us in a nasty way. So we sit down and bad vibes came to me and my son. So we both got up and walked out.

I love this place not only can you done but you can just go to hang out at the bar. One of my family members had their bridal shower here and the food was great and so were the mimosas. I highly recommend this place

Terrible establishment. Wouldnt accept an out of state ID or a passport as a form of ID. Bouncers yelled at me to get out. Questioned why I was in my hometown for Memorial Day weekend. What a joke.

Excellent pub/bar fare. Staff was very friendly and attentive, of course this was 4 pm on a Monday. Will definitely try it again as I suspect its significantly different place in the weekend.
