Food was great but the staff was awful including management. I get there with my wife, 2 year old daughter, and mother in law to celebrate mothers day. When they sit us, I see they are taking us to the lounge/bar, and Im like wait a minute I have my two year old daughter with me. So I kindly ask the hostess to sit us some where else and she got annoyed and said well hod on let me ask. So we follow her to the front and she pulls her manager to the side, some lady in orange pants, and tells her what was going on. The manager comes up to me and rudely says "what seems to be the problem sir", which I tell her "I dont want to be seated in the lounge area with my two year old daughter, may we please get another seat". This really annoyed her and again, rudely answers back " have a sit in the front well see what we can do". I dont know, call me old fashioned I guess, but I dont think its right to sit a family with a two year old daughter in the lounge. I didnt appreciate that at all or the way the staff reacted when I politely asked for a another table. Im spending my hard earned money on your establishment and you want to act that way, thats not right.

Mexican restaurants are a dime a dozen in Las Cruces so deciding on this joint was more based on proximity than anything else but the reviews sounded good so I took a leap of faith. Needless to say I wasnt disappointed. They offer 4 kinds of dip with a healthy portion of chips to start you off. I especially enjoyed the queso dip and sweat inducing hot sauce. The beauty of the dips is there is something for every palate and a heaping portion of sour cream to cleanse the palate if it gets too hot. The open faced enchiladas were amazing and an instant hit at my table. The portions are Texas sized (not surprised since its so close to TX) and will definitely require a doggy bag. It gets really busy during the dinner rush so plane accordingly and tell them Craig sent you, itll get you a smile and a coke but thats all! Enjoy.

Truly authentic mexican cuisine. The wonderful fountain in the front of the restaurant gives you a glimpse of what to expect and you wont be disappointed. Spanish style decor and courtyard type settings add to the charm of this gem in Las Cruces. The service is great and everyone is inviting and makes you feel very welcome. Expect generous portions, traditional dishes with authentic Hatch green chile make the food truly unique and very delicious. If you are not into green chile the variety in the menu will satisfy any taste buds. The fries that come with their unique burgers are highly recommended, the texture, the batter, the taste is unlike any I have ever had, truly delicious. The rice is highly recommended also. Definately a place I will frequent when in Las Cruces.

When we went in, we noticed that the Mexican music was very loud. When we were seated, we could hardly talk to each other because it was so noisy. Everybody was having to yell over the music to be heard by their party. This made everybody else yell even louder to be heard by their parties. We were also seated close to the kitchen/service area and the workers made a lot of noise with trays, utensils, etc. We requested that the music be turned down but were told that they didnt have any control over the volume. What? Just walk into the office and turn it down! We had eaten here a few years ago and had the same experience. Thought we would give it another try, with the same results. Doubt if we will ever go back.

From the food, to the service, to the overall atmosphere, this place is a gem. Incredible food and prices. This has now become my favorite place. Its a shame we dont have one in El Paso, but maybe thats a good thing or else Id go broke! If theres one thing I would suggest, is to tone down the spiciness in the green chile salsa. Im a heat lover myself, but it was ridiculously spicy, which made it difficult to enjoy. However, it was delicious nonetheless! I just discovered this place last week and have already been there twice. I will definitely recommend this place to others.

The food at Si Senor doesnt set itself apart from a dozen other decent Mexican restaurants in Las Cruces, but it does have a few nice features: First, it has a drive-through window and the line moves at a decent pace; second, they accept credit/debit at the window; and finally, each to-go order gets a sopapilla and chips/salsa. These factors make Si Senor a good bet for a convenient (and filling) lunch.

I love the stuffed sopapillas with shredded chicken and shredded beef with green chile. They have always been quick when Ive went. Sometimes there is a wait, but usually not a problem. Some will argue about authenticity, me, I go there because there are things I like to eat and the green chile is good. I love the four salsas and chips they bring to the table. Excellent way to start the meal.

Absolutely excellent. I was reading all the previous reviews before we went to eat, and everyone who gave Si Senors such bad reviews is simply crazy. The service was excellent, the food was delicious**, and their menu is NOT that expensive. Our check averaged to about $12 per person. Disregard anyone giving bad reviews to this place, it was the best food weve had so far on our NM-AZ vacation.

Ive never really liked SI Señor, I was invited by my cousin and his family to go eat over there. I ordered a SI Señor steak right, oh my God Sunday morning I had a fever I had the runs" diarrhea all morning long" that food was the only thing I ate the day before. I will never eat there again no way no way this food gave me a fever this food gave me diarrhea I will never eat there again.

I brought my Italian friend here so he could try Mexican food (he is from Italy and was visiting for a few days) and the waitress Ashley was extremely friendly and welcoming to him, and patiently explained all the options for Mexican food since he did not know any of the choices. Thank you for your hospitality!! Some of the friendliest service I have ever received in my life.

Im a senior new in town. This is very close to my new home, so I popped in for a meal. I usually can get by on a childs combo plate, but I really really wanted to try EVERYTHING!! So I splurged and got the big combination plate with a to-go box. Had dinner AND lunch to enjoy the next day! Now I see Im even closer to the drive -thru express, so I use this location now
