Food: Pretty good. Service: Slow, Slow,Slow. I came in on a weekday about 2:30 and there were almost 25 people ahead of me waiting in line. I wasnt seated at a table with my food until after 2:45. The cause of the wait was because only three employees were working; 1 cook, 1 server, 1 cashier. They were trying, but just couldt keep up. This is a management problem; not scheduling enough employees to cover the lunch rush on a college campus. I cant agree with the other reviews here that knocked the quality of the food. Im pretty sensitive to the presence of MSG and didnt feel there was an excessive amount of it. I think the biggest problem, and I have observed this in other Las Cruces restaurants, is the lack of training and supervision of employees and, this time, failure to have enough people on to cover a rush period. Ive worked in food service and so have family members and I know there is pressure to keep costs down to pump up the bottom line. The best way to strike back if youve had bad food or service is to write to corporate and provide a detailed explanation, including time and location of your visit and why you came away with such a bad impression. You might even get a free meal out of it. If you dont hear back, dont go back.

If this is your idea of GOOD Chinese food, you need to get the hell out of New Mexico. This stuff tasted like pure MSG. It was lukewarm at best. It was gross. Furthermore, I ordered to go and somehow, between the person I ordered from to the cashier, they misplaced my order, which should be IMPOSSIBLE. Then, of course, I look like an ass for pointing out that Im just STANDING at the cash register and my food is just SITTING THERE and no one is even bothering to check who the to go box is for. OH NO. Lets IGNORE the box right in the middle of everyones way. And the CASHIER even acknowledged my existence and walked away. I mean, WTF? Was I just standing there to look pretty? The HELL. Worst service Ive seen on top of disgusting faux Chinese food. Hell, Ill just get Vietnamese; at least that tastes good here.

Im pretty ticked off. the two girls in the front serving were not friendly at all. They didnt look like they wanted to be there. The broccoli beef had like not beef at all and I asked if they could give me a fresh batch so I could have at least 50/50 ratio. Then the girl looked at me like I was stupid and said yes But that it would take longer And started loading the rest of my food. I politely asked if they could wait to start packaging it so my food doesnt get cold and again, she rolled her eyes and didnt say anything to me. Their soda was out so I left with an all carbonation drink and when I got home the broccoli beef was cold and I had like 90% broccoli in my broccoli beef so I know for a fact they just used the leftovers from before. Im probably never coming back with service like that.

If youre dining in at the Rinconada location its pretty good service but if youre going through the drive thru dont bother. Placed an order at 1:35pm through the drive thru was told that I had to wait for some of the food to be cooked and it would be 4 min. Waited in parking until after 1:50 pm, went inside and asked for manager. No manager, no supervisor just a tenured line staff. Asked about my food and was told it would be another 4 min. Wait because the food they had made went to the dine in customers. Waited until after 2pm went inside and expected my food but nope more apologies. Asked for a refund and watched as the food type I had ordered was nicely on display to be served. Youd think this type of establishment would have legitimate supervision and not a server of the week running things.

I have to say in all my years I have never felt so angry and disapointed about customer service and product go leave a review but I have no choice. The service is so slow I could go to the DMV and expect faster service. The food tastes okay if your into mostly veggies to eat along with small meat portions to add to the fire the manager was the person who served me these poor underportioned amounts. Ive got to say I like panda express but this one has no reason to carry on if they dont care about the product and customer satisfaction. Ive got to say the other location being built next to Walmart is focus on these goals for your successes because Ive already lost faith in the location on Missouri.

I agreenworhbither reviews that it always takes very long to get your food. I am not sure why it takes so long but they need to figure out a new system. And I always shake my head that almost every time I go there we have to wait for the teriyaki chicken. It obvious it is one of their popular items and they should try to keep up. Now I just came from there and when I opened upy box I was disappointed that in beef and brocolli there was literally ONE peice of beef! I wish I could post a photo here. One peice of beef into beef and brocolli!

The place is good during the day because I understand its always crowded so service is at the best it can be. The food is good and tasty. I would only rate it 3 stars because the tables are always dirty when I walk in. The place closes at 9:30 pm but when you walk in at 8:30 pm the place looks like its about to close. They hardly have any food on the menu and dont offer to cook more up. Its like your force to eat what they have left. Come one it closes in a hour make smaller portions to cook if your worried about over cooking.

My complaint is that they do not have a student discount like other places do around university. I mean they are located right on campus, college students have to be 90% of their clientele. I think a 10% student discount is deserved, they are losing people on their customer service already. Food is good for what you are getting, it is fast food "Chinese" so lets all be realistic here. I noticed some of the dishes did have mostly vegetables and little to no meat, but I just got what appeared to have more meat so Im satisfied.

Love this place too much. Make sure to save your receipt for a free entree after a quick survey, which is a very good deal. Once you get past the delicious candied meats, make sure to try the wok smart items which are the under rated gems of panda, specifically the string bean chicken. Service is a bit slow but it can get slammed without warning. The raspberry tea they brew there is awesome, it really brings out the flavors of the chicken dishes, you must try; unsweetened.

NEW LOCATION ALERT: NEW 2016: They have a NEW location up by the new WalMart on Rinconada, off US 70, east of town. It has eat in, drive through and REAL PARKING. The original review is for the original location, cant figure out how to get Google to accept new location. One star for University location: I would love to go here but it definitely skewed toward the university crowd (parking and service ways).
