We ate here over July 4th weekend. My husband and I were only planning to stop by the bar. While we were there we ordered the nachos, the restaurant was packed. I had the stuffed goose martini--the blue cheese was fresh and so good. My husband ordered one of their other special drinks. The braised short rib nachos were excellent. We literally didnt leave a crumb on the plate. After that we decided to stay for dinner. I ordered the lobster roll which was all lobster. I couldnt believe it--so good! My husband had the fish tacos which were also good (I tried a bite). Over dinner we tried the Cape May beer and then had Moscow mules which werent on the menu but the bartender made anyway. After dinner, we headed out to the patio. We didnt eat dinner out there because we thought it might rain. It was a great view of the beach. Perfect way to end the evening with some drinks. The staff from the hostess to the bartender to the waitress to the manager were all very friendly and personable. We will definitely head back to Coastal Blue again. We might even take the kids next time. There were several families there who looked like they were having a great time.

Recently my Wife and I had the pleasure of dining at the Coastal Blue Oceanside Bar & Grill located in Diamond Beach NJ. We have been to Diamond Beach several times in the past and have dined in the area which offers various restaurant options but we wanted to sample the fare at Coastal Blue. Coastal Blue did not disappoint. The staff, the service and the FOOD were five stars plus! Whether you are a couple sharing and evening together or vacationing with Family, Coastal Blue offers a myriad of fantastic menu options for every palette. It is very apparent that the Chef at Coastal Blue prepares each meal as if it were his own. Moreover, the atmosphere of dining along the beautiful Atlantic Ocean under the moonlight was the cornerstone of a fantastic romantic evening for both of us. I would highly recommend to anyone that you make it a top priority and visit Coastal Blue Oceanside Bar & Grill when in Diamond Beach, I know that my Wife and I will be frequent guests in the future. GREAT JOB COASTAL BLUE!!!

Had a delicious manhattan at the bar while we waited a short, pleasant time for our table (and there was a bit of presentation - ice water chilled in a glass in front of me until the bartender returned to strain the delicious concoction). Sue, our server, was delightfully warm and made my wife and I feel like old friends. We sat facing the sea. The band was two older gentleman crooning a range of predictable tunes; the singing was not the highlight of the evening, but it fit the mood. The food was delicious, as was the Cape May IPA I had with my three fish tacos. They were on the border of too spicy for me (Im a light-weight), but the subtle pain was beat out by the delicious, lightly browned fish and balanced by the guacamole and other fillings. The tacos came with a side salad that was far from an after-thought; yummy and fresh. Prices were reasonable, particularly for oceanside. Overall, a great experience. Wish I could give 4 1/2 stars.

Let me start by saying that the atmosphere and ambiance was amazing. It was a chilly night but we still liked it. The food was very tasty. I am not going to deny it. Everything we ordered tasted good ( except for the lava cake bc it wasnt a real lava cake). The reason why I gave them 3 stars is because the service was super slow. It was a Friday night. There werent many tables with people outside and yet the waitress took her time coming over to our table even after we kept telling her we were ready. Once we ordered, thr food came fast. But it took a long time to get someone to come to the table for regular food and dessert. Not sure if I would come back.

We know that Pats and Genos in Philly are great but in New Jersey, the White House Sub Shop is the best! My father turned me on to this place when I was a kid and they had a home in nearby Brigantine. The secret to making these delicious submarine sandwiches is to take out most of the inside white part of the bread. This leaves more room for their fresh meats and vegetables, creating a great hoagie. Their other items are great too - egg and pepper sandwiches, cheese steaks, and the rest. If your in Atlantic City, check out this place for a great meal but come hungry.

May 29, 2015 tried this restaurant with a group of friends staying in Wildwood for the weekend. The dinner and the service were exceptional. I go to Wildwood twice a year for many years, and have visited many restaurants in the area. We had such a wonderful time and enjoyed the food. The service was excellent, our waitress and other staff were just wonderful. The menu was american cuisine and prices very reasonable for the quality of the food. I would highly recommend patronizing this establishment. I know I will be going back again!

Tasty omelets, fluffy pancakes and crisp bacon - doesnt get better than that!! Actually, it does... The coffee is the best of any restaurant in the area - and thats just breakfast!! Costal Blue also has great lunch and dinner options and fantastic drinks! (Definitely try the crab cake entree and frozen margaritas!) The atmosphere is also wonderful - especially the outdoor seating with beautiful views of the beach! The restaurant is so satisfying we ended up going there 3 times in 1 weekend!! A "must" visit!!

We were guests of the Iacona Hotel. The Coastal Blue Oceanside Grill was a great perk for us. We had breakfast, lunches and dinner there during our stay. The food was always fresh and extremely delightful. The staff was especially welcoming and very caring. From our waiter Michael, our waitress Laura and bartender Patty, nothing was amiss! The atmosphere is quite chic, but I am not surprised. The restaurant is part of a hotel that was equally a terrific experience. We give it 5 stars!

Family Easter Brunch Our 1st experience at Coastal Blue and we all LOVED IT! Food was fantastic and the service was exceptional! Some of the courses may have been a bit to much for the younger kids but chief Peter the was out of the kitchen begging these kids for their favorites. He was obviously there to make EVERYONE happy. Told Josh we would see him at one of his future events. Cant wait to get back to Coastal Blue.

Place was great! Really nice restaurant. We went for appetizers and drinks while watching George Pollis on the steel drum which really created that fun beach bar/restaurant atmosphere. Food was delicious (Wings and Brazed Short Rib Nachos) and they had local craft beer on tap. Was a lot of fun and looking forward to come back for dinner! Everyone was saying that the fish tacos are amazing but we ran out of time!

Fabulous greeting with excellent seating was my introduction to the Coastal Blue Oceanside Grill. The menu was quite simple and affordable. I enjoyed a delicious meal which was priced to my budget and the desert was to die for! I cannot wait to return and would highly recommend this restaurant. Great place to take the Family.
