Had an issue here over this past weekend that I thought I would write a review about. Was with a group of 6 people at around 5pm on a Sunday. 4 of us got our IDs checked, paid cover charge and waited at doorway for the remaining 2 people in our group to get in. Of the last 2, the "ID Checker" decided that our friends ID was not legit. She is 23 years old, and had multiple forms of ID. She also brought up her FB account to show the idiot "ID checker". One of the guys in our group was also a police officer who showed his badge and vouched for her. This "ID Checker" was on a power trip and talked down to everyone in the group. He was very rude and condescending. Since he wouldnt let the one girl in our group through the door, we all decided to leave so she wouldnt have to go home. They refused to give us our cover charge back even though we were right at the door waiting for everyone to come through. This place is a rip-off and does bad business. We went down the street to Springfield who gave us no issues, and we had a great time there instead.

Being a local, the scene can get pretty tired in town. LaCostas outside bar is one of the few spots that I still go to on my nights off. The staff has always treated me as more than just another customer and that is all you can really ask when sit down at a bar stool and order a cold drink. Service is excellent and bartenders like Dave, Anthony, Jordan, Frie, and Mike make all the difference. Furthermore, the owner, Jimmy Bennett goes out of his way on a regular basis to thank his customers for coming in. He is one of the few owners on this island with a presence in his clubs. Highly recommend.

This place is a great bar with friendly bartenders and runs very organized, the prices are reasonable and usually have specials, Sunday fun day is the best with happy hour specials for a good part of the day, since the place was remodeled has a wide open area out back and now a big area for dancing inside. If a night out in sea isle is what you want to do la Costa would be the place to go especially if your in a big group.

Every time I go there I have a Blast its a fantastic experience. The Bartenders keep my cup full and the music is always playing. My friends and I normally start our night there and finish our night there. Always have great specials and the deck bar outside normally has live music. I have even seen a mechanical bull out there before. Best Pina Colada in town,

Thursday nights during the Summer are a great way to kick off the weekend and sometimes can be down right epic. Live cover bands, $2 Miller Lite bottles, $3 Redbull bombs and $2 Fireball shots. Of course the weekends are great as well. They have totally remodeled the in and outside bars for the 2015 Summer!!! Bigger dance floor and more craft beers on tap now.

Have had some fun nights with good bands. The atmosphere isnt much but the bands make it the best local place to drink, dance and have fun. Dont miss Gypsy Wisdom when they play there. I would only go when there is a band I like playing.
