have been coming to the dogtooth bar & grill for a couple of years now. in the past weve had wonderful dinners here with our family. we were very disappointed with not only the food this time around but with the way the manager handled our request for compensation or a replacement for an entree that was not acceptable. we were a party of 5 and my granddaughter ordered the pescatore pasta. at $25 it was a rather pricey entree but sounded good on the menu. my granddaughter tasted the dish & said it had no flavor. the sauce on the pasta was watery and she didnt want to eat this dish. we asked for the manager. kasey mcnamy came over and said that since my granddaughter had eaten half of the entree, she could only give her a discount off the bill for this item. my granddaughter had not eaten over half of the entree...she had tasted it...clearly a lot of it was still there in the dish as she ended up taking it home in a large container since we still had to pay for this dish my granddaughter didnt want to eat! we had also asked for something else instead but that didnt happen either. when we had asked what our discount would be afterwards, ms. mcnamy said it would be 10% off. she further stated that since over half had been eaten she didnt even have to give us any discount. she was rude and obnoxious in her conversation with us. we also noticed also that our 2 bowls of the creamy crab soup were not as we remembered. the soup was very thick (maybe too much flour) and a strange pink color. we have gotten this soup before & the taste was not the same nor was there hardly any chunks of crab in the bowl as before. the quality has definitely gone down on this one. at $6.50 a bowl, thats a lot of money for some subpar soup! our bill came to $106.38. thats a lot to pay for a meal that was unsatisfactory in some areas! we shared a lobster roll that was full of filler (mayonnaise, celery, etc.) and not the same quality as before. the amount of lobster was lacking also. we always get this dish and again were disappointed here. the quality of the food has gone down. the way we felt we were treated as customers was deplorable. needless to say, we will not be back. 5 customers who had 1 bad experience from a restaurant we had so been looking forward to! we are sorry to say goodbye, dogtooth grill, but it appears that you do not value us as customers and we will take our business elsewhere!

First of all, this place is NOT open until 2AM even though thats what it says online. My family and I walked into this restaurant at 12:30 for late night appetizers and we were treated like garbage. The waitress (dont even know what her name was because she didnt introduce herself) greeted us by saying "the kitchen is closing in exactly 5 minutes, so what do you want?" Who greets a table that way? My family and I have all worked in the restaurant industry so we know that attitude is everything. We were not an obnoxious group of vacationing teens, even though thats how we were treated. When we asked how the quesadillas were made the waitress replied "I have no idea." You dont know how your food is made? Ok. We order two appetizers and apologize for not realizing that we came late. The food came out and was DELICIOUS however right after we were presented with the check. She didnt ask how the food was, no refills, no smile, nothing. As I stated previously, weve all worked in the restaurant industry for YEARS and understand that your tips are everything. The bill was $28 dollars and what could have easily been an 8 dollar tip, unfortunately turned into a 3 dollar tip. Still eating our food when they turned the tv and the lights off on us. Thank you for the warmest welcome to wildwood Dog Tooth. We will definitely be telling everyone we know about this experience.

I visited the Dogtooth with my two kids (6 & 10) and my mom on a Friday night for dinner. We arrived at 4:45 and got seated right away...although it was starting to get busy. The dinning room was a little loud, but thats to be expected at a bar. The menu had a nice selection and we all tried something different. I got the Cabo Tacos and thought they were good. My mom got the lobster rolls and thoroughly enjoyed them. I tried one and also thought they were very good. My son got the Pescatore Pasta and really enjoyed it. I think he would have preferred a red sauce, but he liked the amount of seafood in the dish. My daughter got the baked macaroni on the kids menu. It came in a little crock and had a crumb topping...just like a mini macaroni and cheese casserole. She enjoyed it and I also enjoyed it when she got full and I finished her meal. The price was reasonable and the service was excellent. Our food came out quickly and the meal was well paced. The servers were very nice. Overall, I highly recommend the restaurant.

My husband and I went to Wildwood for a visit and came across Dog Tooth Bar & Grill. We decided to try it out. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! The bar was too loud, the food leaves you feeling you should have just gone to McDonalds, and the service was awful! We would not be SO disgusted by this place, if we had not had the awful experience of having a woman named Debbie as our server. Debbie was so rude from the beginning of the night to the end of the night and as we observed the way she was with other customers, we concluded that she has an all-around bad attitude. I own my own restaurant, and I will tell you that if any of my staff EVER treated a guest in my restaurant the way that Debbie treats the people she waits on, I would show that person to the back door on the spot! If there is no other restaurant to eat at while you are visiting Wildwood, MAKE SURE YOU REQUEST ANY SERVER EXCEPT FOR DEBBIE!

My husband and I just tried (2:30pm on a Thursday before Memorial Day) to eat a late lunch here and well, we walked out after 10 minutes. The hostess was very pleasant, but the server and service was non existent. We were sat in the outside cover patio area and the table next to us was the only other occupied table out there. Their server (a tall brunette with a ponytail and glasses) proceeded to walk by us THREE TIMES and not even look in our direction or acknowledge us. Even if she wasnt our server she still should have acknowledge the table!! We were prepared to spend a pretty significant amount on not just food but drinks and since we are here for the entire weekend I guarantee we would have been back. So, if you like being ignored, by all means grab a seat!

Food great. Beer selection awesome. Always had a great experience at lunch. First time we went for dinner and we were woefully disappointed. Host seated our boys before we got there then server was totally rude to them before we got there because entire party wasnt seated. She was rude to us too after we arrived but eventually sweetened up, probably to work on a better tip which had already been lost. Other serving and bus staff rude to patrons as they charged through the aisles - did not even acknowledge, make eye contact, or thank you if you yielded to them. Only polite person was the nice kid who came to bus our table as we were leaving. BOTTOM LINE: go at night or do take-out, but totally pass if you are going out for dinner.
