We love this place - its about a block from our summer house and has a nice casual atmosphere with reliably good food and service. They have burgers, really great pizza, sandwiches, pasta, soup and various reasonably priced entrees. I think they could add a few more appetizer options because surprisingly these are pretty limited. They also dont offer dessert which is not a problem but every once in awhile I wish I could get something. When were in town we eat here probably every other night if not more - you feel right at home and everyone is extremely friendly. Again, service is very efficient and food/drinks are reasonably priced (I appreciate that they dont charge 10 bucks for a mixed drink). We really enjoy this place.

For wife and I the Concord has been an Avalon tradition since 1986! For our Avalon weekend trips (of which we take about 12 a season), the Concord Café is always the Friday night choice. In fact theres never really a choice - its implied that this is where we will be on Friday night. Food is amazing (especially pizza and cheesesteaks) and my man Fran behind the bar never lets a glass go empty for more than a few seconds. Even in middle of summer when its super-busy we dont mind the wait cause it gives us chance to sit at bar and relax. A good number of TVs ensure that youll be able to see the nights game from wherever you sit.

My fiancee took me to the Concord Cafe for my birthday the food was great the pizzas are to die for the Italian Pork sandwich delicious also the Avalon Club Jimmys Favorite Steak I tell my family and friends when you are down the shore to stop by the Concord Cafe for dinner you wont be disappointed

Food tastes bland. Sure when it comes out the portions look nice and big, and it looks like it is going to be good, but it tastes like I am eating nothing. Just nothing. No flavor, no spice. If they cant even learn to mix a simple drink correctly, how in the hell are they going to make good food.

The food here is absolutely amazing. I have never had a bad meal. The only problem you will encounter is, because seating is limited, there can be a long wait at times. If you arrive before 5 PM its usually not an issue.
