As far as food goes around Hunterdon County, this would be considered good, but as far as what a REAL New Jersey diner, that we all grew up with it aint even close. Food is always over cooked, some of it to the point of it being inedible... there fresh baked goods always seem stale.. soups have no flavor. Some of the staff are very nice, and know whats good , and not so good. Other staff memebrs are just dumb as a box of rocks, and are just nasty to the point of being rude. The owners wife is always around, and goes out of her way to try and make things right. I would have to say that if it wasnt for her the place would have folded from lack of repete customers...

FOOD IS ALL YOUD EXPECT FROM A FAMILY RESTAURANT. ALWAYS A PLEASANT STAFF EXCEPT FOR THE LAST TIME THE SLIM BRUNETTE WITH THE ARM TATTOOS SHOULD BE AVOIDED AS SHE AVOIDED US. SHE WOULD DISAPPEAR FOR 20 MINUTES AT A TIME WHILE THE OTHER WAITRESS WAS ABLE TO MAKE 12 VARIOUS TABLE VISITS IN THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME OTHERWISE A GOOD RESTAURANT AND I COME FROM FANWOOD !! I HAVENT SEEN THE SEEDY TYPES MYSELF BUT, THE POLICE AT AN EATERY IS USUALLY A GOOD SIGN THEY KNOW WHATS GOOD

Calling all failures of hunterdon county, wanna see the best of the best?! head down the the country griddle! There you will find under age drinking, drug addicts, drug dealers and losers. All the kids who have failed at life end up at this bar and form a super group of fail. Service sucks by the way. Slow bartenders. Bad drinks. Expensive. Try and avoid all all costs. Thank you!!

This was a spur of the moment trip and we decided to book the day off and we were excited to get a room after calling literally three hours before we got there. We were welcomed with an Idaho Spud Bar and a friendly desk staff. Our room was adjacent from the bar, by the fire places.

i love this location just as much as the flemington location, bar inside or not.! me and a huge group of people go every sunday after church, all getting different things on the huge menu and loving every single thing! never a poor meal!! <3 love it and highly recommend it !

Best breakfast place in the area. My boyfriend and I go here every weekend. Management and employees are all super friendly! Great food too. Ive been to a couple other diners, but nothing compares.
