We (9 of us) arrived for dinner on a Saturday evening (6:30), we were the first ones there to dine inside. The environment was good, and simple, great views if dining outside. No air-conditioning inside. The waitress was not helpful and lacked basic information, couldnt split checks and then later informed us it was cash only. The entrees do not include anything other than the main meat (one shrimp kabob was just 5-6 shrimp...thats it....$9). The food came in very staggered and slow deliveries in "to go" containers. The chicken was bone dry and brisket was flavorless. The Mac and cheese was microwaved and took the longest. The only positives were the flavor of the pulled pork and the grilled shrimp. It also took a long time and we were told that the kitchen was swamped....though we were there first and it was empty until after we arrived. We ended up being last to leave. I would not suggest it to anyone unless your just getting pulled pork.

Food was way over priced and portions were small. Our food was not hot and didnt come right off the grill. The employees were extremely rude and one was handling a customers food with her bare hands after she was sticking the cooler. The manager or possible the owner was talking poorly about a customer and stated that they need to know how the restaurant business works. They state that their Mac n Cheese is very cheesy and it was all Mac n very little cheese. We drive by there all the time and it always smelled amazing. That being said we were very disappointed. We will NOT be going back there again!!

This was a very disappointing experience. The food was overpriced and below average in quality. The service was poor, although they had plenty of staff standing around and talking to each other. Food was served in Styrofoam containers. They were out of whiskey cake and cornbread. The boneless BBQ sandwich consisted of a piece of meat on a bun and nothing more. If you wanted lettuce and tomato on a sandwich, it is $2 extra (when available). The hotdog looked like it came out of the microwave. The mac and cheese was dried out.

Stumbled onto Back Bay BBQ on June 19, 2014. My wife and I were looking for an inexpensive kayak rental and found it here. $15 each for an hour paddling around the wetlands. The staff was helpful and fun. After the kayaking, decided to try out their pulled pork sandwich and ordered a side of fries - a huge basket of fries. We had an extremely satisfying visit. I finally gave the place a try and it was pretty good I had a half rack of ribs they were good the potato salad was really good as well stay away from the fries they were no good. But all in all pretty good its a tad expensive I had have a half rack of ribs fries and potato salad its was 21.40 for take out. But yes give it a try.

This place had some really good baby back ribs and their spicy BBQ sauce was awesome. The food is made to order and is a cash only business with an ATM on site. Service was excellent as well. For those who care all sauces are gluten free as well.

By far the worst BBQ I have ever had. How you are still open is besides me. The ribs were tough and not tender at all like chewing on a dog toy . The sauce is store bought just completely disappointed in this store
