Super nice place with nice service staff, really. Problem is the food. We had the nachos (we ordered the fries but the waitress brought out nachos and we said, eh, we like nachos as a rule anyway) that seemed like they were going to be good but once we got through the top two layers of chips, the rest of the chips were uncooked and soaked with oil which is a result of putting too many chips in a fryer basket causing them to not spread out and cook the whole batch. Next, I asked if the ribs were St. Louis or Baby Back. Waitress didnt know, no biggie, said shed find out. Came back quickly and assured me that they were baby back (I hate St. Louis personally). Guess what? They were in fact St. Louis so that was a waste of $XX.xx. My wife order pulled pork, she couldnt eat it because it was so dry. Smoked sides were underwhelming. The menu is really exciting and I wanted this place to be our new BBQ/Steak joint but the folks making the food have a lot to learn and room for improvement. I really hope this place can get some better kitchen staff to ensure that they stay open. Good luck.

Went to the Double S Smokehouse last night on May 13th and I ordered the grilled chicken Cesar salad.. my chicken came out raw. When I told the waitress my food is raw she stated they have only been open for 3 weeks and havent worked out the kinks yet. Which is a totally unacceptable excuse for serving raw food. My friend ordered a prime rib medium and it came out like it was seared for 2 mins on each side. It was beyond rare/raw. My fiancé ordered the Smokehouse sampler and woke up at 445 in he morning with food poisoning all day today. This place has terrible management and food skills. I will never go back again.

2 adults and a child. Wife and I ordered off the special menus, she got a shrimp dish and I got salmon in pasta and cream sauce. One appetizer. The food was good and the place looked great. Our waitress did a good job. The bill was just about $100 even, give or take. During our meal I had 2 Jack Dainiels on ice. Each cocktail was $13. $11 for the bourbon and $2 for ice. I find this kind of strange. Im sure we will go back at some point but Ive never been charged for ice in my life.

We ate here last weekend and we thought it was actually good. I had the sampler plate which helped know what I would order the next time. The table has a great assortment of sauces which we enjoyed. My husband got a rack of ribs and they are dry rub. He enjoyed them. The only thing I had which needs improvement is the mac and cheese. It was nothing special. We will go back again and in fact are ordering dinner from there this evening.

We went to this place to try it out. They have 3 other locations and this should be a smooth operation. THIS IS FAR FROM IT. When we walked in we were told we couldnt be seated till the other 2 in our party were there. Luckily they were only 5 minutes behind, and even after 7 people walked in, we still had a table. I ordered a side of garlic mashed potatoes, and they were cold and watery, we sent them back.

I have eaten at Double S in Warwick multiple times and have never had a bad meal.I enjoy the variety of side dishes and particularly like the smoked Brussels sprouts and smoked cauliflower The service has always been attentive and courteous. They also have a full bar but my favorite is their different sangrias.I recently had the watermelon sangria and it was awesome.

I just moved into town and was thrilled to find this place! Authentic, delicious BBQ, right down the street from my house. Im in heaven! Ive been there a bunch of times... the food has been consistently great and service, pleasant and attentive. If you find yourself near Warwick and are a fan of good BBQ, give this place a try. You wont be sorry.

We just ate there last weekend. My boyfriend had the Cheesesteak and I had the Cowboy. Cheesesteak is self explanatory! The Cowboy was stacked with brisket, american cheese, mac & cheese on grilled sourdough bread - So Yummy!! Had smoked cheddar cauliflower for my side and it was deeelish!!! Cant wait to go back!

I was visiting New York and was looking for a good place to eat. Not just a fancy plate with a veggie or two. Although this restaurant was a little further than expected, it hit the spot! The entire family was happy with both the friendly service and delicious foods. Will always drop by when visiting NY!

Buyer beware! Wanted to have some authentic BBQ. This place is far from that! Brisket was nothing but fat, collard greens were sour and overcooked, ribs have no flavor, and pulled chicken tasted like overcooked mush! You should really be able to give zero stars. We definitely wont be back.

Went for lunch to try the new place out. Space was terrific, very friendly staff and food was terrific. Pulled pork sandwich, blt, and sides..all good. I especially liked the selection of different sauces on the table.

Very friendly staff. All of the meats had a unique rub and flavor. Nothing was overwhelmingly smokey or over seasoned- JUST right! And the sauces are each excellent! The sides were actually my favorite part, so good.

Staff was very friendly, food was all dry and not worth the money, pulled pork and pulled chicken was flavorless, brisket was just dry and fatty. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
