This was the most delicious fantastic awesome place you will ever eat at for southern hone cooked food. The ribs both pork and beef slid of the bone. The chicken was fantastic. Wings were heaven as were the ribs. Every appetizer every side dish was made by a master chef. The corn bread which is my favorite was unbelievably incredible. We were a party of 6 and the owner Joe and Lewis and Joes father in law made us family. They told us amazing stories about themselves, their history and we all just were awe. 5 stars is just not enough to really describe how amazing the food and the people were. It is truly worth going and experiencing over and over again this authentic restaurant. BTW all the women were given roses. We didnt just say goodbye we hugged everyone. This just might be our weekly fix. You will not be disappointed.

This is real food. Period. You cant go wrong getting a meal from this place. I wanted to try the ribs but came in too early. I opted for the brisket instead and wasnt disappointed. It is cooked to perfection with a sweet and smokey sauce. A lot of BBQ places do a decent job with the meat but often their sides are mediocre. Not here though, the Mac n cheese, green beans and cornbread were equally tasty. Portion sizes are proper and once again, all was delicious. Cant wait to come back for the ribs. Give these guys a shot, youll be back.

Let me tell you, the smile on my fathers face while chowing down was priceless. Read about this place online and decided dad likes BBQ lets give it a try. Got the chopped pork, brisket, collards, clam strips, ribs and a few other things and everything was excellent. Weve eaten BBQ all over the south and this is such an excellent reminder of the quality flavor and friendliness I always associate with BBQ. Will definitely be back soon. Wish I could rate them higher

The customer service was great. My hubby and daughter both became ill after we left. With the "runs" .I dont like giving you a bad review.but we pinpointed it to the potato salad..because I did not get ill ..and I did not eat the salad. Being a cook myself ..I know you have to be careful with the shelf life of salads with mayo and onions in them. Sorry we wont ever be returning. Tab was $60.00..not worth the trip or the "RUNS"

Finally got to experience this place and have to say it earned its five stars from its friendly staff to their bone sucking sauce and ribs. Had the platter so my half rack of pork ribs came with my choice of Mac and cheese, collard greens and cornbread. My hubby had the whiting platter and opted for seasoned fries and coleslaw, Atmosphere warm and friendly. Outside tables but limited seating inside, WILL be back.

An Absolute Wonderful Restaurant to visit. The Gentleman their were so Kind and Courteous while we ate our meal......it was a pleasant experience. The in/outdoor restaurants BBQ was tender, to where each bite melts in your mouth with seasoning and flavor. Plus the Greens, Coleslaw, Corn and Mac & Cheese.... ooooohhhh man DELICIOUS!!! I tried my best to eat All of my Ribs ;)

This place is absolutely delicious!! Real ribs, smoked out real Southern style! They definitely beat out the places in Somers Point and Margate! BYO, friendly family and staff, large portions (see my image of leftovers for breakfast ;-), outdoor and indoor seating, street parking. Go! So many good options, you cant go wrong here!

The meat is so tender and flavorful! The cornbread and BBQ pork sandwich was served with their house BBQ sauce and coleslaw. The sweet cornbread with the savory meat and tang of the slaw and sauce was a perfect flavor combination. The staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly, as well. We look forward to going back!

Best BBQ in South Jersey hands down. The customer service here is amazing. They really take the time and effort to make sure their customers are valued. Only downside I can think of is location due to no parking lot of their own. Other than that its worth checking out this mom & pop shop.

First time there today. Best beef ribs I ever had!!! Literally, you pick up the bone and the delicious, tender meat just falls off. The owner Joseph is friendly and I cant wait to go back!!! Try it, we need to support our local businesses.

Delicious BBQ. They also had yummy southern desserts. Definitely give them a try. Parking is a bit difficult so make sure you park on the side street not the convenience store next door or you will be towed.

Ordered fried whiting, collards and mac & cheese. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is friendly. Outdoor seating is available.

My husband ordered pulled pork and the brisket. Everything was amazing and the sides were great! Hes from Georgia as well and hes had his fair share of good BBQ. We will be back!
