We went there because there are just two options for Korean restaurants nearby. Next time we should try the other one. The service there is good. I mean two waitresses who served us responded very fast. Thats what we appreciated. The food there is just okay, cannot be compared with restaurants in Fort Lee or NYCs Korean town at all, not to mention the very tasty one and of course my favorite--BCD. This disappointed me. There is something I need to remind you if you dont speak Korean: make sure the waitresses understand you clearly in English when ordering. We, two persons, ordered one BBQ at $25.99 and one tofu soup at $10.99. When it came to the check, it showed two BBQ (at $25.99*2) and one tofu soup at $10.99. At beginning, we thought they mistakenly double input the same BBQ into the computer. Then, the answer was the waitress who took our order thought we ordered two BBQ. That was very interesting, because we never said two this word at all when we ordered our meal, and also when the BBQ was served there was only ONE plate, how could we know thats TWO orders and exactly the same BBQ in ONE plate?? Their only words were you ate two. Yes, of course we paid the amount for two but exactly the same BBQ($25.99*2) + one tofu soup ($10.99)+ tax+ decent tips. I am not complaining, but honestly the feeling about the whole experience is not positive because of the neither-good-or-bad food and the messed-up order.

Food is awesome and they often have Groupons. Prices seemed high at first for lunch items ($14-$18) but its actually a good value because I always get AT LEAST two meals out of it, sometimes three. Comes with all the tasty little side dishes. Set up with the grills in the middle of the table and everything and looks like a fun place for a small group. Im also told by my Korean friends that the food is really authentic. But they are not careful with takeout orders. Have ordered takeout twice and once I was missing one little thing - no big deal - but the second time they gave me entirely the wrong meal. It was also a less expensive meal than what I ordered and with all the little containers in the bag I couldnt check until I got back to the office. I had to wait 15 minutes for it, after I took 15 minutes to get there after ordering. It was like they forgot about the order. So food is 5 stars, but poor service really put a bad taste in my mouth. Perhaps better if youre dining in.

I used to go to Fort Lee/Hackensack area for Korean food, but after moving to Sussex county it became difficult to do the same w/out long distance drives. Keo Ku was the best replacement wed found for real Korean food. Yook Hwe (steak tartar with raw egg/apple slices) was heavenly - although you have to like raw food to order that. Other standard choices like Soon Tofu (Tofu Soup), Jae Yook GopBol Bi Bim Bab (spicy pork, veggies over rice in hot stone bowl) and Pajun (Scallion Pancake) were nice choices for lunch. It is typical Korean fare with lots of Koreans eating there. Im looking forward to the BBQ & the Hotpots (in winter) in future visits.

In the area, there arent many choices for Korean food, which led to the decision to dine at Keo Ku. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, especially since it was also exceptionally busy. Despite the volume of customers, I was surprised to find that the food was every bit of ordinary. The spicy tofu was oily, bubbling hot, but not flavorful. Since we only ordered one portion of beef, the bulgogi was cooked in the kitchen instead of on a grill at the table. It came out tough, slightly overdone, and similar to the tofu dish that preceded it, lacking flavor. It was $42 for two entrees, which is better spent elsewhere.

If your looking for authentic Korean BBQ and not willing to drive all the way to Bergen county or New York this is the place for you. Prices are reasonable and the service was fantastic. The waitresses were very helpful in showing us how to eat everything traditionally and very informative. I recommend this place to all, just make sure you make a reservation because they can get very busy especially on weekends. Im glad I found this hidden gem and will be returning for sure.

My husband and I tried this restaurant last week and enjoyed it quite a bit. We ordered two barbeque dishes, the bugogi and a chicken barbeque. The bulgogi was fantastic, very tender and flavorful. The only reason I did not give this restaurant 5 stars was that they overcooked the chicken and it was a bit burnt and did not have much flavor. However, the appetizers were good and the bulgogi was good so we will definitely be coming back again.

The waitress was really pushy. My friends and I wanted to eat kbbq for lunch. If we let her have her way, we would have paid $300 for lunch! The portion of meat is very small for $30 a plate. Unless I want to be pushed into buying an expensive meal, Im not going back again. I am upset that they make us feel so uncomfortable. They wouldnt take no for an answer.

Loved the place. I am planning on put it on our favorites list. Side dishes are fresh and tasty and portions are pretty big. Service was great. Our waitress was always ready to help us and if she wasnt available at the moment some other staff will take care of us. I Have not complains at all place is perfectly clean

I would say their specialty is the beef, jumulleok, but they do a good job with the other menus like the sea food pancake, sea-bream, sweet and sour chicken. Worth trying for traditional Korean meat dishes. I have pretty high standards when it comes to Korean food and I was pleased with what I got and was served fast.

I thought that lunch was little bit pricey. Side dishes were salty to me. For the service nothing to brag about. They didnt come check on me if i need more side dish or just ask if food that i order is ok things like that. I ordered beef soup was good. For dinner, i think it is too rich for our blood!

More than we expected, both in quality and quantity. Our server (and table BBQ expert) seemed very helpful, but a heavy accent made it a little difficult. But overall, very enjoyable and we expect to return.

They are very races to african American, and also rude, I wouldnt suggest anyone to go to that restaurant. The food is horrible. Be aware if you going there, they would lecture you base on your tips.

Im sorry. The old staff was more decent. The food here was just ok. The old staff had a more colorful menu. I just liked having to collaborate to have fun. The food was ok. It was just the staff.

Its good Korean food and they are very helpful for those of us not Korean and need help. You have to be open to trying different foods. You will not find American food here.
