Dont trust the posted hours, they stop seating people at 9:30, so when I got there at 9:48, they told me that they were cleaning up. People were still inside eating and they were taking food away. The open sign was still on and the hours posted dont reflect this policy, and I told the person in the front that, but he replied that "we close at 10:30" as an excuse for not letting people in an hour before closing, as he was literally counting out the cash register. Ive eaten here before, and it was excellent, but this kind of service tends to make customers reconsider their options. Ive worked in food service and retail, and you dont stop serving paying customers until you are closed. When I walked out he turned the open sign off, still before 10pm.

Only worth going for lunch prices. Wouldnt pay dinner prices for this place. Taste was mediocre. Not bad but not great. Cold fries side dishes like dumplings, pancake, fried mushrooms, and fried mozzarella sticks. Meat must change from time to time or day to day because there was no shrimp like I saw in a different photo. There were no beef short ribs. Everything, including sides, rice, soups, and ice cream are self serve. Fair assortment of dishes available. Servers do bring sample plates of sides and dips to give instructions how to make meat lettuce wraps to non-Koreans. Also came by with sample bibimbop. Servers cook meat for you and cut the meat. They come often enough to change grills and offer refills.

What is good: Buffet, good dishes, steamed egg served, the quality of meat is great. Waiters help you with BBQ. Clean. What is not good: This is not Korean BBQ but American style Korean BBQ except their sauces and tea. -1 star Steamed egg and veges are only one serve per table, which is hard to share. Food easily become over cooked and even carbonized, while you have to manually take them off the fire and get a plate to put them - while the waiters are actually free, they just watch your meat becoming some carbon-like stuff. -1 star. In conclusion, if you come to there on Thursday night, every ones cost is around $35+ plus the tips. Its not a suitable price considered its service and food provided. -1 star

Ive dined here many times. Its worth to go out of your way to come here to feast on all the marinated meats, squid, shrimp, chicken. Theres also other cooked items such as miso, seaweed soups, rice porridge, korean potato noodle, chicken wings, fried fish and chicken cutlets. Theres also plenty of kimchis like cucumber, cabbage, and daicon The staff always come around to help you cut your meats into bite size pieces and to refill your water. Its BYOB which is another big +. Weekend (fri-Sun) price for dinner is $33. Theres plenty of parking in the strip mall. H-mart is right next to it. Theres ice cream for dessert but you can pick it up at the French place nearby Paris Baguette.

The first time we ate here, the price per person was $18 dollars each. The second time we ate there, it was $37 each! Thats a ridiculous price. No one showed us the sign which described the prices which was on the entrance on the right side of the wall, high up. Overall, the best and cheapest time to eat here will be on the weekdays during lunch times! Therefore, the food was delicious the service was perfect and very clean.

All you can eat Korean barbecue! Theres a great variety of meats and some seafood along with side dishes for those not so keen on the barbecue. The staff is very attentive and friendly especially if you dont know how to cook the meats. They regularly change grills for you, serve water and check on your food. The restaurant is very clean and presentable and overall a great place for many occasions.

Just limited number of foods and very expensive. The waiters are rude. I know that when i eat i have to give tips. But waiters were very very smart or they thought me that i am blind or whatever they were showing me the space to write tipS? Why did they do that to me? May be they thought i am indian. And I AM NOT EVEN INDIAN.SO RACIST PEOPLE.NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN

Neat idea, you pick your food and grill it right at the table. They had some cool stuff Ive never eaten before. Ive never been to a Korean BBQ, but I would be open to trying another one. Only problem I had with the place is that the raw meat is just sitting out in the open, not sure how sanitary that is. I just made sure to cook all of the meat throughly.

As a person who spent time in LA eating amazing all you can eat Korean BBQ, Picnic garden is a slap in the face. Not only is it self serve so people hog the better stuff, but the meat quality and sides are quite poor. I guess for people who havent tried LA Korean BBQ scene, this place is nice because it is ayce, but ignorance doesnt qualify for excellence.

the food was great, except our waiter was annoying. he was over complicating things and when asking our table for the ages, he was confusing us all and wasnt clear to us. we ended up spending 10 minutes just to explain to him that there were 5 thirteen year olds and 4 three-ten year olds. not the best, but the food was awesome

Been going here for a long time now, pretty expensive but its worth it if you go for dinner and can eat a lot. Usually issues grabbing the Kalbi at busy times but there are moments where theyll restock and no one is there so its free grabs. Besides that issue of restock times, this place is great to eat, chill and relax.

Picnic Gardens is the same as the other locations. Lunch is a little more affordable but dinner is $29.99 per person. AYCE but if you dont want to stuff yourself silly and you want to spend less just go to one of the other restaurants in the same shopping center. Plenty of good Asian food here.

Pretty good place. Kimchi was spicy but not overwhelmingly so allowing you to spice it up to your taste, and the meats were nicely marinated both spicy and savory. Had a nice selection of meats as well, everything from beef, chicken, squid, and pork belly, to more obscure cuts like intestine.

Load up all your raw marinated beef, spicy squid, and pork belly at the buffet table and bring it to the gas fired grill right at your table. If you have a hearty appetite and find yourself just north of the GWB in NJ, get your unlimited barbeque fix at Picnic Gardens.

33 dolars per person for lunch and 17 per person earlier in the day. Is hard to know the price but theres a board right next to the entrance with the prices wich i missed. But the food is amazing the service is great and theres plenty of meat and sefood too eat.

Avg food, a bit expensive. They need to either bring out more of their Kalbi or ask people to be more considerate. Can have a really bad experience if you go at the same time as some heavy hitters and they take all the Kalbi before anyone else can get any.

I like this place because its very specious, and there is a grill on each table where you can grill your own meat and vegetables that you pick yourself at the buffet, there is also selection of soups, salads and ice creams for desert.
