They were very nasty and unprofessional. I work as a catering manager for Hyatt Hotels & Resort, and my standards of service is very high for my company and the way we talk and treat customers, this company was recommended to me for our catering service, by one of my staff member who has also brought me samples of their items and I thought it was delicious, delicious indeed but definitely left a nasty taste in my mouth with their first bad impression on me. I had to question their reliability, and attentiveness to details. I went there today 1/22/12 at around 2:45pm with my work colleague, it was quite busy and dysfunctional in there no system or method to the madness they had in there, I came to place an order for cannolis, napoleons , and chocolate mousse tarts, each order I needed 300 of each item to cater for an wedding of 300 people in my hotel. I went to the counter to ask for placing the order, out of no where the tall blond or brunett girl asked did you order at the register? I said no then she immediately yelled at me in an unprofessional manner, telling me "you need to go to the register and wait, and pay!" I did not even get a word in, as to why i am here, shocked as I was, with her tone of voice, and unprofessionalism I proceeded to the exit door, my few thousands of dollars in orders as well as the option to hold a contract to cater my company business went out the door with me as well. After a few mins of searching the area i ended up giving my business to the raritan bakery, who had only 1 prson working at the counter, and she acknowledge me immediately and asked if i needed assistance, and who helped me immediately and answered my questions, and wallah! they instantly had my $3400 buck in orders. Word of wisdom to your business, step up service, dont assume you customers budget because the simplest person you get can be looking for thousand of dollars in orders. BTW, tried calling to speak to the manager who was almost never available, but its is a family business so Im sure everyone who works there is a family member so thats useless.

I travel 45 minutes to get to the Famous Randazzos and its worth the trip every single time. I absolutely adore this place and have since I was a kid. First and foremost, lets talk about those heroes. The sandwich Gods from the Italian heavens above have shined their savory lights upon the smorgasbord that is packed into Randazzos heroes. Even the most basic sandwiches (chicken parmigiana, Italian hoagie, Eggplant parmigiana, etc) are so above and beyond your average hero. While I usually enjoy a classic Chicken Parm hero, today I went with Chicken Marsala with fresh mozzarella. To say it was a good choice is an understatement. The Marsala sauce was great - it was neither too overpowering nor runny. The consistency was perfect and there was a generous amount of mushrooms with the chicken. I may have found a new favorite. If youre not a hero person, youre not only bizarre, but also lucky enough that Randazzos has an amazing deli selection: antipasto, rice balls, meat balls, penne alla vodka, lasagna, all that jazz. In my 21 years, Ive tried pretty much everything from their deli and I can confidently say that Ive never been disappointed. For your sweet tooth, take a look at their baked goods. Tons of delicious cookie choices. Cannoli cheesecake. Need I say more?

I would never go back there again. And I live very close and have been going there for years ,but unfortunately I saw with my own eyes, the man bagging my breakfast sandwiches ,accidentally leave the insides of my breakfast sandwiches fall out of the roll and onto the counter. He simply just reached down with his bare hands and just threw the stuff right back onto the roll as if nothing had happened and proceeded to wrap it up and give it to me. I confronted him about it and he just bowed his head and was speachless. I had already paid for my items so I immediately just refused the food and asked for a refund,in which they did give back voluntarily. I can only imagine what must happen in the back room at the bakery that goes unseen. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.

I went in and saw an Éclair Pretzel cake and bought it. They dont know what éclair custard cream is. It was just thick white cream and the éclair cake was kind of stale. You can see the edges of the cream were a little yellow meaning it was stale as well. I bought this cake 2 weeks ago and it was good but now I guess the second time around it is different than the first time. Different cream and stale but called it the same. I also bought 3 napoleon cakes and it had the same kind of cream and they seemed stale too. The cream should be like a creamy custard kind and not just plain white cream. I had these when I was a kid and remember the creamy custard. These did not even come close to that...not returning to this stale place.

I haven`t tried their deli-subs,pastries or cakes,as of yet.But I have had their cookies and I must say they were the best I`ve ever had!I am quite a cake snob and my feeling is that you can`t really find an excellent cake ANYWHERE THESE DAYS!So ,when I do try their cakes, they will be reviewed by a real cake fanatic, who rues the day when most bakeries began using confectionary sugar and margarine, instead of the regular sugar and butter. As for Bavarian creams, you probably need to travel to Germany, unfortunately.I will try their cakes soon and believe me, there wil be no tougher critic, I can assure you!But I was amazed at how good their cookies tasted.

Excellent, went there by chance one day. Their cannolis are amazing. Today I happened to ride by there while picking up a client and thinking that I was going to go back there and I ended up picking my client up on Raritan Road who lived right next door to a pastry shop that seemed to have had the same items that Randazzos had. I happened to say something and the lady in line behind me advised me that this was the same place. Well I purchased my items and as I was leaving the store I happened to see this turnover with crumb on it. Well to my surprise it was an apple turnover good lord Randazzos leave me alone, I loved it , you guys get 10 stars.

Ordered a half of sheet cannoli cake. When I was ordering the cake I was asked if I wanted it dipped in rum. I said no. I had a pick up time of 5:30pm on Sunday. After arriving promptly at 5:30pm I had to wait 15 minutes for them to finish...I was presented with a closed box and left asap as I was away from the celebration longer than anticipated. When I took the cake out to put the candles on I noticed a few things...they spekkwd her name Brittamy instead of Brittany and the top was not smooth...ok fine...sang HB cut the cake served everyone I get a piece...bam...dipped in rum...not happy at all...for $65. I do expect to get what I ordered.
