SO SO awesome!!! I went there for the first time in January and LOVED it, the new Owner, Erin, is awesome! they made me a cake for a graduation and not only was it so beautiful, but I can honestly say it was the best tasting cake Ive ever had. They have a bunch of options of what type of cake, filling, and frosting and they helped me choose. Amazing quality, Ill be back.

Chocolate, maple mocha cake was possibly the best cake I have ever had! My family agrees. Each bite was a piece of heaven. Also, the staff are extremely polite and kind. Plan to order cupcakes for my granddaughters birthday next month! Yum

Love this bakery!! Their baked goods are reminiscent of how my grandma would make. Delectable quality and not overly sugared down like chain baked goods. It is wonderful to have an intimate bakery as Dessert Plate in downtown Somerville!!

Excellent bakery! The cookies are the best in this whole region! At Christmas time, absolutely stop by for some gingerbread men - nice (sweet) and naughty (spicy with cayenne powder)!! Yummy and fun!

Used to go here years ago, they had the best cookies around. Stopped in today, and the cookies were awful. Had a much smaller selection and every one I tried tasted stale and off. Never again.

The food is all made from scratch. They have a project farm where you invest in the farm and then reap from the harvest. Their double chocolate chip cookies are worth the money.
