Went to Neptune Diner for a early dinner this evening. We were early and only one other group was being served. Right off our waitress forgot my friends water and then brought his salad smothered in dressing when he had asked for dressing on the side. Going by the "Neptune" name we assumed seafood was their specialty. Wrong!!!! We both had different seafood combo platters ($20 each or more). All of the seafood tasted old, especially the scallops and squid. Even the bread was like warmed day old - not fresh. The baked potatoes hard and not properly cooked. We could not eat any of the seafood. Worse thing was that the waitress lied to us about how the seadfood had all been delivered fresh the day before and was hand breaded. Hogwash!!! The manager did give us free deserts which we took to go. They were also not fresh. Needless to say - do not go, if you dou go, stay away from the seafood.

This is a great place. The first thing I noticed was how clean this place is. The food was well made with noticeably fresh ingredients and fully satisfied my pallate. The staff was very attentive and friendly in an affectionately polite tone. The atmosphere was warm and had a rustic feel. It appears to me to be a classy establishment run professionally. I shall keep this on my top list of places to eat well at affordable prices.

7-17-15. My first and last time eating here. $8.75 for an omelette, $3.75 for 2 pieces of rock hard crispy bacon and 1 tasteless sausage link. $1.75 for a cup of hot tea then she charged me $1.75 for a tea "to go". $17.66 + tip for a terrible breakfast. Ive eaten at a ton of diners in my years of travel and this one is the worst. Terrible.

My go-to diner for the best spinach pie in the area. Order the appetizer, as it is massive. This is a favorite when we are visiting the Hudson Valley. Food is always good with large selection and the staff is very courteous. They have a salad bar, but it is just adequate. Great breakfasts and lunch and nice place to meet with friends.

They seated our party of 12 extremely fast without knowing we were coming. Got our drinks out and took our orders then the food came out fast and hot. The staff was incredibly efficient! Great atmosphere and great food at great prices! I would eat here again.

Restrooms are clean. Service was OK. Food... Not that great. I had Boston Scrod. Flavourless. Girlfriend had a Caesar. Made with Romain, dressing and croutons. That was it. No Parmesan or bacon bits. Very cheep. I wouldnt eat here again...

Called 20 min prior to closing ordered 3 cheeseburger deluxe s with very confusing request not only did they accept the order so close to quitting time but they also got it perfectly and all three burgers were excellent. Highly recommend!!!

Very relaxed, simple diner with friendly people. Some of the specialty dishes lack that bit of extra flavor but the staples are all there and are more than satisfying. It is our go-to local diner. Prices are on par with every other diner.

Old. Tired. Out of date diner. I think they have a loyal following of older people who have probably been going here for years. I went here once. I thought maybe a "dive" but awesome food? It isnt. I prefer Red Line Diner in Fishkill NY

Food was pretty darn good. Waitresses were super weird and the host was weirder. Neptune Diner looks like it hasnt been renovated since the 60s, which is cool and lame at the same time. Coffee is watered down too.
