Food and beer were great! Having a couple of drunk irish guys attempt to pick fights with me by doing the accidental beer slosh (ps - dont try this against sober people, we can see it coming a mile away) because they were upset that the girl they were eyeing was my fiance...not so hot. Also this is the only place in Hackensack Ive gone drinking where a man has come slurring up to me either asking for or trying to sell me crystal meth. Couldnt understand him. That was unique! So one star for the food, another for the beer, and at least one for the sheer chutzpah of the local drunks.

I wont be mean on the stars, but come here for drinks, not for the food. Its a nice lil local pub with an out door patio. From a food perspective, it comes out of a bag and goes into a fryer. So dont come with high expectations of quality. It would make a good destination for the restaurant impossible show.

Ive been coming here for years. Always, without a doubt, the friendliest place you could ask to grab a drink. Prices are beyond reasonable. Especially in the money-grab NJ bar scene. One drink here would cost me 3-4x down the steet. Forgettaboutit!

Go there for food. The fish and chips are immaculate! Have it with a Harp or a Guinness, and you may break into tears, its so good.
