Beware, this place skims credit card info. Ate there yesterday mid afternoon. Only time my card left my sight all day. Shortly after we paid, my card was run in Brooklyn for $100. Good thing my bank had good security and blocked the transaction because theres no way I could have physically made it to Brooklyn that fast. There were two waiter/servers, guy and girl. We had the guy and it wasnt busy. Thought it was strange that the girl handled the payment when we had the guy the whole time. She seemed eager to take our payment, especially since it wasnt that busy. She hovered when we were finishing, I now think so she could scoop in and handle our payment. Too bad, we liked the place until I found out what happened from my bank. Hope they are prosecuted.

Stopped in here late one evening to grab a bite. At first look, we thought it was a little loud and more of a bar atmosphere. However, when we were led to a table in the back, we realized that it was a quaint and somewhat quiet place. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I had the shepards pie, which was very tasty. My husband had the chicken pot pie. He wasnt a fan of the pastry on top, but enjoyed the filling. The prices are very reasonable. It was actually the cheapest meal we had in the city. But was definitely one of the tastiest. We will definitely stop back in here, the next time we are in the area.

When you walk into a bar how long do you expect to wait before a bartender takes your order? Here the longest Ive ever waited is about 90 seconds. I travel for a living and I can honesty say this is one of the best bars in the country. Bar tenders are friendly, food is good, and it is almost impossible to finish your drink and not have a refill in front of you. These guys take their craft seriously. You can wander around NYC and there are lots of bars for twice the cost that you have to flag down the bartender for another drink. Not here. Seriously: you will not be disappointed.

The other reviews are so dated... Went on a Friday. Food was OK and atmosphere pleasant. However, the tall, blonde waitress was impossibly rude. The pub did not have what we wanted (black Russian), so she asked us how wed like our drinks made. When we took longer than she liked to decide, she snapped loud and clear: "You have to know the ingredients in your drinks. Otherwise, you cant order it." Her attitude was extremely unpleasant and uncalled for. I and my friends will never go back because of the service.

Twins is a modest pub-style watering hole over on 9th Ave, just west of Penn Station. I tend to go there to pregame for events at MSG or Hammerstein b/c it doesnt get as insanely crowded as some of the more obvious traps do. The bar is up front and there are a few booths and tables in the back, but its not a large space. Ive had their food a couple times, ranging from wings and chicken fingers, to panini and steak sandwiches. Everything has been surprisingly good, and fast.

Bad customers service, even after I brought about 15 people in. They werent happy about it, complaining about the number of parties present, and clearly stated I can go somewhere else next time if I wasnt hapoy with the service. The waitress was rude. I suggest you all take her advice "there is plenty of other Irish pubs around the Garden" and go somewhere else.

Not the worst bar in the world but the bartenders are a little rough. I walked a guy outside because he wasnt looking too well. He wound up getting sick and the barman came outside and started yelling at me because I didnt walk him far enough from the bar. I was just trying to help this kid.

A low key pub that is unassuming and feels like a good place for locals, its a great place to visit after work and have a drink (or food) with your friends. Plenty of places to sit, and the long, narrow bar and restaurant is well kept. Clean, with friendly waitstaff!

Came by for a quick Irish coffee and they had no coffee on the pot at 10pm on a Saturday. Strange. Bartender seemed a little annoyed but she was good at getting us drinks so ya cant complain.

Basic pub food, basic beer selection with a couple Belgians thrown on top. Easier place to sit and have talks with friends over drinks than a lot of other places in the area.

Bangers and mash are spot on. Paired with a well-poured Guinness and you cant go wrong. Service is quick and friendly plus theres lots of tvs to find your game!

Typical dive bar with typical Irish beers on tap. They get points for actually being nice to people on St. Pattys day and not jacking up the drink prices.

The bar itself is fine, but a lot of drunk losers seem to gravitate to that place.
