I have been unhappy with the service at this restaurant for quite a while, but went there in spite of it because my son liked the food. Lately however, the food has been mediocre at best, and after todays experience, we will NEVER be back! My son called me on a whim to do lunch (after I had already eaten), but I decided to accompany him anyway. He ordered a lunch special and because I had already had lunch, I only ordered a soup. To my surprise, they would not serve me because lunch orders have to cost $8.00 or more! It should not have come as such a shock, since another time I was there and wasnt ordering, I was told I couldnt share my sons lunch (as they took the utensils off the table to ensure that I didnt!) The manner in which customers are treated is absolutely appalling! I have never posted a review, good or bad or indifferent on any website, however, I feel that this one is warranted. Hopefully I can spare someone the aggravation of this sort of dining experience.

Used to be great food has gone down hill, I am a long time customer who has become dissatified. One note if you order to go the portions are larger plus no tipping is needed saving you money. BTW: Never order seafood there, some really stinky product. My last trip there I just ordered a $3.50 wonton soup to go, was charged $4.00, I quesioned the tax the owner frowned and gave me a quarter back. I asked for a reciept, she said if you do not trust me go somewhere else...wow what attitude, she ust had attempted to overcharge me...no I do not trust her. I notice that most of the time they do not ring up orders and I do question if they are reporting the cash sales to the state. I will be following up with the State of NJ taxation dept to suggest an investigation.

Very poor customer service. Three times we have ordered from them, and they have made mistakes with our orders. I had to make two trips for the first to orders I made in person. They are very rude people. I have been in the customer service profession for 25+years. The woman who took my order was to busy playing her "Mahjong" game on her iPad. I do not live around the corner. I takes me at least 25 minutes depending on traffic to get there. I have spoken to the manager, she could have cared less. Not even to credit me for their discrepancy. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GIVE THEM BUSINESS!!!!

I just moved here from California and I am used to excellent Chinese food. I was absolutely delighted to find The Seasons Chinese Restaurant, after many trials at various Chinese take-out joints. The food was tasty and high quality, the atmosphere was quiet, the service was fast, and the staff was friendly. I thought the prices were very reasonable (and I paid full price for my entrees, though they offer a lunch-time special.) I cant vouch for the other reviewers that didnt have a good experience-- I cant wait to go back. What a relief from the take-out places!!!

I love Seasons food..It is fresh a d authentic; however the management leaves much to be desired. My husband and I have been going here for many years; but recently we went for lunch and arrived at 2:50pm and the lunch period ended at 3. Their lunch time is from 11-3. When we said we were there for lunch, the woman whom I believe is the owner said no and shooed us toward the door. I couldnt believe how rude she was. Its a shame because we really enjoy the food, but their rude behavior will probably prevent us from going back.

We havent been back for a long time; used to go there all the time. The owner once made a very rude comment to me. Another time, a friend needed to go to the ATM machine to get money and she wouldnt let her leave unless she left her child there!!! First of all, I know my friend should have just walked out (were not friends anymore) but that was an OUTRAGEOUS request; something I have never heard before or since. Stay away from this place. A real stinker!!

The food was sooo salty that it was inedible. After just a few bites my tongue felt tingly for hours. The women insisted she have the meal remade even tough I told her I did not want it anymore. I also felt very rushed. They told me they were closing soon and asked me for me order before I even sat down. It was a very uncomfortable experience that cost me $35 for just a few bites.

The food was good. I would rate the food a 5. The service, on the other hand, sucked. They have no customer service skills. Not once did they ask was everything alright. We asked for extra napkins and we were given one each. Can soda was warm but accompanied by a cup of ice.

This is our favorite local place to get Chinese take out. Its definitely above average and not as greasy as most places. They also make scallion pancakes, which is awesome (lots of places dont because it takes too long). Weve never been disappointed.

On a slow night they rip you off they add and charge you prices for the food that is not the true price so be careful make sure that you know how much everything costs because they all are about making money and they are greedy Chinese people

Small chicken noodle soup cost me $3!! It was not very good and definetly not worth the 3 bucks. The guy brings me my bag with the soup in it and I had to ask four times for a spoon. He kept telling me he already gave me a fork, for soup?
