Firstly let me start by saying I really was expecting much more out of this place but unfortunately I was very disappointed. The reason I am giving this a 2 stars instead of one is because the place is decorated very nicely and feels very welcoming, and two because the staff was very nice and professional despite the following issues. Upon pulling up to the place you see they have valet parking, in my eyes most the time thats going to indicate that its gonna be a pricey but good meal, sadly it was only pricey. We decided to sit at the bar because the tables were filled and it was about a 30-45 minute wait and didnt feel like waiting so the bar was fine by us. The bartender was very nice, she started us off with some chips and salsa the norm for most tex-mex places in the area. Now this is my first problem, there is about 4-5 tex-mex/Spanish style restaurants in the area and they all serve warm fresh chips. These chips tasted store bought straight out of a plastic bag from the super market. I would be willing to forgive this had the salsa(s) been good, however they fell flat as well. The chips were accompanied by 3 salsas, that were more like sauces then salsa. The salsas fell flat for flavor, like they were missing something to excite them. I couldnt tell if they were made in house or prepackaged but they didnt taste fresh. Next my girlfriend order a $10 margarita that was served in a huge 16oz glass, which would have been great had the drink been made with more then just 1 1/2oz of alcohol. And I know that was all that was used because I saw the bartender pour into a jigger to measure it out. So the margarita turned out to be 95% sweet/sour mix and 5% alcohol. I am a very light drinker myself, my girlfriend is the opposite and normally I can detect the slight presents of alcohol but in this you dont taste any. If they had used fresh ingredients and used 3oz of booze this might have turned out better. Next onto the entrees that we were really hoping despite the other issues were good food and we were let down. This was the biggest disappointment for us. Let me start with what I got. I happen to be a vegetarian but most places have at least 1 or 2 items to accommodate that, and Im not picky when it comes to eating out. However, with that said when I order an item that says "Vegetarian" I expect not to see any meat on the plate. Well I ordered the vegetarian enchiladas and what was on my plate black beans with chunks of beef in with them. Now to me it seems obvious if someone orders an item that says Vegetarian you would think that all the items that come on the plate would be vegetarian. This was a disappointment but I decided to eat around the beans which was fine by me but the enchiladas were extremely dry. The filling was a carrot and some other veggies mash but it was very dry. Hell, i would have been fine with some sauted onions and peppers and called it a day. They would have been decent had they had some kind of sauce. To me enchiladas are usually smoothered in a red sauce with cheese. Neither of which were present. Instead what was on the plate was black beans which I couldnt eat, some rice which was ok, but it was kind of mushy and not fluffy the way rice should be, some guacamole which was ok, I prefer my guac to be the chunky kind and this was a smooth saucy kind which almost makes me think its prepackaged of some sort it had no texture. There was also this corn beard type thing on the plate, I dont know quiet how to describe it other then "sweet stuffing". This had some decent flavor to it, but was dry and since the enchiladas were dry it only made it worse. I had more to write but I hit the limit on it lol

This place is absolutely terrible. All of the food was terribly greasy and tasteless. To start off we never recieved the chips that everyone else had received after being seated.. which made us feel very mistreated. The empanadas were so over cooked and filled with grease that I actually burnt my mouth from the burning hot grease when eating it. The chilli con queso tasted like cheap cheese whiz. My brother had order lime infused skirt steak and it had canned metallic tasting mushrooms all over it on a bed of grease slicked rice and wilted vegetables..... My friend and I had ordered the taco salad... which is suppose to have avacado in it and there was absolutely none in mine or my friends salad. The taco shell that held the salad was very stale and hard. The skirt steak had no flavor and was chewy. We also ordered a mojito which tasted like pure sugar. The service was also horrible. One of the male servers told my friend very rudely to watch out when he put the food in front of her. Our bill came out to over 100 dollars and we barley ate any of our food because of how terrible everything was... we asked to speak to the manager of this place but he was not present. My family is very good long-time costumers of portabello cafe and I am so surprised that this resturant has this quality of food and service. My friend almost threw up in the street after leaving because the food was so greasy. This place doesnt even deserve one star. I will NEVER return even if you paid me to.

Went to crazy taco and was not impressed. Ive been here a couple times in the past and it was good. Today not so much. Took 15 minutes after being seated to be asked for drink orders. Drinks were good. Order the small guac and garlic wings. The guac was closer to brown them to green, it was not good, just because you sprinkle a little tomato and cheese on it dont make it good. Should have to hide your quality which is exactly what they were doing. Wings were good. Now we got 2 orders of the chicken shrimp and steak fajitas. The steak was weird, it was dark red like it was pre cooked and then reheated on the skillet, on top of that it was greasy and flavorless, as if they had no salt or seasoning. Same goes for the chicken, just flavorless. Now the shrimp, you cannot serve tail on shrimp for fajitas, you just cant, it should be taken off, unless its frozen shrimp? Then thats gross. Service was meh, seemed understaffed, cant blame the employees, food was bland and greasy and boring. Wont be returning. 2 stars for decent drinks a d good wings. Thats it

Just came to this place on Tuesday , my mom my aunt my little nephew, my sister in law and I. It was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly, the staff was very polite and attentive and so sweet to my nephew even though he made a little mess haha. Drinks were good , but needed a little less ice and a little more alcohol. As for the tortilla chips , damn those are delicious but i would have liked for them to keep them on the table and maybe refill them as well because i also like to eat them with my meal , the mango salsa on point but wish I had more . As for the prices I think are great , some things more pricey then others but thats business , you get what you pay for. There was this corn mash with corn kernels that was absolutely delicious , I wanted more but I think the gentleman forgot which was fine because I probably would have eaten the whole thing lol. Great job with this place, will definetly be back
