A true standout! Fantastic! This place is in the "hidden" Cape May Point section of Cape May and as such, is a little out of the way, kind of destination place. This has a nice little "General Store" area out front and seating outside and in the back of the store. The fresh juice blends are highly recommended and the food is fantastic. You will be impressed by the variety, imagination and flavors on the carte. This is hands down one of the top places in Cape May and worth the trip out of town for a visit. This is a cash only place and things are not cheap, so prepare accordingly. If you forget there is an ATM inside the "Front" of the store. Check it out, you will be back over and over!

Was so excited to go to dinner at red store , Went so many times last year and recommended to do many friends and clients BUT was so disappointed in service and food After bragging to our friends we took them for dinner tonight our treat Many courses went back to kitchen , only one bite Didnt enjoy at all Service was subpar Have reservations next week, most likely will cancel Wish they kept things the way they were last year Most likely not returning Table of 6 cost over $400 plus tip for cold cuts and empanadas No thanks. Shame , was truly really above par before the decided to do this tasting menu

Enjoy delicious meals from The Red Store three times a day. In the morning you can indulge yourself with some of their home made, in house pastries. Dont have much of a sweet tooth in the morning? No worries! They have a delicious breakfast menu that will leave you licking you plate. After a beautiful day at the beach, return for lunch and enjoy another delicious meal. And if you still havent had enough, plan ahead and make your reservations for a 3 or 4 course dinner by a world class chef.

We had huevos rancheros, pancakes, a sandwich and various blended vegetable drinks. The huevos rancheros compared favorably to some of the best that I had in Mexico. The blended vegetable drinks were also very well done. Parking is a bit strange, and it can get crowded here. There seems to be a lot of attention to detail in the preparation of each dish. Everything was very fresh tasting. I dont give 5 stars often.... this place is deserving.

Outstanding 2016-2017 NY Eve dinner 1st seating. Standouts were the smoked love beets and then the grits with thumbelina carrot, along with the main course. I had the local scallops which may have seemed small, but packed an amazing sweet ocean taste. Way better than those massive (probably synthetic) steak house ones. Not only the top CM restaurant, but easily top 10 in the state. Thank you Chef Lucas and Staff.

8 courses of inspired food. The tuna tartare, empanadas, and pork belly in bao buns were the showstoppers in a long list of great food. The chef is Argentinean and details in the dishes give a nod to this heritage. The meal was well timed, two hours for 8 courses and coffee is spot on. The service was informed and attentive. I highly recommend The Red Store.

After thinking every place has snarky young staff, this place proved me wrong. Twice they served meat to a Pesca, but they instantly corrected it and had two waitresses tell us it would not happen again. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, the staff knows every detail of the dishes. Only complaint could be youll be extremely full!!

Had an incredible experience at The Red Store for dinner. My girlfriend and I have spent time and dined in some of the "best" food scenes across the country. The Red Store truly blew us away. Every course, the ambiance and the staff - all perfect. We will be back and would HIGHLY recommended to any/everyone.

Been meaning to try this place for years, and finally made our way to the Point to have brunch. The food was quite delicious: each one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I would recommend the egg and bacon steak! And I highly recommend the house-made gelato as it was the best gelato Ive had in a very long time!

We decided to try the Red Store for their brunch. Very interesting selects on their menu. Food was terrific, and with good portions. Pricing might be a little high, but that seems to be the norm along the shore. Staff was friendly too. Has a nice local feel to it. We will definitely be back.

I dont really want to review this restaurant because I dont want people to know about this amazing restaurant. I cant say enough about the food and the great people that work there. The atmosphere is magical at night. This is without a doubt THE best place to eat on the Jersey Shore.

Wow! So delicious! Freshly made pastries and breads. Local farm veggies. Airy screened-in patio. Friendly and attentive service. We had the Avacado BLT on a croissant with some of the best home potatoes ever. Wife had the crab pancake which she loved. Well be back!

This place is very pleasant. The outside patio is surrounded by a garden with a pond. The staff is extremely friendly. The food is excellent. We were there really early for breakfast of season so we got right in, but I heard there can be a long wait on the summer.

8 course prefix change and food was really disappointing. Waited 45 min before anything came to the table. All the courses were off. They tried to bring dessert before the entrees. We loved this place for years. I hope they can bring it back to what it used to be.

Great coffee and fantastic food. We didnt know we were staying so close to such a gem until our last day. We showed up without a reservation but they managed to fit us in for brunch. A bit pricey, but delicious and worth it.

One of the best restaurants in the jersey shore! The breads and cheese plate were delicious and the pork chop eith peach BBQ sauce was one of the best Ive had. Highly recommended. Has local wines available for purchase.

No real indication when beverages were stopping being served, ended up getting a scoop of gelato which I didnt feel was worth almost $5. Store shelves werent too stocked, so nothing worth buying.

Cute and cozy, this little gem is small in size but big on charm. Their bread basket is one of our favorites and we love sitting here, sipping coffee and chatting about the weekend.

We absolutely love this place and go every chance we get. Chef Lucas creates many superb dishes and it is a joy to experience them. This is casual fine dining at its very best.

Excellent food and service. The dishes were unusual combinations of ingredients and flavor, but they worked. A bit of a shlep to get there, but worth it.

Interesting place. Not much of a store but its more of a restaurant. Didnt get a chance to eat here, will try it next time.
