Overall, the food was excellent The menu was reasonably priced and offered a very wide range of options. We were seated quickly and the waiter was very prompt with his service. If you like greek/middle eastern food, this is the place to go. Even if you dont like ethnic food that much, you can have a great meal here. The pasta dishes were delicious: not bland or boring, nor overpowering. The chicken in the dishes was well cooked and very flavorful. The portions were extremely large; we had more than enough for a 2nd meal the next day. For dessert, we got baklava, which was very rich, sweet, and delicious. If you dont go to this place because of the decor, youre missing out on an absolute treat.

Do NOT let the outdated 80s decor deter you from dining in this restaurant! The service was the best weve seen in quite a long time. Our server was very attentive, polite and efficient as well. The food was absolutely incredible. We could tell the mid-east cuisine was prepared to order and tasted absolutely authentic and beyond delicious. The menu had something that was sure to please everyone- Im a vegetarian and my husband is a carnivore! The prices were unbelievable- we havent gone out to eat dinner (2 club sodas, appetizer and 2 entrees) and spent less than $35 in who knows how long. We did tonight. We will definitely be repeat customers!

I ate here with three of my relatives so we tried a variety of food here. Each of the soups (Mediterranean Vegetable, cold borsch, split pea) was very good. I really enjoyed the lamb-loin chops, but not nearly as much as the vegetable sides. The yam puree and cabbage blew me away. I have never really enjoyed either before. The desserts (cheesecake & baklava) were both very tasty too. Even the prices seemed good and I live in Iowa, so they might seem even lower to people from the East Coast. All told, a very pleasant surprise.

I LOVE Middle Eastern food. as a vegan, I really appreciate their vegetarian menu section: vegetarian prokus, vegetable based soups, delicious vegetables etc. The food is really all delicious. And I love the fact that I can keep the price down by bringing my own wine. Just know that it is not a romantic looking environment. Pretty enough, just not particularly charming

Often overlooked by younger people, La Pergola is gem hidden in plain sight. Excellent middle eastern food. I see a couple of complaints about "rude" staff, but Ive never had that issue in my handful of experiences at La Pergola. If anything, Id say the slight language barrier with the waiters can make them come off as short and aloof.

Awesome food! Not date food, not ideal for a business lunch because some of the items are messy. You have to go there because its delicious and cheap. And the side vegetables are good. They have fruit soup almost all the time. Do you like fruit soup, I dont get it, its just ok, but hey you want to try it dont you?

Why isnt this place crowded all the time? Food is delicious, prices ridiculously reasonable, and about the only place you can get Eastern European food like perangan with amazing soups and specials and lots of parking. I go there on my birthday and lots of other times too

Really great Greek/Israeli style middle eastern food, the best stuffed cabbage Ive ever had. Unfortunately, service was very slow. The restaurant was half full, and only one waiter was working the floor.
