Update to the person who commented on my review: you are misunderstanding me. We were 3 separate parties, NOT 1 party. The coupons explicitly state "1 coupon per party" not per table or per group. Therefore, each party is entitled to use 1 coupon as they see fit. What if we were all random strangers sitting together? Only 1 party would get the coupon and everyone else would not? I am well aware of how coupon policies work; they were not. The language barrier did not help either. ------- Went with 2 other parties and tried asking when we sat down for 3 separate checks. They had no clue what we meant but agreed anyway. Food was very good, cook was friendly and great. Then came the check. Not 3 checks but 1. We had coupons to use and they said we could only use 1 since we were 1 group with 1 check. Well after almost getting into a fight because they didnt honor our wishes for separate checks they finally agreed and took care of it. The ladies room was filthy from what I was told and the mens room was no better. Nevermind trying to use the toilet in a dimly lit bathroom because so many lights were out. Sorry but as good as the food was, the service issues and other stuff is too much to overlook. We will not be returning, coupons or not.

I love this restaurant. The food is always amazing and the chefs are very interactive and friendly. The person who critiqued the restaurant due to their inability to use multiple checks for coupons is wrong. Ive worked in three different restaurants while getting my undergrad and that was always how business was operated. Every restaurant I have been employed at has a strict rule on "one coupon per party." Some restaurants are more lenient with allowing it despite their rule but every place I have worked that was always the case, "one coupon per party." People should be aware we as the servers tend to get into trouble if we were to separate the check to allow a table to use multiple coupons and sometimes if it is corporately owned the managers hands are tied as well. Any restaurant I have ever attended as well has always been one coupon per party so it is wrong to critique a place based on the "norm" for restaurants who offer coupons. Any restaurant you attend will have that rule, some will just be more lenient with accepting them DESPITE their rule.

So very disappointed. Had a reservation, place was half full, not busy and had a long wait for everything. Asked for brown rice several times yet it was forgotten until the hibachi cook was about to serve me white rice when I asked him, then the server went to get some. It sucked to sit with my entree and wait ten minutes for the rice. The servers made very little visits to check on drinks, I was close to melting my left over ice on the hibachi grill to have something to drink. Since it was a nice long wait for the check, I got to observe how dead all the plants were and count the many burnt out light bulbs. When we paid with our credit card along with the rest of the table, the server asked who gets what credit card which gave me close to a heart attack. Not going to return. The hibachi chef was very sweet, he was funny and did a great job.

This is one of the worst restaurants we have ever been to! We had a reservation and they made us wait 25 min only to be sat at a table that they do not use which was evident by the box with their Bissell steam cleaner a bucket and mop caution signs etc. next to it. additionally the dark corner where the table was had peeling wall paper exposed electrical wires paint peeling from the ceiling dirty carpet and the Hibachi table was dirty and they did not clean it beforehand and they were going to cook our food on it. We tried to stay but after all of this and was my sons birthday we got up and walked out. Think twice before going to this horrific place that is run by children.

Used groupon coupon, $30 food for $18 , much to our SUPRISE there is no way to get only $30 worth of food. Everything is priced higher. It seemed also that when you show the coupon the amount of food is less than you should receive off the regular menu. The service is also less friendly than at lunches when we have been there in the past. Lunch has more selections and more food for less than half the price. The place seems to be deteriorating, the floors were dirty and torn. The seats were shaky also. Food was also mediocre, lacking in flavor. .

This was probably one of the worst places that I have ever had Sushi/rolls from. As soon as I opened my to-go container there was a fishy smell. I tasted the tuna and it did not taste right. Shrimp tempura was ok. I also asked for brown rice which I paid extra for and received white rice. Miso soup was very salty. I ended up throwing most of my lunch away. Place was dingy and dirty. Carpet was worn and wall paper was peeling off the wall. I have had better Sushi from the Shoprite in the same shopping center.

We made a reservation and they gave our table away, made us sit in the front for 10 minutes then sat us at a table that had been empty since we got there. We also asked about using Groupon and they said we could. We were a party of 4, two couples paying separate. At the end they told us we could only use one Groupon even though we were paying seperatly, and the couple at the other end of the table, who wasnt "with us" could use their Groupon.

We love our all you can eat sushi and come here on a regular basis...however this is not the first time the hostess was wearing completely innapropriate attire. Between the flip flops, bumblebee hoodie, mini skirt, and conditionally satisfactory health inspection certificate, we almost decided to go somewhere else. We did stay and will be back, but wish our 20-25% normal gratuity was toward a more aligned service and attire.

Today My wife and I had the worst experience at this place. We came in and ordered 1st took long to serve us and didnt even bring us the plates, 2nd didnt serve the correct amount we ordered, 3rd not very attentive with drinks, 4th which really got me upset the rice wasnt cooked enough it was HARD. My wife and I dont feel good also we wont be going there any more. If I could give 0 stars I would.

We came for "all you can eat" sushi a little past lunch time on a Saturday, and the place was pretty quiet. The food was good, tasty and well-prepared. There were a lot of good choices on the all you can eat menu, and the appetizer portions were generous. The atmosphere is a bit dingy, but I didnt mind. The service was quick and the staff were super polite and helpful. Overall, good experience!

Great sushi. Best around! Bad service. If you want sushi, this is the place! Service is...unusual...I ordered a Thai dish from the menu. It was awful. I tried to return it. The manager came to our table & stuck his finger in my bowl & licked his finger. TRUE STORY. So strange. If you want Thai, go to Thai Nam Phet. If you want sushi go to Halulu.
