The layout of this diner is odd. There are two entrances and two spots where they have "please wait to be seated" signs, but apparently they only serve people standing at one and not the other. They have a small waiting area but there isnt really a desk or anything where you can let your hostess know youre waiting for a table. Confusion could be lessened by a clearer layout. We went in on a Sunday morning and the place was packed, so we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table which was no big deal. Got seated and put in our order and then waited over 30 minutes for our food to show up. This wouldnt have been such an annoyance had people seated after us not gotten their food within 15 minutes. Plus we were sitting right next to the counter where the kitchen was putting out food for the wait staff to grab, waitresses walked by our empty table every 2 minutes. The food itself was decent but not spectacular. Eggs were a little underdone as were the home fries. My wifes omelette was a little under-stuffed. Pancakes were OK but very, very heavy. All in all the place was alright but not something Id go out of my way to visit.

Great food but depending how busy they are it might take a little longer then usual but in this buisness that has to be expected as they are busy due to how good the food and service is ! And have to say ALWAYS ask for( Felicia) as a waitress shes always friendly prompt with orders and keeps up with your drinks and checks on you often enough to make sure your enjoying your food and everything is ok shes awesome !

20 min wait to sit, figured food would be good. 30 min wait after we ordered to get eggs and pancakes, ridiculous! Food came out cold. Taste wasnt horrible but it was disrespectful to customers to serve cold food after they have been waiting for nearly an hour to eat. Waitress was nice. Would not eat here again.

Though I dont live in Merrimack any more I still rate the D W Diner as the best breakfast ever. Their homemade corn beef hash is the best and the eggs are always done right. Very friendly place - great place to gather.

Delicous seafood salad sub., I had the Italian meatball soup with veggies. I also ordered the garlic bread. Perfect meal for a November evening.

We got a kids french toast, a small soda, 2 cups of coffee, an egg sandwich, and home fries it costed us $ 17.00 !!!
