Ive been here a few times. Every time, Ive found it to be a little overwhelming. Its a little too dark, and a little too loud. I felt that the tables were uncomfortably close together. This may be a personal issue. I know some people enjoy that kind of atmosphere, but for me its a struggle. Twice, Ive had a poor waitress, and twice my waitress was attentive and nice... So it seems like thats luck of the draw. The food has been consistently decent. Nothing to write home about. Certainly good portions for the price. I will say that I agree with the one person who stated that the tables werent clean. Three out of the four times Ive had an issue with that. I know theyre very busy, and the turnover on tables is high. The one time I didnt find an issue with that was earlier in the morning... I dont doubt tables get wiped down between customers, but i dont think the staff gets a chance to really clean them. Overall, not a bad place, just not the place for me.

January 2015 Cold Snowy Day, Went in DIRTY DINER..I mean..DERRY DINER and there was an Electric Heater on the floor but it was OFF. The place was freezing and of Course my Food Got Cold very fast. I was very close to walking out as soon as I sat on the Dirty Booth, Geez, There was dried up Food & Ketchup on the wall, the Napkin Holder was DIRTY, It was really Gross. My Daughter Refused to walk out..and later Regretted it because her Omelet was cold and it felt like a Piece of Rubber. I am NOT Exaggerating. The Waitress had no Personality whatsoever. PEOPLE Clean That Freakin Place Up, Close it for a Day and Hose it Down. Cant Even See Out of The Windows they are DIRTY! I See the Review saying the Place was Clean...HA HA HA IF that Person Considers that place Clean I can Imagine what her house looks like lol

It was ok. Food was ok. Prices average but they dont have a bottomless cup of coffee. Up charges for every little thing annoying but there a few other diners that do the same. Service was excellent when we went. Place was very clean the day we went. But it could use some updating. Theres a difference between vintage and and just plain run down. Experience was just "ok".

I have lived in Derry for about 13 years. And have been going here just about twice a month. And i absolutely love the food !!! My food has never been cold,rubbery,or gross ! Sure its old and out dated but for me thats charm of it of Derry.

The entryway is small and awkward. Theres no handicap access. The staff are friendly and quick. The food is good and the prices are good. Portions are generous. Overall a good place, though the front stairs are the major detraction.

its ok, the inside isnt very nice. kind of a old fashioned hole in the wall diner. food was average. i was disappointed that they dont do hashbrowns and the homefries are bad. i felt sick after eating there.

Decent breakfast at a good price. Hours are kind of short and weekends can get busy, so there tends to be a wait then. Mid week you can always walk right and and be seated right away.

Such a delicious, homemade, reasonably priced breakfast. The hollandaise sauce is scrumptious. If you can handle a non-fluff simple breakfast experience, this is a must.
