The food, is not bad. However, my rating is based on our experience more than anything else. My husband is a big guy. 67 300LBS. He doesnt fit in a booth very well. Thats just the way it is. The airport diner, has ONE TINY TABLE FOR 2, thats it. No other tables, all booths!!! I called one night, because he was dying for their tuna melt, and my Dad was in town, and I thought it would be fun for him to see this place. I inquired if there was more than the one small, tiny, table that only sits two. I explained the dilemma to the woman who answered the phone- I told her my husband was a big guy, and my Dad was also a big guy, neither of them would fit in a booth, I was wondering if there was accommodations for more than 2 ppl at a TABLE not a booth. Flat out, she said no. PERIOD. There was no further discussion, it was just NO. So, I asked if it were possible for her to hold that one tiny table for 2 open, for 15 mins to allow my Dad and husband time to get down there. ( Since the table only sat 2!! I figured Id stay at home, and they could bring mine back). Again, the answer was a flat out no. Even after that experience, weve gone in, and the ONE table has been taken, and when I ask for a table, they tell us we have to wait for the only one they have. Last time we waited 25 mins, before my husband decided he was annoyed with the entire situation, and we walked out. Everywhere I go with my husband, I ask for a table. We have traveled a considerable amount through-out the US and even Europe. We have never had an issue getting a table, or getting an employee to make accommodations. Not at the Airport Diner, their unwillingness to make accommodations for customers, has totally turned me off. I wont be back.

My boyfriend and I have been to the Airport Diner around 10 times since I moved to NH. The food is dece, and cheap and the service is usually okay.Today when we visited the diner it was kinda busy, as it usually is. There were about five people including the manager just walking around the floor when we were waiting around half an hour for the bill! No one asked us if we needed the check, let alone ask if we needed a refill on coffee!! Our waitress didnt bring our food to us, we needed to ask for the condiments necissary to eat pancakes, the bus boy had to refill our coffee when we stared him down until he finally asked what we needed. When we finally got the check from the manager after I was completely bored waiting there, we waited even longer at the counter to pay. The manager finally came over and took my visa. Did not even say thank you for coming in. This diner was really dissapointing and I am rethinking if we should even bother going down brown poopie ave. We enjoyed the food, hated the waitstaff. Only tipped her two bucks, even though she didnt deserve it!

I brought my daughter and two grandkids to the diner today. My grandson likes fish and they dont have fish on the kids menu so I ordered him the fish dinner to the tune of $12.99..it looked like it WAS a kids portion. My daughter had a cheeseburger that made a fast food burger look like a sirloin burger and the bun was rock hard. My granddaughter had the spaghetti and "meatballs", which consisted of a mound of spaghetti with sauce with ONE grey meatball on top. She gets more meatballs on a 6 in meatball sub at Subway. I had the turkey pot pie which was not bad but came with a roll that felt like it was like it was left over from yesterdays meal. I pointed these out to the waitress and the manager soon appeared. We got no reduction on the bill BUT a free dessert. Of course we had room to eat it as the meals were not satisfying. I was disappointed as this IS a member of the Common Man family, which has a good reputation. I will not return to this establishment and not recommend it to anyone.

I was there yesterday with clients, arriving at 12:50. Hostess said ten minute wait. There was no one waiting ahead of us and several open booths. A waitress came over and asked the hostess if she should clean one of the booths (presumably for us) and the hostess said no, and asked her to go do something else I told the hostess it would be great if she could have one of the booths cleared for us because we were in a bit of a hurry. She did so and we were seated. We ordered beverages and food quickly and then sat and watched as other tables around us cleared. It took over 50 minutes for our simple food order to arrive. My clients felt our dining experience was delayed because I had asked the hostess to seat us at our convenience rather than hers. It was a little embarrassing after telling them how great the place was. Next time I will have to bring my business elsewhere.

The sandwiches, clubs, burgers, and fried pickles are always a good pick. You will want to top it off with a dessert, but with so much food, you will have to grab it to go. A just over a mile away from Manchester Airport, off exit 2 from Rt 293, and providing room service for the Holiday Inn, there is almost no excuse to try this retro diner. The staff are very friendly, and the food is made and cooked just the way you want. Tables, chairs, and booths could use some repair, but I still go back for the food! My go to breakfast (at dinner time) is the Cadillac with french toast, fried eggs, sausage, and home fries with an Irish coffee. Can not go wrong with breakfast for dinner.

Ive been coming here with my dad since I could remember. Its gone through a lot of changes, updating, renovating I guess. But it still has the same atmosphere as I remembered. Small, quaint place with a unique theme. A great staff with a waitress I may or may not have a giant crush on but she has TATTOOS I CANT HELP IT. Anyways I always order breakfast which you can get all day. It doesnt matter if Im there at 11 am or 4 pm I always order breakfast. They have amazing coffee and I would come there and sit there all day just for that. Everything tastes how you would expect, nothing too special but thats what I like about it. As always, it was a great experience.

After waitning a few minutes for someone to take my take out order. I finally walked to the counter and the cook took my order. Then after the food was done then a waitress came to charge my bill. Where was she at to take my order? I told here that I would be here at the hotel for a week. If the food was good I would be back. If not I wouldnt be back. Guess what. I never went back for the rest of the week. One of the things I ordered was a bowl of meat Chili. How can you mess up chili? It was nasty. I threw the whole bowl out. The waitress was really nice just as the cook was. But the food was not worth the money I spent. Visited Nov. 2008.
