Little did I know that a small deli such at the North Country Deli on North Main Street in Laconia would be home to some of the best tasting pizza in the Lakes Region. I discovered this back in high school when I used to go around at lunch time and try all the pizza places around. One day I stopped by to get a sandwich, but I saw pizza rotating in the the carousel and though I might try a slice to two. To my amazement, I thought to myself, "this is a great piece of pizza" (aside from Boston or New York). I think this surpasses any of the franchise pizza vendors in the area along with some of the local businesses. The sauce covers just enough of the pizza and they use a great spices to call it their own. I highly recommend this pizza. A cheese pie is around $10.

Best pizza in the area, hands down. Wish they were open late but the pizza is NY style thin and excellent. Best get it to go, there are a few stools to sit and picnic tables outside. Love the pizza!!!
