So let me go ahead and explain my TWO bad experiences with this place. As a las vegas local, I love trying different sushi places. RA was recommended by a friend who said this place had a great ambience, good food, and great music playing. I went with my boyfriend and the hostess was very pleasent. We then got seated about 10-15 minutes later since it was a saturday night, there was a bit of a wait. Our server was a asian woman who had a very different name. It looked japanese. She was very pretty but was a HORRIBLE server. She did not once make eye contact. She seemed like she was just having a horrible day and it really stunk that we had to be the customers that she took it out on. She did not smile once or was very nice at all. That right there just kills my WHOLE dinner and experience. She just looked so miserable. I think that even as a server, if you are having a horrible day or hate your job, then dont work that day because you are losing business. The second time was tonight actually. We had a male server and he was just as bad. Did not even seem to care at ALL about customer service. He did not even introduce himself. I then ordered one of my favorite rolls, the rainbow roll, and it was absolutely disgusting. This roll has an assorment of raw fish and it did not taste fresh at all and it felt like it had been sitting out. With that being said, I will not be going here anymore. I will make sure I let my friends know the experiences Ive had with this place with this place and I really hope they get some new servers or have a coaching session with this team of people. Thank you for your time.

RA was surprisingly better than I was expecting lunch-wise. Although it wont blow you away like some of the places in Vegas, the food/drinks are fairly solid enough to mix in with the people watching. I recommend, on a sunny day, to go people watching on the seats literally right on the Strip. Along with some drinks and sushi, its a fun time. I got one of the lunch bento boxes (the beef) along with a sake sampler. The sake sampler was tasty (especially for around $9). The bento box was hit-and-miss - the beef itself was way too salty but the rest of the box (except the rice) was fairly okay. They also have a fairly good happy hour in the late afternoon).

I normally dont write reviews for restaurants but I was impressed with RA sushi to a point where I must comment. I am by no means a fine diner but I know a good *experience* when I see one. This place covered all of the bases: great food, attentive and friendly service, unique atmosphere, and a convenient location. I was impressed to get all of these things *on the strip* and not feel overcharged at all for the location. In regards to dining on the strip, Id take this place over one of the casino buffets any day, and the costs are probably comparable. Definitely check this place out, and bring friends so you can enjoy the wide variety of sushi rolls.

When arrived for dinner during the week and it wasn’t particularly too busy, we were seated and offered drinks/service pretty quickly. The food was great, the atmosphere/location was perfect. Once we placed our order, the first round came pretty quickly, we ordered again, but for some reason took extremely too long, it went for super fast to almost like they forgot about us. We eventually got served, but the lapse in timing was disappointing. Overall the food was, prices were decent and the restaurant experience was great as well. Defiantly, recommend, just order all your food at once.

Love this place! Used to eat at Ra in Chicago all the time & the Las Vegas location did not disappoint. They have amazing sushi with all the classics plus a huge variety of specialty rolls. The prices are also extremely reasonable for sushi especially if you go during one of their two happy hours. My favorites are the seared tuna & Las Vegas roll (with a side of spicy mayo). For dessert their cinnamon tempura ice cream is delicious! Very large portion...Id say it would feed 4 people easily.

Very unique rolls and flavors. I was there for lunch so I did a bento box and split a roll with my dining partner. The bento box was okay. Terriaki chicken, and there wasnt enogh terriaki sauce, but still had good flavor. The service was friendly and the outdoor seating was covered so it was a comfortable temperature and good people watching. I would probably go off the strip for sushi in the future, but this hit the spot for our stop at Fashion show.

Excellent and friendly service; great food!! My waitress was so kind and accommodating. She allowed me to order a custom cocktail, and then the bartender came over to personally hear what I wanted and delivered it. Both people were incredibly kind. The sushi was great! I enjoyed the atmosphere sitting outside in the shade while drinking ice water. It was perfectly comfortable and enjoyable and delicious! Thanks guys!!!

Great service and staff. blah food. Quail eggs are actually ok, salmon roe was on its way to decomposing and tasted like chemicals. .. vegas roll tastes like grocery store California rolls, rainbow roll was not as good as what you can get at WinCo, the lobster salmon roll was ok. .. if I had to go back for some satan forsaken reason Id get that again. .. maybe. My drink, coco-loco was really good. Order that.

Nice sushi spot inside Fashion Show Mall. They make a great Peach Belinni. We went later in the night, so service started a little slow, but after a while, they were on top of things. I was with a large party who liked Sushi (I dont) and everyone in my party seemed to like what they got, I was happy they had other offerings besides fish, so I had the chicken. I would come back again.

Its one of the best sushi spots in Vegas hands down. The food at this place tastes fresh and flavorful. Also the portions are large and the appetizers mmm to die for. try the viva las vegas roll as an entree and the rackin shrimp as an appetizer and I promise your taste buds will be tantalized!!

Unfortunately, the sushi didnt really stand out for me. Not to say that it was awful, it just wasnt as memorable. Decent sushi, with really good happy hour specials and a nice view of the Strip, its worth checking out. Just dont expect the sushi to knock your socks off.

This was a nice experience. I wish we could have dined longer but it was close to closing. The food was fresh and delicious. The shrimp tempura was so crispy and not too greasy. The service was prompt and friendly. We have been here 5 or more times and they are consistent.

The rolls are just ok snd the drinks are decent, but again not great. The service is extremely slow and definitely plays a big part to giving this place 2 stars. We had the same waitress twice and she was horrible, sarcastic and completely unprofessional both times
