we were here on vacation and came here from the positive reviews. The restaurant atmosphere was decent enough eventhough there was a screaming kid beside our table which was not really their fault. Waiter was nice enough. We ordered chicken, teriyaki, tempura, rainbow and treasure island rolls, beef tataki, and medium sashimi patter. We found the prices were a bit on the high side especially the sashimi. Would not recommend the beef tataki(not enough ponzu sauce and the beef was way too thick). Sashimi platter had nice presentation and decent quality but the portion was fairly small for $50 USD. my wife liked the treasure island rolls. We had Hilton Experience $20 discount, but the bill was still was north of $150 USD. Still we were really not that full so went to bubble tea afterwards.

We went to Osaka for an early dinner around 4pm while visiting Vegas. The bad: The sushi chef was very busy doing prep work, and seemed somewhat annoyed that we were there ordering sushi. The regular server also was not particularly attentive, leaving us with a clutter of used dishes at one point, though their visits did increase toward the end of the meal. The sushi bar is small. The good: Everything else! The sushi was excellent, the fish was fresh, the chef was very skillful. The ginger and wasabi were high quality. The prices were not high, about average for sushi. In the end they lose one star for the inattentive service, but otherwise Osaka is an excellent bet, and to get the same quality of sushi on the strip would cost you more than twice as much.

this is a great restaurant!! First off it is everything but Americanized that guy is a dumb ass. Secondly Leroy sounds to me like you have no restaurant etiquette... I mean the reason why she had to ask even though there were no people doesnt have to deal with to many customers, but when a restaurant is slow they only have so many servers . with that being said do you honestly think that they just fill up places and hope they can take care of anyone. so what it boils down to your an idiot as well and probably wouldnt have been a good tipper as well. sincerely a guy who who understand the service industry smh :( we had to 15 min gtfoh you impatient bastard.

This was the worst experience I have had with a restaurant in 40 years. We waited 15 minutes trying to get seated. The place was nearly empty. The waitress finally came to us and asked if we have a reservation. I said no, but do we need one. She said no but she had to see if she could find a seat for us. I said the room is empty except for one couple. She said she had to ask a manager if she could seat us. My wife and I said no thanks there are plenty of other restaurants in Las Vegas and we left. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Las Vegas. It should be a crime that this place is open.

Very American style sushi, not what I was expecting. I like the taste of raw fish and dont appreciate nigiri coming from the chef with so much wasabi the fish cant be tasted, especially if that is the experience on the majority of the pieces. Rolls arent much better, the Aces and Yum Yum were bland, and in the case of the Aces over powered by sauces. Total price was $90 for two (Friday 6/20/14). If you like Wasabi more than fish, and prefer McDonalds to In&out this place might be for you, but if youd like even a hint of tradition or subtle flavors look elsewhere.

Nothing special. Overt priced. Small portions too. I went with my family. when we walked in we basically got lost lol. Theres 2 different hallways that lead you in 2 different directions. So we ended up going to the right hand side and its literally like the size of a small office. The waiter sighed or groaned as if we were bothering him. He completely ignored us then someone else sat us. I was confused especial because the waiter never mentioned the other side which was special seating. Which would have been nice to be offered their 2 different rooms.

The Food was very good. But be very careful to use your credit card here. Our entire party... meaning the 4 of us, were all charged an additional 7.50, without us knowing. After returning to work, noticed cc had been charged twice. Called, and they said they would take care of it. It has now been almost a month and no refund of money to anyone. RIP OFF!! This is STEALING from your customers, and is not right! Pay cash if you go so you dont have the bad experience of talking with their accountant/book keeper... and never getting your money back.

This place has been around for 50 years. They offer sushi & sashimi, hibachi grilling, udon, teriyaki and much more served in Western style table settings and in traditional tatami rooms, semi-private booths. The menu is much more comprehensive than menus from most other Japanese eateries that Ive seen. The food comes out from the kitchen beautiful and delicious. The servers are friendly and quick. Ive only visited once from the San Francisco Bay Area, but I would surely come back for more.

Quality food that is made with love and a passion for authenticity. Not much aesthetically, but they offer traditional Japanese as well as western-style seating. There is much to be said for showing such enthusiasm and pride for the food you make. Fresh, high-quality fish (something difficult to find in Vegas without paying an very large sum) is what is to be found in the nigiri as well as the various sushi rolls. For what youre getting, the prices are quite reasonable.

There are a lot of high-end sushi places in the casino, but you wont find the quality that Osaka brings. I have been going there a couple times a year for the last decade and their quality is always top-notch. They often have fish breeds that you wont find elsewhere. Definitely try the Kanpachi and the monkfish liver. They also have tatami mat seating with a put for your feet, fun for a group. Only downside to this place is only about 8 seats at the sushi bar.

Best Sushi ever! If you are in Las Vegas you have to go there. Etwas ausserhalb vom Zentrum, unscheinbar von aussen aber das Essen ist absolut fantastisch, einmalig und bleibt unvergesslich Erlebnis...

Good for groups. We enjoyed the teppanyaki show. Our chef was full of jokes and very into making sure that we had a great time and that our food was cook to our liking. For 2 people with drinks bill came to $100. Exactly what we expected. I would come. Back and give it another try. The parking lot and restaurant is small so make reservations ahead of time...

I ate here about 7 years ago and I remember it being one of my first real Japanese food experiences. I know I did not try the sashimi since I was too timid to do so back then but I cant wait to give them another try now that my tastes have matured. I do remember it being delicious since it has stuck with me all this time. It has a nice intimate ambience as well.
