We have been here twice. The first time food was ok , but service was good . Today we were in the area and we were going to try it again thinking maybe the last time was an off day. Not so. Rice used was not a sushi rice by any means , and shouldnt be used as such. Some of my sashmi was to stringy , I. had a section on my plate devoted to the sashimi I could not chew. The only other customer in the place seemed only interested in the beer selection and not the quality of the sashimi. I wont give them a third chance because life is to short for poor sashimi !

We are regulars. The food is always great. The owners are hard working and the staff is pleasant. The restaurant is very clean and the food is fresh. The owners are very appreciative for all their customers and always say thank you when customers leave after eating. Desert Hot Springs is so lucky to have such a nice restaurant in town. Usually we would have to drive out of town for good sushi. But we dont anymore.

We are in from out of town and I was craving sushi, my husband almost didnt want to go in because of how the outside looked but I will urge you DO NOT TO LET THAT PERSUADE YOU!!!! Not only were we EXTREMELY impressed with the food and prices, but the staff was truly wonderful!! I do not ever leave reviews but this place is truly a gem and I hope to come back soon!

I eat sushi regularly and recently visited Domo for the first time. The space itself is unimpressive but clean. Its not a "fancy" sushi restaurant but the food was really excellent. They have some amazing and unique rolls on the menu and everything was fresh. Its worth a trip out of your way to sample one of the best sushi restaurants in the desert.

i LOVE this place!!! i have gone here several times n every time i go i leave waddling out lol...food is bomb, service is great...its hard to find really good fish in the desert n coming from someone who lived all their life in san diego, this place really reminded me of home for sure...i reccomend anyone who likes sushi to go to sushi domo.

Absolute perfection. You could not ask for better service. The restaurant itself was spotless. And the food - Oh. My. God. I got the Domo Platter which was enough for my dinner and my husband to pick off of. He got ramen that came in the cutest pot ever. Portions were generous with very reasonable prices. Our new favorite spot!

Had a great meal. The staff was both friendly and attentive. Fish was fresh and tasty. We had the orange blossom roll which was delicious and beautifully presented. We had a very good experience, left full at a very reasonable price. If you are visiting desert hot springs and love sushi, this is an excellent option!!!!

Very nice, small sushi bar, noodle shop, and more. Excellent house made picked ginger. Warm, attentive staff. Udon and ramen served hot pot. Good balance of authentic Japanese flavor and familiar Americanized fare. Widest selection of Ramune (fruity soda bottled with a marble) Ive personally encountered anywhere.

The lady that is in charge is very rude and shes very cheap she gives you small portions of everything and when you ask her for a little more she pretends she doesnt understand you the food is really good but the service is horrible. Im not going back there because of her ..

The sushi rolls are amazing! Tasty and melt in your mouth. Different flavors blend together perfectly. The presentation was beautiful. The spicy ramen was just ok- tasted like the Korean instant noodles but that wasnt their specialty and it was kind of what I expected.

So much better than Edoko Sushi in Cathedral City. Yes the $25 all you can eat sushi at Edoko Sushi sounds great but you get what you pay for. Fish here at Domo sushi is so fresh. Price point is right on.. definitely the place ifor sushi in the desert.

This is one of the best sushi spots in the desert. The monster roll is my favorite if you like deep fried rolls. If not then the domo roll is also really good. Great appetizers and beer. And the atmosphere is nice as well. Overall a great spot.

2nd time here. Placed a take out order. Ordered spider roll, caterpillar roll and sashimi C. IT WAS AWESOME! Super fresh, great quality. Wouldnt expect great sushi in DHS but they pull it off. You wont be disappointed.
