The board game cafe concept was entirely new to me, and I HAD to check it out. FYI, right now if you checkin on yelp you can get a 20% discount on any game purchase. My boyfriend came in to look around. In the first room, they have snacks, drinks, and of course games to sell. On the back wall they display some of the games from the library, even a section just for two player games. The next room has a tabletop version of pacman games, a racing game, and another game I couldnt identify. The back room has an even larger library selection and off to the side is a "private" room. When we went in there were several families playing with their kids, some guys playing a middle earth strategy game, and some people in the private room. They have all sorts of games, from Sweet Valley High, to dungeon crawlers, special editions of monopoly, card games, and all sorts of new nifty games youve never heard of. They also have a section of gently used games available at a discount. After poking around a bit, my boyfriend and I decided to play a dungeon crawling game and handed over the "admission" fee of $5. This allows you to play until store closing. You can also run a tab for snacks and drinks. The owner Tim showed us how to play our chosen game and would come back to check on us and explain rules as we played. He was also running around to other players showing them rules for their games as well. The man was on the move the entire time. Eventually, we lost at our little dungeon crawling game, and Tim recommended Machi Koro, a monopoly style game to us. At the same time another small group came in, and Tim asked them if they wanted to play as well. So we sat down with our new friends and played for about an hour, before we discovered the store was empty AND Tim had Cards Against Humanity. So of course we played that until the store closed. Tim also showed my boyfriend the Xwings Star Wars game hes been interested in, and talked to us about the Meepleville Membership program. For $25 a month, you dont pay to come in, and you get a 20% on all games in the store. Note, I looked around online a bit, and I can safely say that the prices are pretty competitive for a brick and mortar store. Ill definitely be talking to Tim the next time I need a game. Also, members get to come in for members only parties. Current weekly events include a Xwings meetup on Mondays, and a general board game meetup on Wednesdays, which we will definitely be coming back for. At only $5 a visit, Id say Meepleville is one of your least expensive options for hours of entertainment!

This place is wonderful. From concept to execution. Im a single father, and was looking for something INDOORS for my son and I to do nearby (its hot out!) When we found this, both of our inner children burst out. I saw chance/strategy games for me, and he saw co-op and fantasy games. Armada was a hit for everyone. What makes this place great: lots of games to play with friends and members. What makes this place better: a comfortable energy and environment and even options for small snacks. What makes this place unique: th people. I never knew how many different people loved th same games I do, until I connected with them at Meepleville. Save yourself some money and become a member. Its a great place to spend time with family or to make new friends.

Superfun to go here! You pay a measly 5 dollars per person (kids are even halfprice) and you get to play an amazing amount of boardgames all day long. The staff is very eager to help you play the games you would like best and are definitely not trying to get you to buy anything (and this is a refreshing approach in Las Vegas!). If you like boardgames and are in or near Las Vegas, you should definitely check it out! It is in a more quiet part of Las Vegas with lots of parking.

Really nice time. Comfortable environment. Clean. The guy who runs the place helps you without being overbearing. Hes so nice to explain the basics of the games and then leaves you alone to try it. But hes available for questions if needed. $5 to play unlimited. If you dont like a game you can choose another until you find one you like. He has snacks and drinks available. Its an awesome place!!! You seriously cant find places like this anymore

5 stars cause I know how to open doors and ask questions. For them 5 stars because Timm the owner is extremely nice and helpful. The rest of the staff does a great job making you feel comfortable and ensuring you are playing a game of whatever you find fun. Whether its by yourself or with complete strangers, who end up being awesome people too, you will find something worthwhile and want to be a member in no time.

I have so many nice things to say about this place! The staff were unparalleled in their friendliness and game knowledge, as well as their ability to teach and help you out! Together with an amazingly large and diverse selection of games to play and good environment to play them with friends or others at the cafe, this place is something I will bring up whenever someone mentions they are going to be in Las Vegas!

Fantastic first tour and experience of Meepville. Just happened to be walking by and took in the atmosphere while stepping through the door. It was alive inside. Not boring, or just blah, but a real sense of community. The way any pop culture or game shop should be. By stepping inside its like stepping inside your own home and sharing happiness with your family . Thats my cheese review for the day .

Fantastic place to play games with friends. Staff is very accommodating. Have more than 1,000 board games for you to pick from, and they also sell most of the top hits as well. Theres a little Café attached which sells drinks and sandwich wraps if you get desperate. On Mondays after 5 p.m. board games are free to play, Tuesday is 2 for 1 and I believe they have a half off for students as well.

My friends and I walked into the place without knowing a thing about board games and one of the workers, Billy was nice enough to show us around and helped us pick a board game. Not to mention that he was extremely patient and helpful when teaching us how to play. Never thought Id have so much fun at a board game cafe but this place is really cool. I recommend 100%.

My 10 year old son loves boardgames and when I searched for a store in town that specializes in games I found Meepleville. I decided to take him to play games for the day. The staff was friendly and helpful. The selection of games from the library was almost overwhelming. It was a nice relaxed atmosphere. We will be back soon.

Never been to a board game cafe before this, and I never expected to have so much fun. Some friends and I spent over 8 hours there and only spent $10. Time flies there. The owner, Tim, is extremely welcoming and will guide you through the rules of any of the board games there. Awesome environment, and awesome people.
