What do I love about this place? The question should be, what dont I love about this place? We had Ricks Adobo Fried Rice - a traditional Filipino dish made with marinated, shredded chicken and rice wrapped omelet style with green onions, accompanied with their homemade macaroni salad. The omelet is exactly what one would expect, if you ever had adobo...VERY, VERY GOOD! The mac salad was a little salty for my taste, but still very good! Their Kalua Pig Benedict - toasted English muffin, topped with Hawaiian-style, slow-cooked, shredded pork, cabbage, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce...A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! If benedicts are what youre looking for, this one tops them all. MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! Our son had their bacon cheeseburger, well done, and fries. My husband was quite pleased and surprised that, yet again, another great entree! Our daughter had their carrot cake pancakes. I love carrot cake to begin with, and I have to admit that it was even better than I thought! To top everything off, we ordered their Red Velvet Pancakes with chocolate crumbles and cream cheese syrup. If pancakes are what youre looking for, anyone whos been here would, IM SURE, highly recommend the Red Velvet. Words cannot even describe such a simple dish that is OH SO, well...youll just have to try it!!! Im sick to my stomach from all the amazing food! We packed up two take-home containers and went home to crash, but I wanted to take a moment to rate this restaurant. Definitely worth it. This being our first time there, we wanted to order so much off their menu to try what we heard/read rave reviews about, so we already knew we were “taking leftovers”…the question was, just how much? Being New Year’s Eve, it was really packed! They served us juice and coffee as we waited, which was extremely nice! You’re happy with how their items are priced! Service was still very good for how busy it was. EVERYONE, including us, walked out of there with a smile on their face. WHAT A GREAT FIND! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for breakfast/brunch!!! ENJOY! :)

Dont be fooled by the other reviews. Its an okay place to grab a bite if there is absolutely nobody else in line but it isnt worth a two minute wait, let alone the typical half hour wait one sees at ordinary dining times. The food is okay but not amazing, or even very tasty. Its not bad. Its just not good. Its there...eventually...and presumably absent any spit. If youve got some powdered sugar and pancake mix at home, youll probably be able to get a better meal cheaper, more quickly, and with less effort on your part. The service is subpar. They dont check on you. They dont take your order quickly. They dont bring your food out in a prompt manner. They dont present with a friendly aire. An unpleasant amount of work is required just to get them to take your payment. Theres just a lot of friction that must be overcome in order to get anything at all done. The front of the house appears to be very poorly managed. The hostess either doesnt know how to do her job or has a very narrow idea of what it is and doesnt care if shes making the customers lives harder. It typically has taken way too long to get seated, even if you are the only one in line and there is a clean, set table in plain view. The seats are jammed in there and its difficult to get seated with a stroller. Highchairs are brought grudgingly. It wasnt horrible. Like, I didnt find myself wanting to knock anything or anyone over in order to escape. However, it wasnt a pleasant experience and I see no reason to repeat it. Nor do I see any reason why you should go into it without at least knowing what awaits.

If you like paste as gravy which is much like play dough with more salt and an attitude if you say so then this is your place. For the nasty food they are busy so maybe its me. I ordered pancakes with eggs and bacon the first visits. Bacon was hard and okay eggs over cooked but okay. Pancakes (blueberry) while throughly cooked looked like I had asked for the very last order on Earth. No joke there might have been 4 blueberries on the plate all were in the cakes. I actually called the lady back because I thought they gave me plain pancakes. Once I cut them open and saw there were a couple she said "see" I said "I stand corrected there is a blueberry here" no offer to get more even if I paid. (This should have been my only visit. My doc office is near by so were tried again. This time the biscuits and gravy. It had biscuits. However that salt paste like mashed potato mix was not anything close to gravy. It was inedible. I ate the extra eggs and bacon. Ordered toast and told her that was extremely nasty and if maybe it was a mistake. She said no its how it comes... again no offer to fix or make with out the 3 lbs of salt or take back. Just pretend the crap on the plate is completely normal and is food and walk away. Kicker was the fact they never refilled our drinks. Even when asked. They were kinda busy but once I ask you would think it would be done. I left there and had to go buy water. Never again.

Nothing like CAKE for breakfast!! We ordered the Kahluah Pig Benedict and the Chick Skillet with Red Velvet Pancakes. The service was good. The server was prompt and polite, always there to refill coffee. The food came out quick enough, the portions werent enormous like many breakfast places do. The Benedict was good enough, the pig was tender, cabbage just slightly crunchy. The poached egg was poached hard (Not runny) which I like a little more runny, but thats ok, and I could always go for more hollandaise! haha! As I had seen mentioned in another post, the hashbrowns suck. Theyre a thin layer of potatoes crisped on the top side, mushy on the bottom. Meh. The skillet sucked terribly. The "chick" aka, chicken, was in the form of 3 small pieces. VERY disappointing! (Mentioned it to the server, and it was taken care of, but besides the point) They did not skimp at all on the benedict, but the skillet was a wash. The Red Velvet cakes were amazing. But then, who doesnt like eating birthday cake for breakfast? Because seriously, thats what it is. Sugary mess of yum. And honestly, not impressed. I can nuke some birthday cake in the microwave and call it a day. All in all, I dont plan on returning, thanks anyways!

Me and my girlfriend were looking for a new breakfast place to go to and i saw babycakes cafe online and after seeing the reviews about the RED VELVET PANCAKES, we had to come. The service was outstanding, we were seated as soon as we came in. the waiter took our order without writing anything down(which is so cool because he got it all right too). The FOOD! OH MY GOSH, the food was SOOOOO GOOD. i promise this is our new spot to go to now for real! i got the breakfast burrito and it came with pancakes. VELVET PANCAKES! Yes, they were so tasty! i have never had anything like it before. the breakfast burrito was so good i didnt want to eat it all and saved some for later. my girlfriend got the pumpkin pancakes.(who has pumpkin and red velvet pancakes? BABYCAKES DOES) Even the pumpkin pancakes were so good, i was eating off my girlfriends plate and she was trying to eat up my red velvet pancakes. ALL in ALL this place is a MUST try breakfast spot in Las Vegas. if more people tried this place out it would be better known. as soon as we were done, i added them on facebook, twitter, everything because i want to keep up with them and keep coming back. please tell other people about this wonderful place!
