I have been here a couple of times. The first time, I sat at a table for nearly 15 minutes before being acknowledged by a server. I thought it was a fluke. So, I gave them a second chance. Went down on a Friday night, thinking they would have their A team on. They were not crowded. I walked in, stood at the bar, the bartender looked at me, then walked away. I then sat at one of the outdoor tables, within direct eyeshot of the bartender, and sat there for over 30 minutes!! I would have left, if I did not have plans to spend the evening w/ a friend who I was to meet in the area in an hour. I finally walked up to the bar, and was told to wait at my table. I advised him that is what I had been doing... for 30 min! The manager came out and apologized, but the service still did not improve. I completed my drink and dinner, and vowed I and my friends would never go there again. Oh, and BTW, the food was average, nothing to write home about, and that is coming from a fat chick who likes to eat.

Food is good but the service is HORRIBLE. I have never experienced such terrible service in my life. A manager who was helping literally tossed food on our table and walked away with out saying a word. Waitresses and waiters walk by looking at you and ignore you. Ive come in during lunch when no customers were in there but the hostess was sitting in the back just looking at us. Ive tried to come back because I love the food but something needs to be done about the service. Almost all of these reviews are about how terrible the service is, something should change.

We were the only table in our waitresses section...there were only two other table in whole place with people... Ordered our food took forever after it came I asked about mine... She goes to find out comes back 5 minutes later said they were really slammed and will make it now... By the time I got my food my kids and everyone else were ready to go... Cant complain they compted my food... But took 15 min for her to box a Med pizza and a Pasta dish... Then a other 10 min to bring change back... So just very slow service

Came for game 7 for the NBA finals. Servers looked at us like we were from another planet when we asked for the TV to be turned to that channel. Went to the other side of the bar after dinner to get drinks, we were told that the bar side (which has the biggest TV was closed and could not go there due to staffing issues) Left at halftime due to a uncomfortable atmosphere. People working did not look to enjoy their jobs, which then reflects on customers. Beer and drinks were great!

Waited just over 1 hour and 45 mintues to be seated. Once we were seated and they took our order, it took 45 minutes for the food to arrive which honestly isnt horrible until they forgot 2 peoples orders. They said they were sorry and the burger and salad would be out shortly. 25 minutes later everyone else was done eating and we still didnt have our food. We waited 15 minutes still and nothing. We told them we were done and paid and left we out ever getting our two orders.

Used to be an amazing place to go eat... Was seated right away..waiter was friendly. However didnt remember the special. Didnt get drink order right. Asked for no ice got tons...placed order for food.. Waited over 30 minutes for our order. Wasnt even a busy. Recieved my food but of course it was wrong. Waited another 10 minutes to get it fixed..had to take silverware from a different table since we didnt get any. Probably will not be back.

Went in today for lunch with the family and nothing went right. Waited over 30 mins for an appetizers and they ended up coming out with the meal. When we told the waitress we no longer wanted them since it had been so long with no one checking on our table of 5 she said well all I do is ring the orders in and rolled her eyes! I strongly suggest you go anywhere but here for lunch and dinner!

GREAT tasting beer. Had a Nebraska IPA. Great flavor!! Although I was in here for over 15 minuets before I even got my beer and it has now been another 15 minuets and am still waiting on my famlies order. And another 15 minuets but didnt get daughters grilled cheese but did get my Chicago fire calzone, my wifes burger and my sons burger...? Overall though the food was amazing!! 4 stars.

Worst Customer Service Ever!!!! If I could give no starts I would. Was sat down and finally went up to the bar after sitting down without being greeted for over 15 mins. Went up to the bar and the bartender was extremely rude and offensive. Will never be returning. I advise you either visit another Old Chicago location or just stay away from the Old Market location all together.

After reading all reviews (64 @ the time), my husband and I decided to go ahead and try the Old Market, Old Chicago. We were seated, waited on, served, and left with in 54 minutes. Staff was amazing, food was pipping hot! Drinks were nice and cold. Nothing was forgotten, nothing was messed up. Perfect all the way around. Oh, and it was pretty busy for Saturday night. We will return.

Being busy and friendly is one thing, but being busy and confrontational is something completely different. Management asked how long I thought our food took then proceeded to correct me by a minute or two difference. Not to mention, I ended up sick that night. It sure makes you wonder. If you want good Italian food, go to Enzos. This place is not worth the money.

The wife and I went there twice and had a beef & pepperoni Chicago stuffed pizza. Good stuff! Very filling.. a medium stuffed pizza feeds 2 for a really nice price. The last time we went, sadly - our server told us they would be discontinuing the stuffed pizza.. why? 2 of 3 customers there were eating it.. must be a chain decision..

Food has gone downhill since I have been dining here. Im not a huge fan of chain restaurants anyway, and this one consistenly taste bland. Last week, I was there and noticed two cockroaches in the bathroom, just crawling around with the lights on, so that is not a good sign. Clean up the place!

worst food and service in a long time. food was cold but overcooked. server stopped by 3 times before taking our drink order. got sick and called the manager to let him know about the whole incident. said he was going to send gift cards but didnt. not that I would use them but its a principle.

Went there for my girlfriend b day waited and waiting by the bar not once we were not served or noticed after 20 minutes we left went back an hour later still nothing called the mang he said he was sorry and said next time on the house well guess what it wasnt so lost my business

Came here on New Years Eve. I was told there was a 30-40 minute wait, its busy so its understandable. We waited an hour and a half. My name wasnt even put down. We never got paged. When we were finally sat, our server told us that he couldnt even take our order for 15 minutes.
