A must visit restaurant in central Nebraska. The atmosphere is unlike anything youd expect. It has a nostalgic yet sophisticated feel. Expect prices for entrees in the $20-$30 range. Definitely a great place to go for a special occasion or date. The food is excellent as is their service. Confirm their hours before you go as theyre closed on Sundays and shut down briefly following lunch before re-opening to serve dinner. They also offer featured specials that are absolutely outstanding. They vary them up on a regular basis, so check their website to see whats featured as a special before you go. If available, one of their past specials, the Green Chile Alligator appetizer, was a great choice!

I dont often review places, but this restaurant was a great surprise. Awesome atmosphere, employees seemed proud to work there, and the steak portions were huge for the price. I almost cant believe the amount of food included with it. Cooked to perfection as well. Normally Im not wild about prime rib, but if all prime rib was like that it would be my favorite cut. Also loved the espresso tenderloin. The building was so cool!

Quaint place with excellent friendly service. The Bloody Mary with house infused pepper vodka was EXCELLENT. I would have given this restaurant a higher rating if the food was just a bit higher quality. It didnt seem consistent. Some items would be great, others would be just "OK". Nothing was below average. The prices are very fair and the environment is relaxing. The staff is welcoming and I would go back.

This is Kearneys classiest restaurant and bistro. The luncheon soup, salad and sandwich buffet is an excellent bargain. Dinner items range from steaks to chicken and seafood, with a bit of a European touch. The front dining room features a grand piano. Wine lovers will appreciate the extensive and reasonably priced wine list. Service has been friendly, and usually prompt.

Ive always had a wonderful meal when Ive eaten at the Alley Rose. I especially like the market buffet which includes soup and salads, along with sandwich fixings. The day I ate there was potatoes, gravy and fried chicken, along with one of their potato casseroles. It is a meal in itself. Always fresh and good and help was very responsive and enjoyable.

This is a class A place. If I dont have a suit on I dont feel like I belong here but they dont require it. The food is excellent and the staff make you feel welcome and valued as a customer. It is pricey and we only eat there once in a while but it is definitely a favorite of ours. I cant say enough good things about this place.

We enjoyed everything. For the price it was worth every dollar. From salad and fantastic soup to awesome facossica bread to the blood orange sorbet to cleanse the palate to the 2" small prime rib, and sides. Best service weve had in a long time. Id say this is way better than many of the places in Omaha.

Amazing food and service. Superb wine list at affordable prices. The osso bucco was packed with flavor and melted off the bone. Bring an appetite because the salad bar is killer but youll want to save room for dessert; great tiramisu. Thanks to Megan and all the staff for a memorable evening.

Awesome attentive service, nice atmosphere. Generous portions and AMAZING food. They were able to accomodate my gluten intolerance! Blackberry pork chops and chicken florentine highly recommended! Fruit Flambe was the perfect finish. Definitely a most stop next time we are near Kearney.

Amazing! Stopped in for a work trip and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, the staff was top notch, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We sat on the bar side and was amazed at the decor. Definitely will stop there again!

Well worth a venture off the interstate. The service was prompt, friendly, and helpful. Im always a little leery of coming to a cattle country town and ordering something other than beef, but had faith and was not disappointed.

I liked the food. I had beef tenderloin that was done perfectly. Great wait staff. Wonderful atmosphere of an old hotel. Peaches flambe prepared at the table. Its a bit expensive, but worth every cent.
