Went to "I Pho Tower" for dinner last night! The Pho was authentic and delicious. If I had any down notes on it, it would be that there wasnt enough protein in the bowl. It was a little scarce but the flavors were absolutely spot on! The crepe dish my Wife had was also delicious and she was very pleased! only downside for anything was the service which couldve been better. When we arrived the first person we contacted said it was a buy one Pho get one free! I thought awesome one for tonight one for tomorrow! We placed our order and I told the waitress I would like the second order of Pho to go. I was told by her "You cant do that!" Um..OK..Whatever. Jackie ordered coffee as she does everywhere we go (weve actually left places that told us they were out of coffee! Its kind of a big deal for my Colombian born Bride! They brought her an iced Vietnamese coffee which she tried and didnt really care for. We told the waitress she would prefer a cup of hot coffee so after looking at us like we were clearly insane she left the first coffee and brought a second small cup with cream and sugar already in the cup. We finished our meal, packed up our left overs and requested the check. The total seemed a little high at 53.00 so I took a closer look and found we were charged for both coffees at 5.00 per. Average coffee at best at higher than Starbucks prices. So there you have it food 9/10, service 3/10, coffee 2/10. Bon appetite!

The food was okay, but expensive. The service though, was BEYOND awful. Order: shrimp rangoon, grilled chicken vermicelli, grilled beef rice plate and two cokes. It started with having to flag down our server to ask where our order was after watching 3 other tables come in after us receive their food (Im guessing we were forgotten about). We then received the wrong items, got charged for multiple appetizers that we didnt order, plus the waitress ARGUED WITH US ABOUT IT when we asked her to fix it. Not once were we asked if we wanted refills on either the soft drinks that we paid $2 a piece for or water. Incredibly unimpressed. I can guarantee that we will not be returning.

Some of the best pho Ive had in the KC area! I am placing this one right up there with my other goto restaurant. Tonight we gave the brisket pho, shrimp Rangoon and BBQ pork buns a try. You definitely get a good sized portion for the pho and it had excellent seasonings in the broth, tender brisket and fresh greens to top it with. The shrimp rangoon are probably the best Ive had! The BBQ pork buns are the only thing I was not overly impressed by. They werent bad, but lacked flavor. I would pass on ordering them in the future. The service was prompt and waitress polite. The decor is certainly unique as well. Check this place out if you havent already!

IPho opened to a good amount of public interest, and it didnt disappoint. They offered a slightly different take on Vietnamese cafés, calling themselves a French-Vietnamese bistro. At first, they didnt disappoint. The staff seemed engaged, the food was quite good. On my recent visit, the food was still pretty good, though maybe not quite as good as in their early days. Worst of all, no one in the restaurant seemed to care too much about business operations. It felt like they all showed up, and were putting in their hours, waiting for time to go home. There were few customers, even though it was prime time for the restaurant business.

Service is hit or miss. Usually a miss. Ive called in to go orders and been told once i arrived (on multiple occassions) that they never recieved my phone call or forgot to put the order in. Ive also been straight up ignored when trying to pick up my order while they help others behind me without even acknowledging i was in the restaurant. Food is decent but not worth the terrible service. Eating in also isnt an option as the sound system has painful high pitched feedback anytime Ive ever been in. The last time we ate in I had to eat quickly then wait for the rest of my group outside because the sound gave me a headache.

I went to IphoTower with my girlfriend about a week ago and overall we enjoyed ourselves even tho our waitress, Tiffany, was terrible! She wasnt helpful at all! When my girlfriend received her soup, there was someones hair in it, so my girlfriend asked Tiffany if she can get her a different bowl, but Tiffany seemed to get upset with her because she wanted a different bowl! The only reason why Im not rating the restaurant any less is because the food was really amazing aside from the whole hair situation. Great food...crampy service! :/ please train Tiffany to be more customer friendly

Absolutely the BEST Pho Ive ever had!!! Ordered the Combination Pho, BBQ Pork Buns (which were Outstanding, as well) and the Spring Rolls (could have used more shrimp but still good and fresh). I had more than enough food to not only eat for dinner but for lunch the next day, too. The price was very reasonable - I went at 4pm so Happy Hour prices applied. The time I walked in, ordered, received my carry-out food and walked back out was less than 15 Minutes!! Im just so pleased with them. Ill definitely be back and telling everyone to go in the meantime!!

My wife ordered vegetarian pho and I got the regular combo pho. The broth was extremely bland. Tasted like it was way watered down. No taste at all. Neither of us could finish it. That was a waste of $20. If you are low on broth, then just say youre out. I would be embarrassed to serve such awful pho. Our companions crepe dish tasted ok at least. I would recommend goin to any other Vietnamese restaurant in town besides this one.

Listen, if you are a Pho fan, THIS is the place to go. Ive tried probably 12-15 pho restaurants in KC and none of them are even close to as good as this place. The rest of their menu is mediocre and their staff is sometimes very friendly, other times not so much, but none of that bothers me because of how incredible their pho is. Try going on a Wednesday with a friend to get a BOGO bowl of pho.

Not Terrible. Not Life Changing. I had the Shaken Beef, which was not all that great. Seemed half-cooked. I should have gone with the Pho. That looked pretty tasty. Others had the Prime Rib, which they said was awesome. Neon trendy atmosphere, and a bit pricey. Might do it again, but wouldnt go out of my way to do so.

I go to the restaurant on Independence Ave. Love the food, service, and staff. Choi, Anna, and Jenny make me feel right at home. Authentic Vietnamese cuisine, love the Pho and the spring rolls w/peanut sauce. Safe and clean. Frequented by staff, faculty, and students of Health Sciences. Family oriented and never a wait.
