Terrible service. Visited on 8/19. Cashier seemingly had no idea how to operate the card reader. We ran the card as debit and for some reason she claimed that we "had to run it as credit" because they "got a new card reader". My boyfriend pointed out that this probably isnt a good idea, but I just did what they asked. Lo and behold, I checked my bank account and was charged twice as expected. Called the same day we ate there and spoke to a male manager, who in the end said we would get a refund. It is now 8/30 and there is still no refund to be seen. Went ahead and just called again in regards to it and a female manager named Sarah answered. After a few minutes of trying to get her to understand the situation, she became all flustered and kept talking over me, saying she "didnt know how" to give me a refund. After basically explaining how to give a refund to someone, she then claimed that I would have to "go up there in person" to get my refund, or give her my entire credit card info through the phone in order to locate the purchase. First of all, neither of these claims are true. As a manager, you can easily look up the transactions with the last four digits of the card info, and as a manager, you should know how to give refunds since its probably the second most common thing youd do working at this place. The entire time, she seemed to be in disbelief over what happened and claimed that she couldnt find my transaction. I asked for her name so I could attempt to speak to someone else about this big ordeal, and she said my name is Sarah, but "I cannot give you my last name." Why not? I assume shes already scared that she will get in trouble for this all. Just received another call a few minutes later from her saying that she is attempting to refund it, finally, and I told her I will wait again to see if it processes. At the end she said that if I would like to call back again then I should ask to speak to "Grace". Grace? I thought your name was Sarah. Is it even either one of those? The entire conversation consisted of her redirecting the subject towards something else. Terrible service, terrible crepes, I never imagined such a simple process would turn into something so complex and pathetic. She also advised that I can "go ahead and leave a review" so thank you, I will! Sarah, Grace, or whatever your name is, thanks for nothing!

Parking: Place is located in the Rice Village area and parking will be difficult to find here. Most likely have to drive two or three blocks away to find a parking spot. Time and Day: Came on a Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM and the restaurant was almost completely full. There was a short line but getting a table is tricky. They have a sign that says you cannot hold a table until you ordered your food. Food: I got the Le Californian ($9.95) and it was absolutely delicious! The turkey, bacon, and the shredded cheese made a great combination. It was the right amount of serving for me and I would definitely ordered this again if I was given the chance to. The spring mix was a nice touch although I would wish for more. Food gets a 4/5. Service: Fast service here. They are fast at cleaning the tables (although they can do a better job at it) when people are leaving and my crepe came out quickly. There isnt much interaction here. You ordered your food at the cashier and they bring out your food (assuming you found a table). I saw someone actually trying to find a table for another couple when we were waiting so it is nice that they are looking for a table for you if they know you are eating there. Service gets a 4/5. Price: Many of the items are under $10. I say the price is right. Overall: The food and service is good. I would come here more often if I could easily find a parking spot and have a place to sit. Would definitely come back to this place again. This place gets a 4/5.

Gluten-free (celiac) based review Gluten-free Nutella crepe and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was amazing, one of my favorites, absolutely delicious! Gluten Free Issues: However, major problem with gluten free prep I discovered on my second visit. They dont seem to have any concept of cross contamination. They seemed surprised at using new utensils, wiped surface down only, and Im not even sure that they changed gloves. Will contact management and recommend they remove gluten free precautions that were stated on menus as that is misleading at the current time. I sure hope they fix this since it was delicious! Not safe at all for celiac customers unfortunately. Edit:6/14/2016 Gave it another shot. They said theyd make sure fresh utensils, wiped surface, and clean griddle. Not dedicated area, but decent effort. Updating my review to 3 stars. Would rate higher if they had dedicated area and consistent history on this

The food and coffee are good except for the fact that they forget whip cream on the hot chocolate half the time. But it is 2 stars for their customer service. I went in at 2:51 one day with the intentions of ordering a breakfast crepe. They cut off breakfast at 3pm which I was aware of and thats why I was in a rush and glad I got there in time. Until I proceeded to spend 12 minutes in line while the cashier struggled to use a bottle opener to open a bottle. I made it to the front at 3:03 and explained that I had been in line waiting well before 3 but he said the time has passed. I asked him to ask his manager who was standing a few feet away and when he did the manager glared at me and proceeded to say "Whatever just do it". The lack of customer service horrible and I felt like I was just a hassle to them. Maybe next time the cashier can learn to do something simple like open a bottle.

A big thank you to the manager today who dealt with a situation very professionally. It is polite to queue and take a seat once your order has been taken, but some people had not done this which meant that once our party of 4 had ordered there was nowhere to sit. She helped us to find a seat. The party who were reserving a seat were rude to her despite her just asking politely for them to abide by the rules which were clearly marked. If there is a system people should follow it. Im glad for the sake of everyone that the manager helped. Delicious pancakes too!

I went to Sweet Paris with some of my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The outdoor eating area is nice and reminded me of being in a small cafe in Toulouse, France. They offer a variety of beverages such as mimosas, coffee, oj. I like that they had a glass case so you could watch them fill the crepes as you wait. I was expecting fresh crepes as in them spinning the dough and then filling them. The food was delicious and I will definitely be back on my next visit to Houston. I highly recommend!

The food if you can call it that was close to dog food. The bananas were rock hard the strawberries sour the crepe was simply thin bisquik pan cake. Also when asked what size the crepes were I was told it was small so I ordered 2 when I got it they were more than enough for 2 people. The crepes at IHOP are far superior to this place and thats not a high bar for comparison. I ended up pulling out the rock hard bananas then the berries but eventually couldnt choke down the "food so I left"
