Only thing worth getting is the egg rolls and crab Rangoon other than that the noodles are fat and no flavor to the food I ordered pepeper steak and it is full of rice and only five pieces of beef and no steak or pepper just a bunch of vegetable broccoli is still hard along with the rest of the vegetables I knew I should have drive to raytown to get better food quality the owner or supervisor is very very rude when I called to make a nice complaint he yelled at me over phone saying are you kidding me I mean why would I be calling if my food tasted great it tasted like straight **it and I am sorry people have been telling you that and you cant seem to accept constructive criticism then I told him the pepper steak was only full of rice and vegetables and no meat he really went off and said he was not going to give a refund or replace my beef pepper steak order but the nasty noodles I could get a refund for or made again I dont even know if I want to go in there or not to even get my refund of five dollars this was my last and final straw with with this business from now on I recommend mama China in raytown the food is always good I was just so upset that he yelled at me MIKE on the phone because I was making the nicest complaint I have ever made in my life he yelled at me stating that he has been making Lo mein for 20 years and he said that he was upset because people have been making complaints all day and that right there was a confirmation to me that they been serving that crappy food all day to people and of course people like myself who spend $25 or more on food will make a complaint.

I base all reviews on how the business is presenting themselves to their clientele. So this review is for a straight forward Chinese-American take-out joint and with that in mind it deserves FIVE STARS! The menu is packed with standard hits and also has a few standout specials namely Springfield Cashew Chicken (meaning its fried). If you are familiar with the dish I think youll find this is probably the best variation in the KC area. The super meal (like combo meal) truly is SUPER SIZED with giant servings of friend rice, soup and a big egg roll. One order at $6.49 is enough to feed two healthy adults for sure. My wife and I order two meals and always have enough to eat for lunch the next day. Ordering online is very easy and you can make your order very specific with instructions- as we always get any fried chicken with sauce on the side so it stays crisp. Finally, the selection of FRESH drinks, smoothies and teas are on point. We really appreciate a place that takes the extra care to provide specialty drinks for their patrons; and they always make them fresh when we arrive.

A word of caution -- most of the staff isnt very well versed in English. During my visit, I saw about four people, and only one of them spoke English fluently. They had to act as a translator between me and the person taking my order. I didnt particularly have any problem with rudeness, however -- the person doing the translating was honestly more shy and nervous than anything. And the person taking my order was rather patient. So it might be a good idea to refer to menu items by their numbers rather than by their names. When I got the food, however, it was excellent! The fried rice I got with my meal and the cantaloupe green tea with boba pearls (D12) in particular stood out. The portions were rather large, too -- my order of lemon chicken lasted me at least a couple of meals. This place is certainly worth a visit, but do be a bit prepared beforehand.

Ive been eating here for the last 9 years. Their food is consistently amazing for the price and you get a lot of it!! They are always thinking of new ways to improve and make their place better and their new fruit milk teas and green teas with or without jellies or boboa are awesome!! And if you want to make a dish spicy/spicier ask for a container of their spicy oils and be prepared for the burn. Love it!!!! Customize any dish they offer and make it your own!! Fast and friendly service! Eat in or carry out. Great both ways!! A place you have to try!!!!!!!

The best Chinese I have ever had. They have plentiful portions, meals with great brown rice, they have great egg drop soup and beef on a stick (cho-cho). The staff can be rude, but they arent used to Americans. I love all their food. The small size drinks are large, so I cant image the large size drinks are probably huge! Good food for the price. :) Try the drive thru! (Although the intercom system isnt very good). Great food, selection, and price!

Ive been going to this place for years now... and its been great. But today my order was HORRIBLE! Chicken lomien "29L" noodles were stale + overly sticky, broccoli seemed old and discolored & the carrots were almost black! Something appeared to be up as I went in to pickup my order. Different staff and not as organized! Just lost a loyal overweight customer... I was the model for their focus group consumer ...NO MORE!!!!

Just ate here. The price is great and the food is freshly cooked when you order. Portions are large and the staff is very friendly. The only drawback is that they do not have a gluten free menu and could not tell me what was safe for me to eat. But that is not unusual for Chinese restaurants. My dinner guests were all extremely pleased with their selections ... I will know soon how well I chose.

Wow! I am very picky about Chinese food and I loved this place. The guy at the counter was very courteous and friendly. My daughter got Bubble tea. We both loved our food. And it was cheap! The prices on the menu online arent right. Its closer to the lunch prices. Big portions. I would recommend this place!

Such good food! I love their shrimp spring rolls (the peanut sauce that comes with them is divine) and the drive through is very convenient. Pro tip: you can ask for a dollar or two of extra meat if youre extra hungry or sharing, and it turns the portions from large to heaping.

People seem to like the food, not personally crazy about the taste but the prices are great though, I usually just get the fried rice to be safe when the fam wants to go here...actually the egg or shrimp fried rice is pretty decent. Cooks fairly fast, open fairly late.

Great alternative to fast food places. Always get fresh Chinese. Order the super meal and get entree, fried rice, egg roll and soup of choice all for $7 thats with tax! Ive tried every soup and enjoy it. Only thing that needs fixing is the seating. Uncomfortable!

This is as good as any other Chinese in KC and much cheaper. It is not the best I have had but nothing in KC is. There spring rolls are different than I have had but great. It is cold, fresh vegetables and meat wrapped in a clear rice cover.
