the food is delicious but the day after i ate it i was sick with food poisoning. then two times in a row i have been in the drive thru and the service was awful. and when we asked for sauce they got mad at us. during my latest venture through the drive thru we waited over 30 minutes and we tried to go in the doors and they were locked when they were supposed to be open. and then we called the manager he didnt even know the doors were locked. very unprofessional and you may want to bring a movie for the wait. may i suggest the Godfather one and two ,the entire harry potter saga, or the star war saga. bc the force was not in the drive thru.

I can only imagine the reviews were written by staff or management. To rate food, you must first be served food. Been here an hour, had to beg for the appetizer to come out, sausage and cheese platter. Yes slice and serve, an hour. Every table is in the same situation and the place is full. Management says they are short 1 person in the kitchen, I imagine thats the cook! The absolute worst dining experience ever. There is a table of PD officers, they cant even have a salad served in the 30 minutes theyve been here. Customers are starting to walk out. With such poor management in the kitchen, their future is short.

Had ribs at Cross Roads before that were good but I cant say that about the ones I had there today.... I am pretty sure I had baby back ribs before but todays offering was spare ribs, St. Louis style according to the cook. If st. Louis knew what he said, theyd probably be mad. Overcooked, dry, and just not very good. Beans, slaw, and potato salad were good but I learned the lesson of this: if they arent baby back, I wont be trying them again. Sorry guys, hate to slam you but these just didnt do either of us any favor today.

Was dubious since its in a built up shopping area. But had the combo and was pleasantly surprised. Had pork and ribs. Ribs were baby backs and fell off the bone. Had a great dry rub crust and are most without sauce. They have three sauce options on the table, which I always appreciate. Preferred the original to the sweet or hot. Pork was a little dry, but good smoke flavor. Beans and slaw were also good. Overall, I enjoyed this spot and would recommend it and stop in again.

Our friendly server gave us a free rib to try as we arrived. We had no other option after that. Amazing dry rub ribs and 4 sides generously came with it. Couldnt believe how well priced it all was. The waiting room at the front door says it all. We wouldnt go past this place if were in Tupelo again. Great Southern hospitality to boot!

The ribs fall off the bone but taste wise, theyre average. The mac and cheese taste as if it came out of the box. The bread is nice. Verna, our waitress, took excellent care of us and she made the experience worth it. If youre looking for great service, shes the one to give it to you. I wouldnt really recommend going there otherwise.

Slow seating, server was quick but food came slowly. Mothers Day crowd was low but so was staffing. Salad served in a broken, "wooden" bowl that should have been discarded! Pointed it out to server. Fries were greasy & soggy, brisket was dry but good flavor. But an hour wait from the time we entered to get our food was not pleasant.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It always looks like theres no one there which make you wonder why. Well although a lot of the appetisers tastes like it may have been previously frozen, the meat it awesome. They do a really good job seasoning and preparing it. Thumbs up from me and my crew (a 6 year old and a 1 year old).

2 stars only because the sides were good. We waited over 50 minutes to receive our food- a 1/2 plate of ribs and the brisket plate. Meats were room temperature, not tender, nothing remarkable about the seasoning. Our waitress was friendly yet unapologetic about the wait. The restrooms were rundown.

Ordered to go ...worst bbq place ever! I couldve made better mac & cheese by buying a generic box at the grocery store! The ribs tasted like they had been reheated from frozen. The fries were basically frozen fries from the bag! Dont waste your money or time with this place

Myself and a co-worker stopped in on 3/15/16 to grab a bite. All I can say and describe my first experience here is "AWESOME!". Now were back the next afternoon for lunch. Good people, nice atmosphere and delicious food. Ribs were phenomenal! Its a MUST try.

We ordered the Ribs and smoked chicken salad. The ribs were by far the best Ive ever had anywhere. My wife stills talks how good the salad was and she cant wait to try another one. Service was fast and friendly. The rustic decor was a nice touch to the place.

Went there on my last business trip to MS. The pulled pork plate is outstanding, the meat is tender and juicy, and the sauces they have - OMG! The potato salad is outstanding as well as the beans. One small quibble - small portions on the sides.

Definitely the best ribs weve ever had! Yes better than Joes in St . Louis, Missouri! Very clean, fast service, and friendly. Sides and deserts were great. It will be a place we wont be able to pass by when we travel through. Loved it!

Friendly staff. Fast service. Nice atmosphere. Good BBQ and slaw. Kids enjoyed ribs and grilled cheese. Very reasonably priced. Not far off interstate making this a great place to stop especially if youre traveling through Tupelo.

Actually less than 1 star. Our group waited an hour to get our food. The waitress was snippy when we said we had to go our bus group was waiting. We asked for to go but that took forever to get bagged. Very bad experience.

Probably the worst bbq Ive ever had, and my son asked for a knife to cut his corn on the cob, and was told no. I mean, for real? It was all around a bad experience. Will definitely find another place next visit.

Best BBQ smoked ribs, and friendly, felt like a king and queen, waitress offered us a rib while we looked at the menu, fresh made coffee, and directed my husband to a choice beer to enjoy with his meal.

The brisket was delicious and the dry rub on the ribs was great too. Best BBQ and friend staff. Please save room for the homemade cakes! I recommend the strawberry, but it is a diabetic nightmare. ;)
