Im not the sort of person who usually goes for BBQ, but this place opened recently in Mundelein to very good word of mouth, so I decided to stop by. The place, while small, was packed. Always a good sign. The menu is diverse but not overwhelming. Again this is good. Make it easier to make your choice. It took a while to receive my order, but as this isnt a fast food joint that was to be expected. Fortunately theyve made the most of the small space and have a lot of seating. Its recommend you call in your order for pickup, although a website would make this part easier. If there is one there isnt a link via the business on Google Maps. The lady at the counter was very pleasent. A pleasure to talk to. So what about the food? The food was pretty damn good. Again I dont frequent BBQ too often, but at the end this place is now in my rotation of places to consider when I dont want to make dinner. The ribs were good, but a little zesty for my tastes. I believe there are two other sauce options. I look forward to trying them. The brisket, which is my preference, was fantastic. Tender, and the dipping sauce provided was excellent. I played it safe on the sides and got the mac n cheese, and tater tots. The mac and cheese is better than most fast food and restauarant brands. Closest comparison is the KFC variant which is also good. The tater tots were to die for. Perfectly crisp all around. 5 stars overall. Hope this place becomes a Mundelein staple.

I just had the in and out bowl (mac n cheese, pulled pork, jalapenos, in and out sauce) and my mind is seriously blown. Ive been to St. Louis and tried top-rated places like Pappys - this was better than it all. Incredibly rich and flavorful sauce on top of perfectly tender pulled pork, and noodles that arent overcooked. The diced jalapenos bring the perfect amount of heat and rounds the dish off perfectly. Although I do wonder if the mac n cheese by itself would be able to hold its own, I highly recommend the in and out bowl. The portion is plenty as well, which makes it very affordable. Tots were pretty good too! Be forewarned, this place is (for now) take-out only! As this place gets more well known, I imagine they will want to find a way to streamline things in order to speed everything up just a smidge. Also, the menu changes daily, so be sure to call ahead to confirm, if you want something specific like rib tips, etc.

Got the pulled pork Sandwich with fries and the Mac and cheese on the side. Sandwich was very tasty had it with the in n out barbecue sauce very good. Generous serving of meat in a bun that wasnt just foam. Mac and chz was tasty but next time Ill try that Mac and cheese with the pulled pork and the in out sauce.

Was so so Excited to try this and severely disappointed. Mac & Cheese is on point but my Chicken wings we over cooked, super dry and like eating a carcass of a chicken, chewy and not able to eat tried calling and no one answered ! Hopefully they can get there act in gear !

You know its the real deal when they sell out as often as they do and Im here to tell you its definitely amazing!! Although I have to get use to their new hours its certainly worth it.

Went several times and place was closed, hours said 11 - 9 pm it was 1230 pm the first time and 1200 the next, sad had observed over a dozen people try like i did.
