Let me say the service was great. They were prompt and nice. The food was not good. The meat over cooked "burned" and not in a good way. It was oily and smelled like lighter fluid. The baked beans. The sauce was amazing but there were no beans in the sauce!!! This was recommended to me from a coworker whos food options I usually trust. However I was so disappointed. Please make sure there beans in the sauce and that BBQ isnt burnt to hell!!!

Best BBQ Ive had. Period. The owner & operators all super courteous. The meat is smoked to perfection and I could swim in the sauce. Even the Friday fish fry is amazing (I had the perch with cornmeal breading). I have told everyone I know to go, and they have all been blown away. Glad I stopped by out of curiosity!

So good! Brisket sandwich is the best i think. Great location because i always go to menards and you can smell the food from way over there even though dennys restaurant is right in between the 2. PaPas BBq wins all the time. Also very friendly people. A+

Their brisket and sauce is 5 stars, the reason I only gave them 4 is the fries are pretty standard, the coleslaw had nice flavor, but was very wet, way overdressed. Im definitely going back to try their other meats.

Best BBQ in madison hands down. The pork melted in my mouth and every single french frie was crispy and hot. Pappa goes above and beyond for his costumers!
