This place has gone downhill in a big way. No more all you can eat fish fry, just one piece. Overpriced food, nice view of Lake Como but DONT get me started on the dance & song of the living dead over by the piano in the corner. OMG - a 94 year old woman on the keys who sounds like a dying rooster when she tries to sing......and then 5-6 more 80 or 90 somethings joining in with her on background vocals. This sounds like it would be fun for comedic entertainment purposes alone and it is.............. for a few minutes but NOT while Im having cocktails and dining in for an hour or two. Quite frankly, its unbearable. I dont think Ill go back for my once a summer visit anymore. Simply because the food is bad and the entertainment is WORSE!

A classic Wisconsin Supper Club right on the south side of Lake Como. Its a totally fun place to find when meeting friends, with a classic look and a gorgeous view across the lake. Theres a beach perfect to occupy the kids while parents and grandparents sip cocktails and rickety little pier that boats can pull up to when theyre coming for dinner. live music on weekends. The food is solid, delicuous typical Wisconsin with ribs, brats, awesome burgers and coleslaw. If there is a wait for a table on a weekend evening, try going down to the Waterfront Bar where they have a partial menu that includes their Famous Ribs. Its such a great atmosphere and I highly recommend it, not fancy but very friendly and truly a classic.

Totally disagree with seapickle but now know why you call yourself seapickle! Mars is a friendly place with great food and frankly it tickles (rhymes with pickle) my heart to know that the woman playing and singing is 94 - what a gal! Plus why shouldnt people of a certain age have a place to go to fun. I think seapickle should wait until he/she gets older and see how he feels about the "prickly" statements he/she made about good people. Love the burgers and am picking one up to-go tonight. Remember this is a bar and grill - Always feel welcome there and love the view specially when they have their fly-ins and snowmobile-ins. Great group of people!

This was the worst dining experience Ive ever had. Almost a two hour wait, to be seated. They told us it would be an hour. Once seated the service was slow and our waitress was a total butch. Food took forever to be be served. The actual food was below average. The medium rare steak I ordered was served well done. I just ate it cuz I was so hungry. No idea how place stays in business. Very limited menu as well. Id give zero stars if I could. Wouldnt go here again if it was free .

If you like Bloody Marys they make an excellent one, totally worth the trip just for that. Hilarious U shaped bar, great place to hang out. I read the poor reviews on the the food and have to disagree. Its bar food and good at that. We had a Reuben and the rye bread was fresh and light, grilled perfectly. really good fries. My uncle had the salmon and I wasnt sure how that would be but he really liked it. Nice people running the place, very friendly.

the food is amazing be prepared to wait but its so worth it and even better when youre server is awsome really liked Diana very nice and gave me a lot of options to chose from she was so awsome around my group of kids as well really liked her will definitely come back to mars and hope Diana is our server again!! She definitely could handle my 19 people that came in all together !!! Awsome lunch!

I think this place is absolutely fantastic. I love going there, especially in the summer months. They are very welcoming and friendly and they do have some descent food as well, especially the burgers! It is a fun bar and i love when they have the entertainment in summer. I also love the improvements they made outside with the nice seating area. Kevin the bartender is awesome.

Waited over 90 minutes for a table for 4 while they pushed tables together for big parties. Told no reservations but big parties took precedent! After telling wait staff about time waiting we were sat in a back corner by the door. Food came burnt and was NOT good. $106.00 on a horrible dinner. Would not recommend this place for quality food or organization.

Excellent small town establishment. We went for lunch and both the food and the service was the best! The restaurant has an excellent view of the lake and although we were here in winter and the lake was frozen over, the view was great. I imagine this is a great time and view in the summer too. Highly recommended this place for lunch or dinner.

Exceeded my expectations. Friday afternoon, no wait (except for outside tables), food is prepared artfully, quality ingredients, service is professional. I had the lake perch plate with onion rings, was too much to finish, and those are words you rarely hear from me! Friend had a burger, and it was very flavorful beef. Good job!

Awesome. We came in search of the authentic supper club experience and were rewarded in spades. Waited for our table at the beachfront bar watching barefoot waterskiers. Inside: friendly service, great food (especially the ribs) and a view to remember. Off the beaten track but so worth the drive.

Food just fine for a typical Wisconsin lakefront bar and restaurant. But...oh my god there are hundreds of flies inside and no one cares. Our server shrugged and another server told a patron that the owners dont care as they get a 2 hour wait on weekends regardless. Ick.

Excellent Friday night fish fry, but be prepared to wait. Sometimes up to an hour and a half for a table on a Friday. Worth it. Great clam chowder, excellent patty melt. The new renovations in the bar area have really spruced the place up. My family loves Mars.

Recently renovated; this is the epitome of what a classic Wisconsin bar does... go there early for Kevins bloodys, stay for the friendly people sitting at the bar, enjoy the beautiful views from inside and on the deck, and eat their amazing food!

I will never eat here again. Fish fry was terrible and not all you can eat. Place was noisy and filthy. Service was slow and unfriendly. I guess this is what wisconsin people like and expect. This place would not last one week in Illinois.

Pretty good surf and turf type fare and the deck has an amazing view of the lake. Come here for a more relaxed setting than what you would get on the busier lake Geneva. Not much for vegetarians though.

Best burgers in the Lake Geneva area! We order from here all the time and are never disappointed. The interior is old school Wisconsin with an amazing view of Lake Como. Outdoor seating is available.

This place is awesome. The atmosphere outside is beautiful and the servers are locals are very friendly. Our server was Michelle was awesome!!!!!! Very attentive and fast. Well definitely come back.

absolutely terrible, food is discussing, i used to work they and it is so gross. the kitchen is filthy and the workers are all a bunch of women who are all fake and are assholes, besides patty whack.
