Weber Grill is owned by the same people that make Weber Grills...makes sense, huh? Even better, all the food is actually cooked on Weber Grills over Kingsford Charcol. There are 4 Weber Grill restaurants...Chicago, Schaumbrg, Oak Brook, and Indianapolis, IN. We chose the downtown location for a great date night. The downtown location is at State and Grand. We made 6:45 reservations on a Saturday night...good thing we did. We we walked in, the place was packed and there was a 2 hour wait for a table. We were seated right away at a table for two which shared a bench with other tables for two. Something Ive come to expect at the fancier restaurants but still really dont like. Its not intimate enough. We end up hearing converstations from the couples next to us and we were seated next to one of those obnoxious guys that is just out to score. The kitchen is out in the open and you actually walk through the kitchen to get to the dining room. You can see all the grills and all the food being cooked. We started with drinks. I orderd the Webers Backyard Brew which is brewed by Goose Island. Its similar to most of the domestic ales. My date got the Pomegrante Sangria. So good she got two. Before the appetizer, they brought bread to the table and yes, even the bread is cooked on the grill. The three rolls came with a cheddar-onion spread and whipped butter. The rolls had a outer smoke layer, but were soft and chewey inside. We ordered the Fire Grilled Pepperoni Pizza for an appetizer. Incredible flavor. Its more like a pizza bread, but you can taste the grill flavor on it. The pepperonis were much thicker than usual. The pizza was long and thin and had six slices. Great start to dinner. For entrees, I orderd the Wisconsin Burger. Its a 10 oz. burger with with applewood smoked bacon and cheddar cheese. Incredibly juicy...just like youd make in your backyard. That meal also comes with fries which were the only thing we had that wasnt cooked on the grill. Disappointingly, theyre just ordinary out of the bag fries. My date ordered the Sesame Honey Glazed Chicken which came on a bed of Chinese Long Beans, Carrots, Sweet Bell Peppers, Shiitake Mushrooms, Thai Basil and Bok Choy. She mentioned more than once that the chicken had quite a kick to it....not when you bit into but a strong, spicy after taste. Normally, I finish my meal long before she does, but this one was so good, she couldnt put her fork down. We were both too stuffed to try desert. Our bill with 3 drinks was under $60 and we were in and out in less than an hour. The manager came to our table to make sure we were happy and the waiter always seemed to be there at just the right time. Weber Grill is one of the best restaurants Ive ever eaten at. Im a big fan of Weber Grills and refuse to ever use propane to grill, so maybe I have a little bias, but the wood cooked flavor is magnificent. They take a lot of food you wouldnt think of grilling and make it taste great. Weber Grill is absolutely a recommendation that I would make to anyone who enjoys grilled food.

My sister and I had a server by the name of Joshua at table 302/1. We had called and asked If theres a wait for Fathers Day and they said that "there wasnt a wait" so my sister said shell like to reserve a spot for 2 in about an hour and a half. the woman said "what is the name." She gave it to her. When we arrive they proceed to tell us they dont have our reservation. Then I said it was for two. The host lady then informed us, "oh we cancel those after 10 mins." So we had to wait a small amount of time. Which was ok. So skip ahead we get our food. My sister had order a strip steak and wanted A1 sauce but when the food was given the person who gave us the food didnt ask if she wanted sauce for it so we were waiting for our waiter to come around to ask. My sister was able to dice up her steak before and then sit for 5 mins for the waiter even reached us and she asked him For A1 sauce and he said ok. Then comes this other person (a lady) to give us the A1 sauce. When she did my sister asked if she can tell our waiter that she needed another soda because hers was water down, she had Pepsi. She said ok. 10 to 15mins later and no one returned with her drink and our waiter was only going to the two tables behind us. Then we finally got his attention and said she needed a new drink then proceeded to tell him about telling the woman and having to wait 15 mins to get a drink (exactly like that) and he said ok then when he started walking away shaking his head and mumbbling something under his breathe. And my sister said "dont shake your head and mummble under your breathe just make sure you check your tables." Then went to his manager and said that we were disrespectful to him. Instead of bring the drink back he gave the table behind us there check then walked away and his manager came over with the drink and immediately said "dont disrespect my server" didnt ask what happen or anything. So my sister said so your just going to come over here and not even ask us what happened ? Then the manager began arguing with her and I tried to explain what happened but he kept bickering with my sister so she called him an asswhole and asked for our check. He sent another manager to give us our check , which that manager was a lot nicer. We paid $71.36 for bad service. Never again , atleast the food was good.

My husband and I came to your restaurant for a romantic dinner for our Anniversary. Due to the fact we have been to Weber Grill before in Schaumburg IL we loved it and expected more than what we got. First off the date of our visit was 6.27.17. The hostess placed us at a booth I asked if we could sit outside on the patio. She told me to hold on a minute, then cam back with water for us and menus. But no answer about the patio, she went back to the front of the restaurant. The hostess sat us right in front of the cooks, it was loud and mind you I said I wanted a nice romantic dinner. So I walked up to the hostess and asked if we could sit on the patio her reply was no the waiter for the patio doesnt come in until 5. Now at this point my husband asked if we could move somewhere with less noise. She said hold on let her check and moved us to the back of the restaurant. What shocked me the most is, as we are eating I see people on the patio eating having a good time. I was very upset because it was only a few minutes after we had asked to sit out there. I feel like it was some type of discrimination and Weber Grill is not a cheap place to eat. If I am paying a $100 or more every time I come to your restaurant I should be able to sit where I please. It was a BIG DIFFERENCE in Chicago Weber Grill & the Schaumburg Weber Grill. You have to do better! For me to come to this restaurant because I enjoyed myself at another location and come here for my Anniversary. It was disappointing and wasnt a great experience.
