02/27/2015 - These all-you-can-stuff Chinese buffet restaurants used to be fun, tasty and an excellent value. I arrived at 7:30 pm and most of the food was luke-warm, the steamed rice was dried out and like chewing little stones, and the sweet and sour chicken was so mushy I wondered if it was really chicken. Yes the staff was very friendly and attentive but the food was a big bust. Add to that the price, $13.99 plus drink and tax comes to $16.89. I couldnt not tip the ladies as they did a great job but the total for a crappy dining experience was $19.89. I definitely wont be back,. Instead Ill head out to Slap Ya Mama for excellent barbecue, more reasonable price and a view of the ocean!

Flutter Flut

Tried it twice, thought maybe the first time was a fluke, but this place has the absolute worst Chinese food Ive ever eaten. I ordered off the menu to take home and ended up throwing it away. We couldnt even eat it. The taste is very very bad. Instead of lo mein noodles it was thin spaghetti noodles. The egg rolls tasted rotten. Everything was just bad. Anyone who marks this place as anything else must either own the place or are friends with the owners.

There food is good but they are terrible about putting the dishes back out. I literally sat there for 20minutes waiting for boiled shrimp to be put back out. Then they were out of friend crab meat, fried shrimp, egg rolls, and so much more at the same time. I ended up leaving not eating my favorite dishes because they werent putting them out until 15-30min after it was out. Terrible service

This place was wonderful!! The food was fresh and delicious, everything was super clean, the wait staff were attentive and speedy. Price was great, and they had tons to choose from! A sushi bar, great salad bar, perfect eggdrop soup and other food options I didnt even know existed(baby octopus! not for me, but to each his own) Yumm! Ive found my new favorite chinese buffet!

I have searched long, and I have searched hard through the wilderness of Houston... the Mexican enclaves of Pasadena, Deer Park, La Porte. And in the mirror of Gulfport, MS: Baytown, TX... to find an equal to the Royal Super Buffet. I have failed. Or rather, Texas has failed to match the epic awesomeness that is the Royal. I may just have to move back to Mississippi.

My son and I went there for lunch today. I was very disappointed in there food. I have been several times over the years, but today the food was very dry, the crab Rangoon had hardly any stuffing inside, and the ones that did were just cream cheese and garlic. I will say that our waitress was very nice.

Literally just left there 30 mins... & Ive already thrown it up. Majority of it was cold or old. Fried chicken wasnt cooked all the way, plus we seen a woman sticking her finger in the food & licking it off... Totally disgusting will never go back... Praying I dont have food poisoning & dont miss work

I didnt want to put an star cause this store is swarming with bugs and insects I wouldnt send anyone there to eat... How can you eat with huge roaches and mice dead sitting close by in hidden places. They swarm around the food and trust they will allow you to eat it...

me and my family love this place, the staff is friendly my 18 month girl loves the manager he always takes time to talk to her and us. the grill is delicious and sushi can compete with koi and win! love love love it!

The build your own hibachi is great. The sushi is surprisingly fresh and delicious, and they keep all the buffet dishes well stocked and fresh. Try the Apple turnovers for dessert if you have room.

One of the better Chinese buffets on the coast. They include a Mongolian grill with your meal for no extra charge. Great sushi selection as well.
