Im sure the food might be good but the service was horrible. It was seat yourself, which was really hurting the staff.we got 2 baskets of chips before someone took our drink order. We put our order in before several large parties (and one table of two) were even sat and they recieved their food before our party of 2. A different server even came and brought us menus to take our oder we had already placed with someone else a good 15 minutes prior. That was a red flag. We waited an additional 10 minutes after the tables, who arrived after us received their meals, hoping ours would be out soon. We had waited over 50 minutes, paid for our sodas and left (without eating). They had a "dj" there this evening (Sunday) and it was incredibly loud. One couple came in, sat for a few minutes, no one took their drink order and they got up and left and complained it was too loud. We live in the area and were hopeful to make this a regular place. But we wont be back after this evening.

Thought this would be a good place to go for Cinco de mayo. Service was beyond poor. Restaurant only looked busy because the service was that slow. It took about 20 minutes from when we sat down for a wait person to even acknowledge us. Took an hour to get food. I asked for mine without Pico but they messed it up. Worse rice and beans I have ever gotten from a Spanish restaurant. The waiter told me twice that he would refill my drink but he never did. We didnt want to wait another hour for the waiter to give us our check so we just left cash on the table and walked out. I understand that you are busier than normal since its may 5th but that doesnt mean as a waiter or waitress you can ignore your customers. The table next to us wait 80 minutes for food and they asked a waitress where there food was and she never returned. The wife had to go up to the counter just to have someone tell them they lost their order.

This was the first time Ive been here since they closed down and I had high hopes. and although the food was amazing, like really really good... the service was so incredibly bad. I was honestly shocked. My table was one of 3 or 4 tables with no more than 3 people each. and by the time we were allowed to order, everyone else had left. every single task she had, she completely forgot about. whether it was or actual order, salsa, water refill, or a box. it was unfathomable how long we waited for every minut task. and she was just sitting there. in her defense she was very apologetic and really seemed to mean it. and maybe I dont know the full story here... but regardless of the story, the price I paid was the same. Ill post a pic of the food tho it was sooooo good.

I really wanted to like this place, but our meal didnt have much taste and the margaritas were weak. The server told us the margaritas are made with Patron, but we couldnt taste any tequila so we ordered a shot to mix into our drinks. Still, it didnt help much and they charged $9 for the shot of Patron! The margarita was only $8, you cant tell me it has Patron in it. On top of this, the server lacked the knowledge to answer any of our questions about menu items. We wont be back and are surprised this place has such positive reviews.

Great freshly prepared Mexican food! Super clean and with a decent Mexican beer selection but no Bohemia. Juan promised to correct that by our next visit! The chicken and pork tamales were outstanding and Enchiladas Morelos a special treat. Denise did an excellent job explaining menu items and taking care of us, and we expect to repeat soon to try out other delectable delights! And to see Denise!

I have traveled across America from east to west and from north to south, and wherever I go I always look for a good mexican restaurant. Morelos Mexican restaurant is the very best of all the Mexican restaurants I have been to so far, ironically is in my own neighborhood. The food and the service are excellent, servers are very well trained, respectful and friendly and the food is awesome.

Ordered the beef soup/stew. Arrived with a huge hunk of nearly raw cabbage, nearly raw carrots, and a very fatty piece of beef. Inedible. Ordered the Haurche, which said was on a large corn tortilla. The tortilla was an inch think and hard as a rock. Was not comped for these two items not eaten. Have eaten there before, but this was BAD

Worst service I have ever experienced. The waitress was very rude. Had to go up to the bar to get water. We were ignored 3 times when we asked for salsa, they never brought it. Would reccomnd this place if you enjoy waiting 25 minutes for getting your drink. This is the first time Ive never left a tip.

Very good food. It was taking awhile for our food so the waitress brought us all a free bottle of pop. I asked for flour shells and got corn which they seemed busy so I didnt bother asking for the right ones. They might need more help waiting tables otherwise it was good and I would go back.

Excellent food and friendly service. This is the best Mexican food Ive had since moving here from Chicago. I have tried quite a few places that are great, but this one is far and away the best! We had a good mix of their food - the chile relleno and tamal were our favorites.

Real Mexican food for a reasonable price. Cant go too wrong. Food will be slow to your table if they are very busy, but I guess thats the cost of popularity, and the green dip that come with your complimentary chips is to die for.

Chips and salsa were good but thats about it. Ordered fajitas in which the steak was extremely overcooked/chewy, didnt bring us plates or silverware and when they did, the silverware was dirty.

The food was so good! All of it. Tip: you can order single delicious tamales on the side for $2.50 each. The place was quiet with ample parking and the service was good.
