I would like to start by saying Ive been a loyal customer of this restaurant for many years and have literally eaten there every evening since they reopened. Two weeks ago they told me I could no longer use my credit card there. I had been using it for the last four years! What changed? I have no idea. The same waiter that told me I could no longer use my credit card told me tonight that I needed to put my cell phone away as I was looking at inappropriate photos ( not true ). I always keep my phone in my lap or on the table. Be warned! No photos of bikini clad women or shirtless men! I thought it very rude and stupid. And after 6 years of loyalty I will NEVER step foot in there again! Goodbye $4 rice and beans! The food is ok there but cheap thats why I went. I called the manager and he said I was in the wrong. For what? Having a cell phone out?!? And looking at naughty photos does not stimulate my appetite! I told the waiter why were you looking over my shoulder to begin with?!? He had no answer. Be warned do NOT use cell phones there they dont like it!!!!

Heh. It was okay, but I was hoping for better. I got carry out because Id just finished a huge test and was craving Mexican. I normally follow a pretty strict paleo food plan, and I rarely step outside of it for a treat. Now Im wishing I had just eaten the leftovers in the frig. The red sauce was oddly sweet, the salsa was overwhelmingly oniony, and my cheese enchilada was not fully melted inside. I was hoping to find somewhere near where I live for a quick Mexican fix, but it looks like Ill be heading to West Little Rock next time. I will say that they got my order out in about 15 minutes, but I ordered at 3pm on a week day so I dont really think that is saying too much.

We always have an excellent experience here. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. The prices are pretty reasonable, and definitely less than most West Little Rock competitors. My friends, family, and I are also big El Porton(original location) fans, but this place is hard to beat. They keep the chips and salsa coming as well. I love the green sauce, but El Portons salsa is better. Their Margaritas are almost as good as Porton too. You get big portions here. Even the La Hacienda nachos are big enough to split between two people. Seafood burrito and fish tacos are to die for. Very authentic atmosphere and just a great group of people that work here.

Its a standard cheap Mexican restaurant made for the locals. In CA, AZ or TX the rating would have been 1 star. Its a safe bet but nothing is quality or unique. The house margarita is just a mix, so not worth the money (I dont think there was any alcohol, just sweet & sour). The three salsas given are good. The chips are weak and not quality, but served warm. The soft corn tacos Al Pastor were so bland and weak (by weak I mean just the meat and taco) I wanted to put Chalula all over just to make it interesting. The beans were from a can. Rice was standard. Service was fast and good.

Ive always loved how great the service is at La Hacienda but they managed to go above and beyond tonight. I placed a large take-out order for 10 people and it was ready for pick-up less than 20 minutes. In a rush, I ran out without checking the receipt or the bags. When I got home and realized there were two orders missing and called the restaurant, they told me to come back and pick it up. When I arrived, they apologized and didnt charge me for the rest of the order. Awesome service, awesome people, awesome food, and awesome prices.

Our experience was a mixed bag. My wifes food was awesome and mine was disappointing. They are just reopening after their renovation so they may be working out kinks. My wife had the fish tacos, it came out piping hot and everything was on point. I had the carne asada, it was pretty bland and cool by the time it got to me. I got the impression that mine was ready very early and my wifes took a bit longer. Their punch is still on point but they seem to not have the cooked salsa anymore. They still have the green and red though.

The service was just a little off tonight but normally theyre awesome! The food was great and everyone was very nice and quick to fix any issues there may have been. Not too worried about the slow service, itll get better soon, Im sure. They just re-opened and we were there at dinner on a Saturday night. The house margaritas were a little pricey, it cost $18 and some change for 2 house margaritas but all the other drinks seemed much more reasonably priced.

Great cheese dip. Let me reiterate that: great cheese dip. This is a pretty typical Mexican restaurant with some brightly colored decor and authentic staff. The food is a dollar or so more than Id like it to be but since the portions are enormous I can split any dish with my wife and we still leave fat and happy for a very reasonable price. This is the best Mexican restaurant Ive found in Little Rock but I dont care for any of the 3 salsas they bring out.

Best fried beans in town (that Ive enjoyed so far); mix with some cheese dip then enjoy with a tortilla chip ... really tasty! Verde salsa is awesome. Very fast and friendly service; a clean environment. Consistently good meals. House margaritas are a bit average but inexpensive (maybe consider upgrading); however, the Piña Coladas are fantastic. Will visit again soon and then often thereafter.

I called in for a take-out order. It took 25 minutes to get the food ready - we ordered enchiladas and fajitas, to go. Also, the place has more lights in it than a football stadium, so it is totally devoid of a cozy sit-down-restaurant-for-dinner-with-your-significant-other-feel. The food was good though. Fix the lighting and up the service slightly and this place will be the bom!

Food was very dry. Service was AWFUL. Hardly had anyone wait on us and when someone did check in on us it was a different person every time made it very confusing on who to ask when we needed something and who to tip. The bus boy stood next us while we were finishing eating waiting to bus our table. I just felt rushed. Do not recommend this place.

Place just reopened. It is clean. Went for lunch, and service was great! One person greets you as soon as you walk in. Same person seats you and gets your drink. This is fast Service. Lunch prices were affordable. Food was ok. Ill be back just because of the fast service. Ill try something else next time. I had the chimichanga.

Well... The beer was cold, so thats the only reason they even get one star. The service was apathetic at best and the food was dreadful. The worst enchiladas I have ever had, pitiful quesadillas (how do you screw up cheese and tortillas?!) and sweet brown bbq sauce on the chili Verde. Absolutely awful. Avoid this place!
