New to town and looking for some quick coffee and 15 mins of WiFi. Asked for the password and the girl snapped that it was only for customers "you have to, you know, buy something to stay".....which is why I was in line. She then pushed a menu at me and my husband and walked away. We each ordered meals (which were fine / grab-and-go/ gas station type food) and when she brought them she threw them on the edge of our table, no eye contact, no words, and stomped off never looking or coming back to ask how we were. I have never felt so unwanted or unwelcome. I have no idea what we would have done to offend her, but I will never be returning to this place, I hope management knows what these people are doing to their business. Most rude and offensive coffee break EVER taken.

Have been here (Sat/Sun AMs) many times as it is in a convenient location. Breakfasts meals are large and tasty. Service is CONSISTENTLY AMAZINGLY HORRIBLE. It is almost as if it is a comedy sketch - you couldnt be worse if you tried. The lowest word count for an interaction to date has been 2: Whaddya want? I love how they will simply plop your drink or food down and then walk away without a word. And yet they can have long conversations amongst themselves. Location and food rate it 3 . . . barely.

I was trying to find a study spot near me and wanted to avoid chains. This seems more of a grab and go place than a hang out and study place. It was also pretty empty. My mocha was average, nothing special. Probably wont return as the hours are not ideal. They close at 5pm on weekdays and 2pm on weekends. The manager seemed disgruntled when I didnt realize the closing time (never having been there before), but otherwise the staff seemed hospitable.

One of my regular haunts now that I live in the valley. In the food industry involved owners make for great experiences, and this place is proof of that; the coffee is top notch, the food is mouth-watering, and the price and ambiance and location are all unbeatable. Nothing compares to a great coffee shop, and The Daily Grind has this figured out!

The Daily Grind it is the greatest Coffee House in Stillwater run by two of the nicest people. They have the best bakery selection. Our favorites are the pumpkin bread and the mixed berry bar followed by the chocolate croissant. Breakfast burritos are great. This is the coffee house that you have been searching for.

Great coffee, conversations with the locals and a killer view of the marina and St. Croix River. Idyllic! Great sandwiches and muffins with a bookstore in the front to purchase a new or gently used book. Wheelchair accessible in the front/ bathrooms and decks out back to enjoy the Riverview.

Great atmosphere and the Creamy Caramel Blendz was delicious! They had a great selection of craft beers! I didnt know a coffee shop could sell beer?! The one in Front Royal, VA didnt...then again, it is West Virginia! I highly recommend this place!

The baristas were very friendly and made the coffee shop feel like home. They were also very quick and we got our drinks within a minute or two of ordering, even though the shop was hopping with customers. Great experience overall!

Stranded in Stillwater, I stopped at the Daily Grind for a cup. Damn good coffee and a scone that melted in my mouth. While I am stranded in Stillwater, I simply cannot complain with a hot cup of coffee from the Daily Grind.

Cute little coffee shop. Access it from the back of the building, where they have parking for the bookstore and grocery store next door. Its attached to the bookstore with some cute, but limited indoor seating options.

Whenever possible I patronize locally owned businesses with high quality goods and services and a friendly environment. The Daily Grind is all this and much much more. Skip the chains and come to The Grind!

Staff doesnt have people skills. Best thing they could do is to sell their business. Very few customers in early hours. This place should be the poster child for how not to run a business.

The breakfast sandwiches are amazing, and priced as well as any sane person could ask. I wish I ate there every morning. I could. I should. Maybe I will. I will. Yum...

This is the best coffee shop to be had stateside, and gives the best of Europe a run for the money. You can really tell the owners put their hearts and souls into it.

Excellent coffee specials. Good place to go for a quick breakfast on the go, or to sit down and relax and talk with a friend over coffee. Cozy environment.

Hilariously disinterested staff. Such bad service it was comical. Management needs to pull their head free of their underside and get rid of someone.

The owners here are a lovely couple with a warm atmosphere. We stopped in here after going through the ice castles. Easily within walkable distance.

Really bad coffee, so why go there? The light roast wasnt as good as gas station coffee. How this place stays in business I have no idea.

Ive never been disappointed by the service or coffee/espresso here. Not sure what all those other spiteful comments are about.
